New Guy alert! (That's Me.) So yeh I finally joined a guild. Hooray for me.

If any of you are interested, check some of my most recent posts in a the "Link is Gay" topic. I was eventually reported by these SOB's and banned from the topic. See if you think I did what they said I did and if I deserved it or if you think they are ignorant and just got mad and reported me because I didn't jump on the bandwagon. Last time I checked, this was a site where you could post your opinions freely or so I thought. Apparently, if you go against the majority on a controversial subject such as this, you get the axe (or ban in this case). Anyway, nice to be with people who can think for themselves. mrgreen

But more seriously, Gaia does not promise everyone the ability to post their opinions freely. They set up a set of restrictions in their Rules and Terms of Service in how they can express it. It's their website and their rules, even if they are enforced questionably from time to time.

I've been threatened with bans twice. The first time was for tweaking legendary lefty ex-mod danjel for some of the more absurd content he posted some time ago (prisonplanet.com conspiracy stuff about RFID tags in $20 bills. Somehow I had the nerve to keep linking to that thread and suggest that it was not a way to be a respected member of EDP twisted ). The other time was for the original version of my signature line image. I mostly get complements for it but Dri thought it a little too risque for Gaia.

I see. On this certain topic I thought I DID stay within the guidelines of the topic. I just didn't agree with the majority. Ah well. No harm done to me. I still sleep at night. Quite well I might add. cool
