Rolled a One: Ice Field: The temperature of the stadium suddenly drops several degrees (just enough so breath was visual and winter-wear is needed) as the stadium floor shifts for the upcoming battle. The floor turns into extremely slick ice which makes maneuverability, even simply standing, difficult. Randomly placed crystal-like pillars reach skyward from the frozen water, reflecting the florescent lights to all sides of the battle-field. This field gives a 25 HP attack boost to ICE type attacks.

Genesis sighed, watching as the randomized Stadium turned to one of ice. Her breath fell like smoke from her lips, and disappeared soon after, leaving her chilled and impatient. A younger trainer she had battled the other day had requested a rematch and, seeing the determination on her face, accepted it. She cared little whether Leto won or lost, but it would be good to tire up some of her explosive energy, and battle experience was always something to be gained.
"Ready?" she asked as they waited for their opponents.
"Rattata!" Leto replied, although, at the moment, she remained ignorant of the fact that her enemy now would be the same as the day before.

After her first ever battle and lose yesterday to this nameless trainer, Abby challenged her to a rematch. She had to regain her honor and self esteem but more then that she wanted to return the favor, she wanted to make this trainer pay for hurting the poor Rattata she used yesterday and would be using again today. It seemed he wanted a rematch too. He was just a rental but she felt a kinship with him. As it grew colder in the arena Abby zipped up her sweater, "The field isn't on our side today." she mumbled to herself then looked at her compassion where determination burning in her eyes. We're Ready!"
The rental Rattata chattered a "Ta!" He glared down at the Rattata from yesterday.

Genesis nodded, acknowledging their words. "Tail Whip!" she said quickly. They had battled once before, and for that reason she saw no need to ease into it now.
Leto returned the glare with a chipper look, her large eyes unblinking. As a chipper young rat, she saw no reason to be angry... until she got hit, that is.
Hearing her trainer's command, she jumped forward, allowing the momentum to skate her across the ice, before she reached the other and whapped him with her tail.

Abby Gave a nod to the other trainer as a greeting and got right into fight mode. "Shake it off Rattata and use Toxic!"
He took the hit gladly so that she was nice and close when he opened his mouth to spew the toxic liquid all over her.

"Try to stop it!" Genesis called across the field, glad the toxic had missed, "Ice Beam!"
Leto squeaked, rushing away when she heard the other's trainer speak. When she was at a safe enough distance to avoid his poisonous attack, she tried to aim a beam of cold, white ice towards him.

"Dodge it! and try it again." Abby yelled out but as she did he already was.
The rental had kicked off the cold icy ground to avoid the ice beam, it worked wonderfully and now her was right above her and let move acid fly.

"Again!" Genesis ordered, watching the course of the battle and trying to gauge how much it would affect the Pokémon.
Leto gagged in disgust as the attack hit her. She tried to wipe it off and was, thankfully, somewhat successful. When she thought herself relatively clean, she tried another Ice Beam.

The ice hit his lower half but it wasn't that thick. When he hit the ground it all broke off, he stood ready for the next attack.

Leto leaped to safety, and ear tilted back to search for the sound of Genesis' voice. She heard none, and assumed it to mean her trainer wanted her to continue what she was doing. She tried to aim another Ice Beam.

Leto, hearing no noise of complain or reprimand from her trainer, continued to keep up her Ice Beam. It froze the poisonous liquid that spewed from her enemy's lips and was chilling her whiskers with how long she had to keep it up, and she hoped she'd be able to stop soon.
