The second part of the exam will be held within the confines of this giant forest. Each genin will be given a Daruma doll with a chakra infused inscription on it. This inscription cannot be duplicated, so the genin must bring the specific doll that they are given to the large building in the middle of the forest.
A minimum of twenty posts must be made in order to make it to the central building, however, on each post, a twelve (12) sided dice must be rolled to determine what will happen next. The following list shows what happens for each side of the dice.
1. An odd colored llama appears from the woods and spits in your eyes. Take one post to clean the spit from your eyes.
2. A giant snake swallows you, and you are stuck for two posts trying to get out of it.
3. You run out of breath from running to strenuously. Take one post to regain your breath.
4. Nothing occurs, and you proceed as normal.
5. A giant bird picks you up and flew you closer to the Landmark. Take three posts off your total. (Was 10, now 7)
6. Nothing occurs, and you proceed as normal.
7. A genjutsu was placed on the area you just arrived in. You are stuck for two posts trying to escape.
8. A slide of vines takes you much closer to the landmark. Take two posts off the total amount you need to get to the Landmark. (Was 10, now 8.)
9. Nothing occurs, and you proceed as normal.
10. Nothing occurs, and you proceed as normal.
11. You break for lunch. Take one post to eat.
12. Nothing occurs, and you proceed as normal.
If you land on a number that says you must do something additional, this does not come out of the initial twenty posts. You do not roll again until after the penalty posts are completed (i.e. roll on the post after penalty). Therefore, you could be on this part of the exam for quite some time. You have seven days in real life time to escape the forest.
