A simple game of luck. The scene is the School Hallway, and a rather... gross mess that was once your lunch. After dropping it, it's made a gross splatter that will begin to stain. In order to avoid getting in trouble, go get a cleaning kit to clean up the mess!
If you are lucky.. You might walk away with a minipet! If not... the gnomes come and well, that's not very pleasant.
Roll 1d100 each stage
STAGE 1: Make sure the gnomes have not spotted to leaving the scene of the crime!
1-30: Fail, you were caught and had dirty water dumped on you.
31-100: Pass, No one has seen you on your way to the supply closet.
STAGE 2: Pick your cleaning kit and hope you have all the supplies! (And still not caught)
1-40: Fail, you grabbed the wrong stuff and the gnomes are by the mess, better book it!
41-70: Pass! Picked the right kit, and no one is hanging by the mess
71-100: Fail, You made so much noise picking up your kit, you were caught. You were thrown into the other bathroom.
STAGE 3
1-10: PASS! Cleaned up the mess and got off scott free!
11-90: Fail, you were caught and the gnomes made you clean up the mess... after making it bigger.
91-100: PASS! Cleaned up the mess and got off scott free!
If you pass each stage QUOTE. me.
You may try up to twice a day.
Include you minipet SN if you win.
You don't get to pick the kit.
Actions can be RPed out with students or quest students, I don't care. But... try a least a few lines.
The day rolls over at site reset.
Game ends the 30th
IF YOU HAVE OVER 6 CLEANING KITS, you can play and in theory win, BUT YOU WILL NOT GET A KIT. This game is to help those not quick enough to get them at restock. And because Maru is super nice. To go with that:

It had to be by some miracle that Zar managed to escape the messy disaster that was the result of his own clumsiness. He supposed just sometimes you got away with having hooves. However rarely. He slunk over to the supply closet, determined to get there before the gnomes got wind of it.
RESULT: PASS

But it figured that he would slip up at the easy part. Reaching up for one of the cleaning kits within, he managed to snag a mop with a wing, which in turn nudged a cloth, which in turn knocked off a bottle, which landed with a /loud/ clatter in one of the metal buckets for said mop. He froze dead, hoping no one heard him. But they had. With a resigned sigh, he was hustled off.
RESULT: FAIL

Xander didn't know how he could have possibly have managed to drop his platter of food onto the floor...but there it was. He watched as it slowly began to seep into the floor and stain. Panic began to grip at him with steely cold fingers in the pit of his stomach, and he slowly turned his head left and right, to see if anybody had witnessed the mishap.
The coast appeared to be clear, so he began a slow shuffle away from the scene of the accident, in search of something to clean the mess up with.

It took a fair amount of time to find his way to the closet full of cleaning supplies. Once there, however, he wasted no time in reaching out to grab a kit. That aught to do the trick.
Ducking back out of the closet slowly, kit clung tightly to his chest, he began shuffling his way back over towards the mess. At the rate he was going, however, he somewhat doubted he'd make it there before getting caught.
Somehow, incredibly, nobody seemed to take any notice. So far.

It was inevitable. He was just too slow!
As he made his way back towards the mess, others finally began to notice, and he was apprehended by the gnomes.
Resigned to his punishment, he slumped to the ground to clean up the mess....plus the extra that the gnomes saw fit to add.

Mairead just stared at the inky mess and sighed. Who knew squished squid could stain so well? Shaking her head, she quickly looked around for any gnomes. So far her luck was holding up! In a better mood already, she she gleefully trots over to the nearby cleaning closet.

Opening the closet, Mairead could only stare at the vast assortment of cleaning supplies. She had no idea there could be so many choices! She chewed on her lip, scanning the rows upon rows of kits. Finally, she just closed her eyes and blindly reached in. "I hope this does the trick. Those gnomes are already onto me enough for getting seawater everywhere." She knelt down and began scrubbing away at the remains of her lunch. It seemed to be working! The ink was slowly fading.

Lady Luck chose just that moment to vanish. Mairead failed to notice that the seawater from her hair was dripping into the cleaning fluids, causing an . . . interesting . . . reaction. As she started to wonder when the floors had been painted a neon pink, a posse of gnomes descended upon her. They berated her for the puddles of seawater, again, and shoved another bottle of cleaner into her hands. Sighing, Mairead began the arduous task of cleaning up the mess.

It had been a hectic day - new student, new to halloweentown, new to socialising, Acheron was feeling just a little bit stressed. Of course, it didn't show. He was a demon - he would never stoop so low as to look flustered. He was a little...jumpy, though, so when he clipped his spine on a locker he flinched, lunch clattering to the floor. Raw fish eggs. EVERYWHERE.
He almost lost composure and groaned. Almost.

Inspiration struck! ....Quite literally, actually. As he'd dropped his lunch the box had fallen heavily on his foot. He drew it up with a pained hiss, spinning a little - a supply closet! A distinctly predatory grin crossed his features. Perfect...
Or at least it would have been, except that foot had gone slightly numb and the clattering of the falling objects was enough to deafen even the wrinkled gnome who dragged him out.

Inside, Mort tried his best not to make noise, but . . . what are all these things doing in a closet? Pull one thing out, and suddenly it was like an avalanche! The gnomes came in soon enough and, without much defiance, the poor boil was tossed into a bathroom.

As if waking up late for Screamology 101 wasn't bad enough, now the tasty dish I had been wanting to call lunch lay upturned on the floor. Just great. I certainly wasn't in the mood for cafeteria food, not today, not ever. Now I know I passed a cleaning kit on my way here; where was she again?

Awesome! The gnomes aren't on to me quite yet. :twitchy eyes: That cute little blue kit is TOO CUTE. I almost feel too bad to make it clean up after me, but I need some serious help if this isn't going to leave a stain and fast!
