A return to that dreaded place. The death hunter training course. Death sweeper. Or as he thought of it, the place where you go to painfully die over and over like some sick masochist freak and Caelius probably watched your failed attempts while eating popcorn and laughing. As he approached he figured that he had to keep at in if he wanted to you know, actually get better. Too bad that meant he was probably going to die over and over again this time too. Telling the ones operating the golems that he was going to be doing this for a while they shrugged. If a trainee wanted to die a lot, that ws fine by them. They just made sure the golems were ready.
Waking in the first golem of the day it wasn’t very long before that blinding flash of pain and then-silence. He’d died on his first try. If that wasn’t a hint, he didn’t know what was. But he had to keep going, or well, his ego and Dis, would b***h at him. And after Marcus had discovered the wonders of Dis bitchings well, just best to avoid them if he could

Second Golem, hopefully lasting longer than the first. Which, surprisingly, it did. But he was still in pain as the first tile gave him some nice burns and s**t. Half dead on the first tile. Now wasn’t that awesome. In pain, Marcus sighed in resentment. What had made him to this again? Oh right, his ******** pride. Still, one tile and he was still alive. Could have been worse.

And there he went again. He figured as he ‘died’ in agony had he not picked the shitty tile the first time he would have survived, but ******** no. He had died a second time. It was going to be a long time before he beat this thing, or rather till he survive up until the fifth tile. He kept dying on the third at best. So much for and moon hunter endurance

******** you so much self was what Marcus was thinking as he woke up a third time now in the golem ready for another round of death sweeper. ******** ******** he was getting tired of this bullshit. First he died just after he started his first run and the second had just been a trip down agony aisle. He had a bit of a hate boner for this place probably. Or maybe he was becoming a masochist. Glutton for punishment. Whatever the reason, Marcus still found himself with a mental string of curses as he died on the first tile again. How many times had he died on the first tile now? Five total? He had no idea but s**t was ridiculous.

AUGH THIS WAS SUCH BULL s**t. As he got up for a fourth time and stepped onto a tile pain shot up his senses. He was alive but in pain. The sick ******** who designed this place- God why? Dr. H was it you? You sadist. Creepy sadist from the foulest pits of a hell and worse than nay halloweener. Pain aside, he was still alive. If he was lucky he might ‘live’. Sadly, Marcus wasn’t lucky in the slightest. Lady Luck had pretty much bitchslapped him, robbed him blind, and then leave a flaming pile of dog s**t on his front porch. Luck was a cruel mistress indeed.

What was this? As he stepped onto the tile, there was no pain, no death. Nothing came to threaten his golem wellbeing. God have mercy he had gotten to the next tile. Two tiles down, three to go. Sadly, Marcus was betting that the next tile was going to kill him. Probably in a painful matter. Why? Because he never survived tile number three. Ever. It was his curse to end the game at three it seemed, and from how his luck had been paying out, this was going to hold true very very shortly.

And what did he say? Another step and death got him again. Third tile, the bane of his attempts. No luck was to be had as he woke up and requested to go in for another round. Maybe he would survive. Maybe. If luck stopped being a huge b***h.

OH SWEET BABY JESUS YES. First tile and nothing happened to him. No pain, no death, just that safe painless tile of mystery. Thank you god. Now… to keep this up for the next four.

AHahaha Yeah. Like living was an option on the death hunter course. His luck was used on that first tile as death took him and sent him back to the golem room. So much pain, Marcus figured he was done.

Five tries, and the furthest he got was to the third tile before he died painfully. Time to go back to the dorms, and sleep.
