After their first patrol together, Leto and Alunite had decided that they would make it a routine thing. You know, since he mentioned being lonely- and Leto was a sucker for a cute, lonely boy who enjoyed her company.
But now Leto was a cat... And being a cat meant she really couldn't do much patrolling. But that didn't mean she was about to stand him up. He'd understand right? Maybe she could tag along as a helpful distraction while he drained energy so she could at least get a taste of what she so desperately missed since turning into a cat.
So regardless of her new-found fur and tail, she was pacing their usual meeting place as she waited for his arrival.

This was, perhaps, absolute irony. He had wanted to call her, but that seemed unsafe - the only way of communication in between them was their cellphones... And really, call him paranoid, but it was probably unsafe to go into details on something that was very much unprotected.
That, and he didn't want to scratch up his phone with claws...
So he'd settled with showing up at the appointed time, hoping that she'd understand - and wouldn't laugh too much.
Oh, if he only knew... Through the mutual revelation was about to come - Alunite dropped from the roof with a still clumsy balance, sliding off the dumpster he had intended to balance on with a screech that sounded more like hiss than anything else, along with the non-so-lovely sound of claws on metal.
"Ow ! OWWW ! DAMNIT !"
Then a thud in the alley behind her, with some more snarling for good mesure. It took a few seconds before he emerged - very much at eye level with her, all black and pink fur with familiar eclipse patterns, still all puffed up from his non-controlled fall.
And stopped dead on his tracks when he saw her. Really... No, really. This cat felt corrupted, had freaking camo fur, and was right at their meeting spot. There was no way it wasn't Leto.
"You've got to be kidding me..."

Leto's ears perked when she heard the sound of a cat screeching and hissing, followed by a crash. She winced at the sound of claws on metal, her eyes shutting at the high pitched noise. She still wasn't used to being able to hear so damn well.
Then there was a voice... A voice that was all too familiar. "Alunite? Is that you?" She opened her eyes to look around. It couldn't be him, she couldn't sense his strong Eternal aura at all.
When she finally turned at the sound of his voice, her eyes widened nearly to be as big as saucers. There was no chance that the purple and pink furred cat standing in front of her was anyone but Alunite. She took a few slow steps towards him, head lowered and tail dragging along the ground, still vary weary just in case it actually wasn't him after-all.
When she approached him, she sniffed at him a few times and flattened her ears against her head. "Alunite?" Her voice was hushed when she questioned the cat in front of her.

He sniffed at her right back, and couldn't say that there was any familiarity in the smell at all - it wasn't like they'd spent time previously sniffing each other. But she felt right.
"Leto ?" He whispered back. "Gods, this is ridiculous... You too ?" His tail gave a few annoyed back and forths before he wandered back toward the alley, where the darkness would cloak then both, and sat there. "There's more and more cats popping up... Do you have any idea how this happened ?"

She simply nodded in response to his questioning who she was.
"Ridiculous is pretty much the understatement of the century," she said with a sigh and followed Alunite into the alley.
Rather than sitting she flopped onto the ground and stretched herself out, letting out a yawn and rolling half onto her back. She looked up at him, deep red eyes round and curious.
"Not a clue. Only myself and one other Dark Mirror Senshi got turned. I've sent one of 'em to find Requiem to find Ares and see if she can help..." A paw moved to catch his tail while she spoke.
"Is it just Senshi, or are your Officers turned into cats as well?"

Another dark mirror got it too, uh ? Well. This certainly wasn't good news. They weren't all that numerous to begin with. Neither were negaverse senshi, but on a technical level he had the whole negaverse.
"I havn't been able to figure out most of anything so far. Beside the fact that some senshi b***h is stalking my sister." Unhappy ? Just a little bit.
"I heard of some officiers being cats as well... And some of the white moon too. I even ran into a cat with no aura at all... so I assume she was a civilian. So either it's not a white moon thing, or they really, really ******** up."
Business as usual, right ?

Leto wrinkled her nose at the mention of a Senshi stalking his sibling. "Like... A Senshi Senshi, or a cat-turned-Senshi is stalking her?" Either way, Leto would be pissed if she were Alunite. "Should kick her a** regardless..." she muttered before grabbing his tail between both of her paws and alternating between licking and chewing on it. She couldn't help it! It was just so damn fluffy.
"Leave it to the White Moon to ******** up. I guess it could be worse. I'd rather be a cat than dead." She rolled slightly so she was more on her back, her hind paws in the air as she gripped his tail and looked at him upsidedown.
She flashed him as much of a grin as she could muster up as a cat, "Sorry, can't help it."
