Never before had Juno realized just how exciting or amusing a breeze could be. Perhaps in her larger human form she just wasn't ever affected by it that much.. but tinier well... Her eyes had darted quickly after a crunchy leaf as it bounced across the pavement. Her ears twitched and flicked forward, curious to follow the strange scritching as the leave dragged along the ground.
Another gust and two more colorful leaves came tumbling across the pavement. Her tail twitched harshly, her rump wiggling for a moment before she pounced off after them. A paw smacked one of the leaves, but instead of staying pinned the edge simply crinkled away beneath her paw pads, the rest of the leaf escaping once more.
Her pursuit lead her in a circling and crazy path until she dove into the small pile of leaves that had gathered in a corner, sheltered from the wind. Digging around she flipped and flopped, kicking the loose and tickley foliage with soft amusement. Chomping down on a mouthful of leaves, she finally paused, popping her head out of the pile to sputter and spit out the icky tasting leaves and shake her head.
Important kitty lesson 15. Leaves were more fun than they were tasty!

Juno hadn't been the only cat in the area to think playing in the leaves would be delightfully fun. Across the pile that Juno had jumped into sat a much larger pile of leaves that seem to have been torn out of a garbage bag or two that were full from the neighbourhood's yards. The kitten didn't seem to care where the leaves had come from so she'd been playing in them when suddenly Juno had caught her attention. Her ears went erect and her fur fluffed up.
"Hello!" The kitten tested the waters, calling out to the other cat.
She wasn't that bold though, and after calling out, the kitten sunk down into the pile of leaves and hid.

Juno was a green cat. Something that.. did not get seen very very often. So it did not surprise her when people and other cats attempted to talk to her. Atleast not after the first day as a fuzzy little critter of perfect balance. Her ears nonetheless twitched as she heard another voice nearby, searching for the source with quick side to side glances. Hypnos-kitten was so small and half hidden that Juno looked past her once in her search for a human, before finally resettling on the small cat.
Was it the cat that had spoken? She hadn't run into very many cats that could speak like she could, most just mewed and hissed. Juno was hardly a careful person who thought things through though, so after about two seconds of 'whut' she returned the greeting curiously, waiting to see if she'd get a response. "Hello kitten cat"
Wriggling her way out of the leaves more she felt the tip of her tail begin to wiggle a little beneath the leaves, fighting the urge to just run up and sniff the other cat.

The hello that Juno had given her had been music to her ears. Not that Hypnos didn't enjoy being a kitten, because she did, but it really limited the people she could talk to. She couldn't talk to people because the likelihood of her being captured and then placed into a lab for experiments was quite strong and she hadn't fun into many senshi who weren't' cats. It left her with Bell and Xavier but they had things to do in the day and they couldn't very well stay home constantly to keep her company.
The kitten popped out of the leaves much like a Jack-in-the-Box and greeted the other cat with a rather happy expression.
"My name is Hypnos, what's yours?" She chirped up.

A paw whipped out immediately, as if it were an instinct, at the 'jack-in-the-box' like action of the kitten, batting the air above her head. Luckily enough for Hypnos Juno's claws were in, and if not startled by them in the first place, the playful nature of it was easily dechiperable. It was just so hard NOT to strike at things that moved and twitched. They were just so tempting!
It was quite clear that the other cat was the source of the words now between well.. her mouth moving and the star on her forehead and so the green cat gave her a very wide feline grin, once again wiggling her dangling paw in warning.
"Juno!" The offered name sounded a little bit familiar to her, but for now it was at the tip of her tongue.
"You want to play, yes?" The amazonian kitty insisted instead.

Hypnos had startled her, that was the easiest way to describe it but Junoe's surprise swipe had almost gone entirely unnoticed by the kitten. It may have been a good thing at this moment, but it definitely wasn't a good thing in general. It made her an easy target, although maybe the carefree environment right here was helping nurture comfort.
The name Juno sounded familiar though, but she'd never remembered meeting a cat that looked like this before. Had they met before Hypnos had been turned into a kitten, did that mean Juno was also not a cat normally? She surveyed the cat curiously. Had they met before? She couldn't tell.
"You want to play with me?" She gave a nod. She could never play enough, but she didn't have many people to play with. Bell and Xavier had normal things to do, senshi things to do and then the things that involved trying to find out just how Hypnos had become a kitten in the first place. Either way, it didn't leave her much time to play with them.

A strong nod was accompanied by a long and drawn out procliamation, leaves crackling beneath her twitching and moving paws. "Leaf taggggg!" Already the green cat was starting to sink into the dried leaves, trying to bury herself until she wasn't visible anymore.
If she hadn't forgotten about her tail she might have actually done a good job of it. But as it were a line of rustling and shifting leaves began to slowly creep towards Hypnos, the green tail very much like a shark fin sticking out of the water.
As she got closer, she began to move faster, her paws trying to reach in front of her and towards the kitten's own tiny feet.

Juno was like a child herself, more than happy to play until the two were entirely exhausted. And after spending almost an hour zipping in and out between leaves, tackling and tagging, the two were incredibly tired. Eventually Juno finally lay down on the cool ground, trying to rest and cool down.
She liked the little kitty and would be happy to play with her again and again.
