Quote: Hey. Go find Lizzy, I think she needs your help. Panic was the first thing that fell over Mot upon receiving the text. He wasn't in his room when he'd received it. He'd been downtown, walking around for no good reason other than enjoying being back at Amity. What had happened to Lizzy? And why was Mac asking him to help instead of helping her himself? Mot ran from where he was back to Amity, sending text message after text message trying to get a hold of Lizzy. Was her phone off? Why wasn't she replying? The only thing he could think to do was try her dorm room. He hurried up the stairs of the Demon Dorms, through the halls and to her room. He knocked at the door continuously, biting his lip and waiting for a response. "Lizzy? Lizzy are you okay?"... "Hello?"

Lizzy was not in her room, nor was her eyephone turned on; sure, she spent a good deal of her time in Shun's room staring at the screen, hoping to see a message from Mac. However, she soon realized that the text would never come, and turned off her phone in pure frustration and heartache - that didn't make her feel any better, however.
Soon enough, she left Shun's place to head back home, deciding that she needed some alone time. Her eyes were red and puffy from crying, her chest hurt and her feet felt heavy.
Mot was, surprisingly, not a welcome sight.
"... Mot?" Her voice was soft and strained, having cried herself hoarse earlier, and besides, she was exhausted, "What are you doing here?"

Mot turned when he heard the soft yet strained voice of Lizzy, his expression wrought with worry. "Lizzy?!" The boil rushed over, noting how red and puffy her eyes were. "What happened? Are you okay?" His brows knit together, worriedly looking the ghoul over.
"I got the text and I was so worried.."

She paused, realizing how terrible she must look, and quickly looked down at her feet, "I... Um..." Another pause, "... What text?"

"Mac texted me. He said you needed help.." Mot frowned. He was scared to touch her. She seemed.. so different. He felt like even trying might cause her to crumble to pieces.
"You look upset Lizzy. Please tell me what's wrong?"

"Mac texted you?" She stared at Mot in disbelief, her puffy eyes widening before she teared up. Immediately, she closed her eyes, causing tears to stream down her cheeks as she laughed bitterly, bringing her hands to cover her face, "Mac texted you... I... I... Why... Would he even do that? It doesn't make sense..."

Lizzy was crying.
Lizzy was crying.
LIZZY IS CRYING?!?!?!!
Mot went into panic mode, looking around nervously. Oh jack Oh Jack. What do you do when they cry? Chocolates? Was that the standard cure for tears? Ah but he didn't have chocolates!? Um.. Uh...
Mot pulled Lizzy into a sudden hug, holding her head to his chest. "LIzzy, what? It..it's okay? Uh..." WHAT DO?!
Mot decided not to talk after all. Maybe that was best?

"It's not okay," She didn't return the hug; she was much too tired and frustrated with everything to pretend that she was fine, "Mac broke up with me... And then he texted you to come help me?"
Her whole body shook with every sob; being with Shun had finally calmed her down, and just one harmless comment triggered her tears again... She didn't mean to be grumpy, but she couldn't help it. She just wanted to flip a table right now.
"WHAT IS HE THINKING?" Her voice was muffled, her face buried in Mot's chest, her hands balled into fists by her side, "I FEEL LIKE I DON'T KNOW HIM ANYMORE."

Mac broke up with her? That was out of left field. Completely. His first thought; Why? Mac seemed so in love. Lizzy was just so wonderful. So why?
Mot held her tighter as she sobbed, looking toward her door. Maybe he should get her inside?
"I'm sorry." He apologized, feeling badly for having said anything at all. "Um.. uh.." He let her go, and pointed to her room. "S..so you aren't out here.. crying.."

"Don't be..." She muttered, swaying on the spot the moment Mot released her from the hug, feeling dizzy all of a sudden as she rubbed her eyes, "It wasn't your fault... Thank you... For coming... I appreci-"
Wobble wobble.
"-ate it." She whispered before crumpling to the ground.

"Lizzy!?" Mot managed to catch her under her arms before she hit the floor completely. He fell to his knees to get to her level, cradling her upper half in his arms. "Lizzy??" Mot's brows furrowed worriedly. She was so upset that she collapsed. What did Mac do to her?
His heart pounded in his chest. Looking to the door, then back to Lizzy, he searched her pocket to find her room key. Lucky for him he found it soon enough. He'd hate to be seen as indecent for searching her like this.
Mot slipped the keys in his mouth first, scooping Lizzy up into his arms Princess Style. With some careful yet awkward maneuvering, he took the keys from his mouth and unlocked her door. Slipping inside the room, he headed straight for her bed to lay her down. For now? He let her be. He went back to the door to grab the keys again, closed it and..
Waited.

It was fun for a little while, playing house...but it turns out, playing with you - and dating you - is more like babysitting.
Lies.
So I'm done playing.
Why are you telling me all these lies? Those are lies, right?
I'm done with you.
"W-Why...?" She murmured, curling up in her bed as the tears started to flow again, her whole body shaking as she tossed and turned in her sleep, like she was struggling to wake up but couldn't; she was so tired... Maybe she should just sleep forever. It's not like Mac would care; he had treated their relationship as a game, after all.
She wasn't important to him at all.

While Lizzy slept, Mot had been at a loss at what to do. He couldn't leave her. Not knowing how sad she had been. Not until he knew she would be okay. In the meantime, he played with any rampant mini pets that may have come through the closet, or played with his phone.
By the time Lizzy stirred, he'd been sitting with his back to the bed, having a staring competition with a minipet.
He blinked with surprise as she seemed to cry in her sleep, sitting up on his knees and turning to face the sleeping ghoul. He hated to wake her up but..
Mot brought a hand to her shoulder, shaking her gently. "Lizzy?"

Jimmy won the staring contest - he had no eyes in his skeletal form.
"Mac?" She sounded hopeful, and for a moment, thought that she was waking up from some horrible, extended nightmare as a result of stress. However, as she blinked and wiped away the tears blurring her vision, she quickly realized that it was not Mac.
She couldn't help the brief disappointed look on her face.
"Mot..." She muttered, looking at the boil, "I... What happened...?"

Mac?
Mot furrowed his brow, and felt like something inside died when she seemed disappointed that it was him with her, and not Mac.
"...You blacked out." Mot pointed out, scratching his neck. So then, she was upset because mac broke up with her. It was obviously not mutual. But why did Mac do it? Maybe he'd have to ask. "Sorry.. I stuck around. I was just worried."
