Stories ran though her head tonight as she lay beside a large oak like tree, though this wasn't to unusual for her. After all she had just spent the last few days catching up with her lovely yet silly father, Terrance Chamberland. He was one of a kind that was for sure, and he seemed to be the only one she could connect with in her whole family. Though the thing that really connected them to one another, was their stories! They would sit for hours telling of their adventures and telling of things that seem like they may only exist in fairy-tales. Stories were something that in her life she found the most comfort in. Except the only bad thing was the only other person she had to share them with was her father. Her father who was always off chasing another dream or female every other day of the week. So sadly enough she really didn't have someone to really confide her tales in. Maybe one day soon though, she would met someone who didn't really mind that side of her. The side that thrived on stories, fairy-tales, and imagination.

As she looked the sky she saw what appeared to be the evening star. With that she closed her eyes and began to wish. 'Star light star bright first star I see to night I wish I may I wish I might have the dream I wish tonight.' With those final words she lay her head down upon her hoofs and looked out towards the vast empty lands that lay before her body.

There was no fog, no eerie hoot of an owl; it was an average ordinary fall night. High above in the night sky, the bright shining crescent moon reflected down upon the earth. Geyaguga, the great Cherokee moon spirit was waning and would soon enter into the stage of the dark moon, when not glow would be cast upon the e-lo-hi-no (earth).

Adonvdo Nudade, a stallion of the Asgina Kanehelvsgi (ghost story) Herd, had traveled from his o-we-nv-sv (home) to make a new home here in the Kawani Lands. He had originally come to tell the spooky tale of his coat, but once he learned others had the same thirst for a good tale as he, Adonvdo went in search of fellow storytellers. He had not yet encountered as many as he had hoped, but with each hoof step another legend was born. Most of the tales he had to tell were full of shadows and evil beings who haunted the land; he created tales about humans who distorted into blood thirsty monsters who preyed upon their own kind and possessed the power to transform their prey into dolls, which they added to their steadily growing collection. There was another, just as dark, about a meat eating plants that had the capability to suck the life out of any creature it touched.

Yellow eyes looked once again to the moon; perhaps soon the Spirits of the Ancestors would guide a new Ka-no-he-lv-s-gi (Story) to him on this night.

Shirlyn laid there and wondered about everything in life. Her mask of normality was slowly falling away as she laid in the grass. She could feel the whispers of the breeze in the dark night. They wondered just what she did. These lands were so stunning yet her father and so many had just passed them by. What stories could these places hold, though right now she shook her head and looked around. The stories were probably everywhere, but no one ever took the time to look or at least her father didn't. With those thoughts aside she paused for a moment. What if someone else did stop, and she had just missed them.

"Hello?" she questioned aloud as she let the wind carry her voice. If she was truly luckily maybe the stars and this land had heard her wish. Stories were ready to escape her tongue, but who would her audience be the wind? the grass? the moon? the stars? or someone completely different. Only time or minutes would tell.

His glowing yellow eyes were closed as he took in the silence of the darkness, he preferred to travel at night, for it reminded him of the settings in his I-di-ga-lv-la-di (stories). He was not a strange stallion who sought after the horror he told in his tales, he just preferred the more eerie side of life. As he stood beneath the blazing stars, his wispy mane wiped behind him in the slight breeze; upon that breeze a soft echo of a voice reached his ears, at this distance he was not able to make out the specific word, but he took the echo as a sign from the Great Spirits.

“Ha-la’ –yv?” (When, how far?), was the owner of the voice to be the starting of a new tale? Adonvdo smiled and set off in the direction he assumed the voice came from. He enjoyed the art of passing along a good story and there were many upon this e-lo-hi (world, earth) that would share his same zeal. The stallion of the Asgina Kanehelvsgi made his way ka-lv-gv (east), his imagination taking on a mind of its own, as only a storytellers could, about who he was about to encounter. Would the owner of the voice be a creature of the night, hiding in the shadows, constantly blinded by the sun, or a spirit that walked the land, lost and unsure the next course of action.
