The salty air tingled his nose and sent a pleasant shudder through his body. Truly the sea was his calling, since he felt right at home on the beach despite how cold it was. He sat upon a log, staring at the gentle waves. His black mane blew in the wind that always seemed present at the beach but he didn't care.Mamoru breathed deeper and then sighed a happy sigh before he finally got off the rotting log and stepped into the sand. It was cold between his toes, but it was a good kind of cold. As long as he didn't get wet he could deal with it. Gentle brown eyes gazed upon the water as he started walking down the beach. wincing when he stepped on something he looked down and arched a brow, starting to dig in the sand. "Oh, it's a shell!" He picked it up with his teeth and put it down on top of the sand, spitting out grains that got stuck to his tongue and teeth. "Bleeeeh..."
It was a conch shell, but it had spikes on it. "I think I'll make a necklace from it!" Looking around, he saw some sea weed and grinned a bit. "The seaweed will act as the string and the pouch for more shells..." Thinking to himself wasn't a strong suit.
