Willow had an assignment to scare herself plus her normal homework. Her tail flickered as she strutted around her room considering how to do that 'without' property damage. Occasionally raking around her little rock garden she was debating on the best way to do the assignment.

There were ways she could scare herself without having to use the mirror all she had to do was think about the field trip and the trials they faced there. The soulless eyes... and that smile.... Willow shivered just thinking about it as her eyes seemed to glaze over with the idea.

Hm.... the soulless ones... she needed.... The tigers eyes flickered to her mirror and then looking around, the idea perhaps wasn't a bad one... though would the theater teacher approve of it? She had no clue. Granted the face itself...

She wasn't sure she could actually manage to get the soulless look. Walking over to the mirror she sat down in front of it trying to produce the face... However, the more she tried the weirder faces she produced, some with kitten eyes of doom others ended up just looking like she'd gotten a hold of some cider. The closest she could produce though, didn't have the soulless effect that the little creature held. It was somewhat disheartening for the tigress as she sat there staring at the mirror thinking.

"How to scare myself......" She was pondering, as she got up and walked around some more, shifting into her natural form as she padded around the perimeter of the room. Tail swishing in irritation she couldn't figure out how to do something so simple as to scare herself. There was a pause as she glanced at herself in the mirror and at the distance between. It could work; however, she couldn't actually break her own mirror... it was a rule for the assignment. The tiger's eyes narrowed as she considered the task.

It would have to be controlled and her timing and landing would have to be just right. Or else it perhaps wouldn't work... not without potentially hurting herself and breaking something. So it was back to the drawing board the tiger sat there looking. Another thought soon floated through her head, she'd managed a crazy eye look earlier. The idea started to blossom as she thought more about what she could do with the crazy eyes.

The Byakko started chuckling, at first it sounded lame. The second try sounded a little more... off. However the third try sounded much like a manic laugh a doctor would use. The tigress grinned as she got up and crept around close to the mirror again, ruffling her fur and puffing up a bit as she slinked in front of it her lips curled to produce her fangs.

Her eyes managed to go back to the crazy eye look and then a hearty chuckle started to rumble from her bosom before turning into an all out laugh sitting on her hindquarters the tiger spread her paws out as if an evil, genius plan had just worked. She was starting to actually creep herself out before she fell back to four legs and stared at herself in the mirror, not scary enough....

The problem was that it lacked something... the whole idea needed some help. However, without being able to use her fear the tigress wasn't sure how well she was going to do... This was a problem and once again she started to pace and ponder and ponder and pace. Ice blue eyes were glancing at her reflection in the mirror. This would be a lot easier with a partner, was the thought that crossed her mind. However, the crazy laugh worked for her, it just needed that little extra boost. Perhaps a new attempt at a roar as she finished laughing would do the trick? Of course the ghost thought back to class and when the mirror she had been assigned to use there had broken because she got the wrong pitch.

"I have to get the right pitch or I'll be in sooo much trouble." Willow thought as she shifted and shook out her fur before puffing up again and trying to look fierce. Something the humans would be afraid of, a few trial hisses and the tigress tried again chuckling at first. Then laughing sitting on her hindquarters... Actually if someone were to come in they'd probably be pretty mortified by now anyways.

It was when she took the dramatic pause staring in her crazy eyes that she let out a bellowing roar of a deeper sound this time at the mirror, her front legs somewhat over her head and claws flared with the look of some psychotic human killer.

That had to done it. The tigress fell backwards in fright her fur now fluffed out because she'd actually managed a look that even she wouldn't want to meet.
