She didn't want to move from her spot. It was a very cozy spot, although she was huddled to the side of the hallway, pressing against the wall as she hugged her legs to her chest, forehead resting on her knees. She had resorted to sobbing softly, unwilling to disturb anyone from the reaper dorms, but unwilling to move as well... After all, maybe Mac would get worried. Maybe Mac would suddenly not see their relationship as a game. Maybe Mac would realize that she meant as much to him as he does to her. Maybe Mac would come get her and she could get him to carry her back to his room.
Maybe Mac would-
But he probably wouldn't... And that thought caused her to cry harder, her nails digging into her skin.

Shun was on his way back to his room after a trip to the grocery. He had picked up a few things to prepare himself some dinner more or less. Everything seemed to be normal as he scaled the stairs. That is, until he heard the soft sounds coming from the hallway just before his own floor. They sounded like quiet little sniffles and sobs.
Furrowing his brow, he peeked through the hall to see what was going on. To his surprise, he saw a familiar pink haired demon huddled down against the wall, crying.
This was the floor Mac, Mot, and Hel all resided on. He could only assume her current state had something to do with one of those three. Frowning, he slowly and silently approached her before crouching down by the demon.
"Oi. What's wrong?" he asked.
The reaper didn't bother asking if she was alright. Obviously, she was not.

When she heard footsteps heading towards her, she perked up and quickly looked up, half expecting Mac to be heading for her with open arms, ready to pick her up. Thus, when she saw that it was only Shun, her face fell and she felt that dull ache in her chest again, causing her to whimper as she buried her face back in her knees.
She muttered something in reply when she was asked a question, but it was too muffled to be heard. Immediate after answering though, her whole body started to shake as she started to sob again.

Whatever she had just tried to tell him, he did not understand. It apparently just made her worse though, as she began to shake and sob harder. Grimacing, he looked down the hall, towards where the three reapers were. Should he fetch one of them? Granted, he didn't know which of the three was the one responsible for this. For all he knew, it could have been all of them.
"Deep breaths, Lizzy," he said softly before tentatively reaching out for her arm, "Come on up stairs with me. Maybe some tea will help you relax."
It wasn't generally within his nature to act as the comforter. However, it did disturb him to see the spider demon in this state.

She allowed Shun to pick her up by the arm, only because a small big part of her knew that if left alone, she would probably just camp there for the next day, just to see if Mac would come for her. Standing up, she refused to look up at him, choosing to stare at the floor instead.
"Kay," She muttered before zombie-ing after Shun. She might also had subtly looked wistfully at Mac's door when they walked past it.

This was really odd behavior for the spider demon. Frowning, Shun silently lead her towards up the stairs and to his room. He didn't know what to say, especially since he didn't know what was bothering her right now. Once he unlocked the door, he motioned her in.
"Go ahead and have a seat. I'll get the water going," he uttered while he moved to set his bag of goods down and to set a pot onto his heater to let it boil.
Bent-Tail perked up as they entered, noticing the friendly pink haired girl. But something was wrong! Quickly, he scurried over towards her, stopping to stare up curiously. He gave a squeak, then waved sort of.

Tea... That reminded her of Xiu... Maybe she should... She should talk to her about Roch... Anything to keep her mind off-
"Thank you," She managed to look up at Shun, her expression one filled with gratitude; she might not be smiling, but she was kind of glad that it was Shun who found her and not Hel or Mot. When Bent-Tail came to her, she managed a smile that did not reach her eyes before bending over and picking the minipet up, letting him sit on the palm of her hand as she gently stroke him between his ears.

While waiting for the water to boil, Shun went ahead and unpacked the things he had bought. It was mostly some vegetables and some meat. He was still quiet for the time being, trying to think of what to say. That, and he was letting Lizzy have a bit of time to potentially cool down.
Bent-Tail leaned into her hand as she gently stroked him. After a few, he leaned down to nuzzle into her palm. Maybe if he acted extra cute, he can get a bigger smile out of her! Then all will be well.
The pot began to whistle at this point, in which the Reaper went to take it off the heater to pour into two cups. Once they were filled, he took them and walked over towards the demon, offering her one.
"Now..let's try this again. What happened? If you'd rather not say, that's fine. I would just like to know the reason behind the tears coming from friend."

