Haku-Our Favorite transvestite will most likely be taken as a female in this anime. It has been done before, are American Editors do not want that gay types of dialogue being exchanged.

Blood, eh no blood for us if it is going to Toonami just think scratches and coughing out sweat and so forth

Sasukes voice is being done by the same guy that did heero from gundam wing while kakashi is going to have spike speigels....

Just because they're the same actors, does not mean the voices are going to be the same, Spike happens to have a cool voice -nods- and as far as Sasuke sounding liek heeo, well, the comedic value rises scenario

Blood and Gore.. do not add artistic value to anything, they're a cop-out for poor quality whenever they're used excessively (see "house of the dead" "Texas Chainsaw Massacre" and pretty much any "horror" genre movie out there). But, to argue the point, Rouroni Kenshin those splurts of silver liquid into the sky were not a show of apreciation over Kaoru's new kimono, they were blood. Samurai Jack is also a good example, have you ever sat donw and watched an episode thinking "Jack is going to fight" those fights are downright more violent than most R rated movies, but they use artistic subtlety by making the enemies robots.

Remember people, these are dumbshit kids the shows are being aired for, personally, I think that "Journeym,an" is a nicely done translation of "Jounin" how many of you can accurately define what a Journeyman is? rankwise, they're equal so who cares what name they use?


Sexy-no-jitsu= fan service, 'nuff said, and they'll more than likely take a Tenchi Muyo route wiht that one and CG in a swimsuit.

On Haku... I take it you never saw the Cowboy Bebop episode "Cowboy Funk" or.. crap.. the episode wiht Gren, where Spike first looks for Julia, that thing was full of gay humor, also, see "The Grim adventures of Billy and MAndy" "Dexter's Lab" hell, even "Powerpuff Girls" it's all in subtlety. Are they going to come out and say "Hi, I'm Haku, I'm a guy in a dress" ? no, they['re going to hint at it, and it's up to viewers wiht half a braincell to figure it out.

whoa whoa, im not saying you should pettition against it, im saying you shouldnt market stuff like this to the younger kids. ive already got a 6 year old brother that broke his blinds b/c he thought he was spider-man.

also about the samurai jack comment. yeah i loved samurai jack, it was more violent then most of the movies i have, but the thing is, your thinking like someone who actually knows whats going on in the show. believe me, my brother loved jack too. but all he knew was that jack was fighting against robots and evil spirits.

Thing is dumb little kids who dont know any better will watch naruto and think 'Im a ninja' and do stupid stunts like throw sharp objects at eachother. or try to jump from a place to a long distance away and break their legs while their at it, also immagine the law suits.

im also not relishing the thought of sitting through a half an hour of "OMG SASUKE SO CUUUTEEE" i have to endure 3 of the most annoying girls on the planet sitting 5 seats away from eachother on the bus while screaming at eachother about inu yasha. this morning they were meowing at eachother. yes, meowing. so you can understand that i dont want 10 year olds gushing over this and that.

Sometimes i love the dubbing as long as they do a good job of it (ex cowboy bebop) but sometimes they do such a horrible job of it, it makes me shudder.

i dont know if i like the new naruto or not but if it is good, ill watch it everyday. but if its horrible, im going to have a hell of a time trying to find the raw, and i dont have the money to buy the dvds.

thats the thing. alot of parents rely on tv to teach their kids while their out at work

im just gonna sit back and watch the injury numbers wrack up. you cant stop it but im sure as hell gonna try to prevent my brother from doing anything stupid.
