Niflhel had settled on a park bench watching as an occasional person would pass by. His tail flickered as he seemed slightly bored sitting there with nothing to do. He wasn't really expecting anyone to stop and pet a stray cat either.
His tail flickered as he watched the streets busy with people and their holiday shopping on the main streets, while the park sat ignored by most. Niflhel stretched and sharpened his claws at one point, though he didn't know really why he was bothering with this.
"Man... I wonder when I'm getting out of this..." He finally sighed wishing he could start his own holiday shopping.

Now that Hiro was aware of the cat-crisis (as he liked to think of it), his normal patrol route on the rooftops was replaced with searching the streets for more fake Mauvians. There were several cat-alities among the Negaverse, but Hiro wanted confirmation of the theory that others in the city were also affected.
He was making a pass through the park when he spotted a likely suspect. Perched on a park bench, the cat sported a coat of unnatural colours and patterns. Hiro hadn't seen the cat among the Nega-affected. So, chances were this was a senshi-cat? Or had the ripple spread beyond the usual suspects to normal humans? Or even those secretive Knight-types, Hiro's mind reminded him. It was easy to forget them when they didn't seem to be as involved in the Senshi-Nega war.
Slinking up from behind, Hiro overhead the cat's idle comment to himself.
"Oh, I don't know," he responded loudly. "Improved looks, grace and agility beyond human understanding.... Or - how about your a** being kicked in Feline Fighting 101?"
If this was a Negaverse officer that Hiro simply hadn't run across all cat-ified, they would recognise Hiro and therefore no fight would occur. (Maybe. Depended on who they were and how nicely they begged.) Any other faction? Hiro was getting his kicks where he found them.

The masked feline's brows rose as he looked towards the one that answered him. His tail flickering, "Feline Fighting 101 eh? Sounds handy, you wouldn't be offering would you?" The mere mention of fighting seemed to interest him, not perhaps in a I'm going to tear you to pieces way, but as a learning experience.
He tilted his head, noting the features of the others, "I take it you're one of the, real Guardian cats?" He didn't specify what side he thought the other was on, as he looked towards Hiro. A nice little spar seemed to at least interest him but, Niflhel wanted to know who he was going to be fighting. Even if he was going to get his a** kicked, it'd be far better than doing nothing and not knowing how to actually work the whole paws and claws thing.
"I suppose though if improved looks, include being cute and cuddly I can't deny that." He stood up, "Before I even entertain the idea of getting my furry a** handed to me, who do I have the pleasure of meeting?" There was a pause, "I'm Niflhel, of Saturn; by the way." Hiro had ran into one of those Knight-types. The cat seemed to give a slight bow before returning to wait on the name of who he was possibly fighting.

"Huh," was Hiro's response to Niflhel's introduction. His head tiltled sideways, eyeing the Knight-Cat. This could be a good opportunity for getting more information about the secretive faction. Hiro could always pretend it was a friendly spar for as long as the fake-Mauvian couldn't pin-point Hiro as a member of the Negaverse.
"Yes, I'm a real Mauvian. My name is Masahiro. Most people just wind up calling me Hiro, though. I've met one of you before - Camelot? Nice guy, very friendly." All true, of course. Hiro and Camelot had had a nice, friendly chat, exchanging information. Camelot had just thought that Hiro was working with the White Moon senshi. And Hiro was totally fine with letting Niflhel think the same.
"So did many of you Knights end up caught in the energy wave that turned people into cats?" That was just curiosity talking. Nothing of strategic value to be found there, but Hiro did like to indulge himself when he could. It would be nice to get an idea of just how many humans had been affected.
Hiro stretched, arching his back to an unnatural degree. He bounced lightly on his paw pads, tail giving a lash or two. "Why don't you try attacking?" he suggested. "I'll give you some pointers."

Niflhel watched as Hiro spoke, eying him curiously. He nodded in greeting, "Nice to meet you Hiro." His tail flickered "Ah yes Camelot, indeed. Interesting in his own way."
He paused, how many were turned into cats. "To be honest, I don't know. I know of one negaverse officer, um... and two others that were turned into cats." He paused unsure if he should mention they were senshi and knight or just leave it at that.
He stretched, as he looked at Hiro telling him to try attacking. Niflhel nodded, he jumped to the ground. Pondering his best route of attempt, he looked unsure, this wasn't kickboxing.... His nose wrinkled before he ran forward and attempted to hit Hiro in the side.

"Are you trying to headbutt me?" Hiro asked incredulously, as he jumped to the side to avoid Niflhel's charge. He had no way of knowing what the Knight was like as a human, but as a cat, there were dozens of new muscle groups that gave his intentions away. As he moved away, Hiro batted out with one paw - claws retracting, not aiming for anything more serious than a boop on the nose.
"I saw one Negaverse officer get done. Laughed my a** off." Hiro wiped at his eye in memory. Oh Alunite. Hiro still wanted to cackle just thinking of his Eternal-Senshi trainee now just a small, tentative cat.
But no, this was serious time. See? Serious cat is serious. This was his serious catface.
"Try again," Hiro offered. "Try to remember you're a cat, though. You've got paws, claws and teeth. Use them."
Hiro's ears went back in preparation. It wouldn't do for them to be (further) injured. Other than that, he felt pretty safe. This was just a spar, so Niflhel shouldn't wind up dishing out any injuries that would scar. (And if they did, what was one more?)

"Uh.. something like that? Sorry I'm use to kickboxing, this is anything but kickboxing." He'd already learned he couldn't kickbox in this form. It was too hard to do, and he tried not to chuckle to hear Hiro had witnessed one of the negaverse officers get done.
He nodded as Hiro was serious again giving him directions. "Right!" He nodded Paws check, claws check, and teeth double check. Niflhel was thinking before he attempted to bat at Hiro's jaw, claws were sorta retracted. Niflhel was honestly going for more of a bop like Hiro had provided him but, it seemed his claws didn't want to work that way. "Uh... was that better?"

Hiro tilted his head. Well, that was a complication. Bad enough that two-legged humans were trying to move on four paws, but to try and one when one was used to kicking? That didn't really work for cats (apart from Cat Norris, but he was clearly the exception). Niflhel's second attempt was better. Claws only halfway out, but Hiro appreciated the other feline not actually trying to claw Hiro's face off. Because then Hiro would have to get mad and lose his hope of another 'in' with the Knights. "Good," Hiro nodded. "Now, fighting another animal, your main objective is always going to be to... POUNCE!" Hiro was moving already as he yelled the last word. In the air, paws aimed at Niflhel's right shoulder. The pouncing was only really the move involved; the aim was actually to get the enemy on their back and go for soft areas - belly and jugular. He'd see if Niflhel could manage to avoid that fate or not. (And of course, such a tactic was of no use against a human. But Hiro would get to that later.)

Niflhel listened to Hiro as he said good and explained about fighting another animal. Niflhel let out a slightly surprised yelp as he got pounced on. He found himself on his back, however, this was something a little easier to deal with he took his back legs and kicked at Hiro's belly.
Hoping to kick him off, it was probably one of the only things that had been at least similar in training he had. Well as far as the thought process goes. It was the execution that had him questioning the move and if it'd work or not.