Sadly, Bent-Tail would have to settle with her half-smile; she just couldn't bring herself to smile right now, when all she wanted to do was to cry. She placed the minipet on her shoulder before taking the offered cup with a brief nod; the cup was warm, which was delightful, but then it reminded her of something else - someone - which caused her eyes to be filled with tears again.
Her tea now had an extra ingredient - tears.
"Mac and I broke up," She would usually be more excited and happy at being called a friend by Shun, and would probably tease him about it, but she just wasn't in the mood right now.

With his cup in hand, Shun went over to seat himself onto his bed, taking a sip as he awaited any sort of answer from Lizzy.
"You did?" he frowned before pausing, "What for?"
Mac was not something he really cared about, but last he had seen or heard, the two were doing well. In any case, this would explain why the spider demon was in her current state. If Mitsu had to part with him for any reason.. he wasn't quite sure how he would react. It wasn't really something he wished to think about.
The little mouse perched upon her shoulder before sniffing towards her face. Salty liquid was rolling down her face. This did not seem like a good thing.

"... Things weren't working out," She replied monotonously, rolling the cup of warm tea between her hands, trying to choose her words carefully, "So... We... We..." She tensed up, closing her eyes as she quickly took a sip of tea to distract herself, before gasping at how hot it was and then tearing up all over again.

That was a pretty blanket term. Considering this and how distressed she was, Shun made the guess she wasn't too willing to go into details.
"Fair enough. You don't have to say anything further," he said quietly before taking another drink of tea. A part of him wondered if this was not a mutual deal, considering how upset she was. Then again, he supposed it was still possible she'd feel this way regardless. He didn't know a lot of these things.
"Would you like something to eat? I was going to make some dinner. I should have enough for several servings. If not, there's the guitar," he said while motioning towards the instrument by the wall. Normally he would not offer his instrument up for anyone, but she seemed like she could use it perhaps. Generally, for himself, it helped clear the mind.
Basically, he didn't really have any words of comfort. But he was trying through other means.

She appreciated that part of Shun, since she really did not want to talk about it; maybe at a later date, she would be able to talk about it without melting into a sobbing mess, but for now...? She would rather not talk about it, or discuss it.
"That would be nice," She nodded at his offer of food, mildly surprised that he could cook; she wasn't hungry, but perhaps having something in her stomach would help her calm down. Her gaze lingered on the guitar for a while before she managed a small smile, "Ah, no... That is alright..."
They say that when you're heartbroken, every love song seemed to be talking about you. She could think of several already, but playing those would make it obvious that Mac did the dumping - which was something that would probably make her more upset. Besides, she wasn't sure if she wanted anyone to know that - she still couldn't believe that Mac was so harsh. That he didn't care about her or their relationship...

Nodding quietly, he checked on the rice cooker before turning it off. He had gotten that much ready before hand. Mostly, he just needed to prepare the rest of the things now.
"It shouldn't take too long," he said while moving the pot off of the heater to place a medium sized wok on top. He didn't put anything in it just yet as he went into the bathroom to wash his hands quickly. Once he came back out, Shun started to cut up the meats and vegetables.
When that was all prepared, he went ahead and took some seasonings, the cut up ingredients, and the rice and dumped them into the wok to fry. After a few more minutes, he turned off the electric heater. The Reaper grabbed two bowls and spoons and scooped some of the fried rice out into them.
"Here you go," he said quietly while offering Lizzy a bowl, "I hope you don't mind fried rice."

Lizzy wanted as Shun started to cook, wondering if her lack of ability to cook had anything to do with why Mac treated their relationship like a game; maybe if she was better at more things, he would actually take her seriously.
"It's better than what I can make," She offered him a small smile before taking the bowl, looking around for a place to put down the cup, settling for the desk, "I appreciate it. A lot. Thank you... I'm just... Really out of it right now."
