 Buttercup could feel the snow begin to pound on the ground below her as she ran. A smile lite up on her face as she ran through the cold night. She loved this weather more than anything, it was her favorite weather of all time. This was the one time of year her scarf actually made sense to those around her. Her goal tonight was to move further north, though right now she could care less about that. Actually in her mind she wanted to make a new story in this weather, a story she could tell to herself when she needed to fall asleep. "Though what kind of story can I make all by my lonesome," she thought to herself out loud, "It would be so much easier if I could magically run into someone. Plus in this snow that idea wouldn't be to crazy of a thought." As she finished speaking she threw back her head and laughed. If she couldn't run into people on a normal day, what would make today any different. After it was just a normal day so far that is.

Night had taken its hold on the world, but it was not alone, for silently falling from the sky was a myriad of white flakes; winter had arrived and cast its chilly blanket upon the land. The mountains surrounding the valleys were covered in snow, which marked the beginning of the ceremony of the Nv-da gu-ti-ha (Snow Moon). Amongst the swirling tuffs of white, a lone stallion stood his dark coat in contrast to the winter wonderland around him. His yellow eyes pierced the chilly night and he smiled, there was something about snow that seemed to always bring out his inner mischievous foal. Not a living creature stirred, it was as if a hush had fallen over the ga-do-hi (land).
Adonvdo Nudade did not want to disturb the quiet peacefulness of the realm, but he knew that he would soon need to move or he would become a u-nu-tsi nv-gi-di-ga-nv-sa-di (snow beast). One ear twitched and then the other as the sound of another approached, the other being was too far away that the stallion could not fathom a guess at who his snowy visitor would be, so he stood still and let the snow continue to collect around him.

Buttercup moved as fast as she could. She wanted to fight the white drops before they could freeze her feet. No matter if that time was probably quite far off. If she didn't keep a move on, she was afraid she may end up being stranded out here at some point. "where is all of this beautiful white angel drops coming from," she said in awe aloud as she paused just for a moment to admire the white flakes. They we're gorgeous and it was amazing how with just a few drops they could send wondrous chills through ones coat.
"The snow is an adventure in itself I bet," she said as she glanced for a few more seconds and continued on the move. While that could be quite an adventure or story to create, it was one she was unsure if she could complete alone. At least at this moment.
So as she lifted each leg she was determined not to stop. With all her attention focused on moving and the snow collecting around her. She didn't quite listen to the noises that surrounded her. "well if anyone is out here, maybe we can just have a snow party," she joked allowed to herself with a laugh.

He heard her voice first then was able to capture sight of her with his piercing citrine eyes; she appeared to be talking to herself, exclaiming about the thick snow drifts that were falling from the sky in a slow patient torrent. Adonvdo’s ears perked at her mention of adventure, he was in need of a traveling companion, and a good journey to warm his bones. The storycoat stallion shook himself of the excess snow he collected standing beneath the tree and went out to meet the carefree mare playing in the snow.
He took his time getting to her, not wanting to surprise her and cause her reason to bolt; Adonvdo was able to get a good look at the Snow Faery. Around her neck was a scarf, and intertwined in her braided tail and mane were red A-ni-tsi-lv-s-gi (roses), he wondered how she kept them alive in this cold. But the strangest thing was the object covering her ears. In all his travels the stallion had not come across such an item, did they keep her ears warm?
“Hello, U na tsi U wo du,”(Snow Beauty) he smiled at the mare, who reminded him of a snow sprite, frolicking within the frozen fluffs, “What does this snow party entail exactly?” He gave a laugh, he had not played within the snow since he was a foal, and the idea of doing so again set his inner colt racing to the surface.
