This night had taken ridiculous turns toward the point on insanity. It was just so weird to know that Beniotite was a cat, a cat. Being in the wars really sucked majorly sometimes. Maia was very happy that she was not a cat. She couldn't imagine have the urge to chase, kill and eat rats, cat instincts or no.
Now instead of youma's she was seeking out the magical mishaps that were not a guardians cat. It couldn't be to hard she had found Beni easy enough right. She grinned wondering if she would run into possible a senshi tonight or even *********, Beni had run into ********* shook her head, she thought maybe she had better go to Zirconia and talk to her. She was guaranteed to get as straightforward an answer as possible from Zirc, assuming she knew what was going on. Even better she might try to grab both Zirc and ********* together. Two heads were better than one.
With that Maia started out of the park, it would take a bit, as she was close to the middle and she really didn't feel like tree hopping at the moment. She kept her senses open for the not a guardian cats.

And a not guardian cat was in the park. Wolframite was back in the park, happy to avoid nasty traffic and non-leashed dogs, and was even more perky this evening despite his situation. He had a piece of hot dog. A passing family had walked by and a little girl, noticing him, had toss him a piece of her hot dog. He tried to follow her for more, but her parents tugged her along. It was late and it seemed they wanted to get her to bed.
While he might have pointed out their bad parenting with how late it was, they obvious taught her right by offering kitties like him food. Now, holding his piece of hot dog in his mouth, he was trotting down the walk to find a place to eat it. As he did, he hummed to himself, tail up and swishing about, as he pranced and jumped up on a rock and then place his prize down to chew on it. He only wished his little mouth wasn't bigger.

That odd feeling, she sensed him before she saw him and so she slowed and looked around to find 'cat'. She grinned when she spotted the cat and of course she approached. Its not like he wouldn't know she was there.
She was smiling happily her heel clicking off the pavement, the grass crunching slightly beneath her feet as she moved toward the rock the cat sat on. Even if ti was weird she had to admit it was slightly amusing.
"Good evening," she said in a sing songy voice making to walk around the cat. "Are you another who has had a little human to animal shift or are you actually a guardian cat?"

Wolframite froze when a senshi just up and walked up to him, and his fur bristled on his back as he watched her. Not because she could kill him. No. There was another worry he had before this. He let out a low growl. "This is my hotdog." He told her, placing both paws in front of it and watching her. "..and I'm not a guardian." He wasn't insulted, he was just telling her that if she was here just to talk to a guardian, she was barking up the wrong tree.
Right now, he just wanted to protect his almost eaten hotdog. She knew she thought it looked delicious and wanted it.

She gave a small giggle to see how he defended his hot dog, it seemed all the cats were hungry and that she might possible be getting more food or bringing more out with her on patrol. She searched her sash to see if she still had a bit of food left over from what she had given Beniotite, but she must have dropped it.
"I thought I had more food. I gave another cat, who coincidentally is also not a guardians some food earlier, but I think I must have dropped it."
She knelt before him and gave him the once over before frowning slightly, another dark kitty with a dark star, or she assumed it was a dark star she could barely see it.
"Your a negaverse agent then, yes," she said looking at him closely her frown deepening, "I know who you are."

Wolframite was glad she wasn't after his hotdog, but gobbled up the remainder as she spoke with him, licking his lips after and then cleaning his paws. He had been hopeful when she spoke about more food, but at the moment he was full and content. More than that. He was a tad sleepy now.
As he cleaned his paw and face, his ears twitched. "Yes, I am." And then he was more aware that he was a very small cat and she was a senshi he once beat up on. Not a good situation to be in. He dropped his cleaning and stood on all fours. There were places to run but to where? He wasn't able to find a decent shelter for a while. He more or less happened on places to rest.
"Are you......going to ...do something about that?" If she KNEW who he was, then he was in serious trouble. He started to back up.

She gave a nod at the confirmation and shook her head lightly, it only confirmed for her even more who he was or at least who she thought he was. His stuttered question had her giving him a curious look. Of course he had every reason to be afraid, but not really not as he was.
"If your asking me if I intend to hurt you, than the answer is no, even if you are Wolframite, right? Eye patch is kind of a give away its just like the one you wear. Despite our ... um ... trying to kill one another or more you trying to kill me, except that last time ...." Maia huffed.
Frowning slightly she sat fully and pulled her knees up to set her head on top of them. "Not the point, anyway doesn't matter, you currently a cat and I've no intention of hurting you."
She sighed lightly wondering if she would run into any senshi stuck in the same predicament as Wolf and Beni.

He stopped moving back, glad she assured him he would not be harmed, and while he knew he could be tricked by a lie, he stayed put and then started to advance.
He'd test it.
Moving up, he looked her up and down, before turning about and showing his tail. "Well then, would you help me by taking out these thistles from my tail? My teeth won't let me take them out." A group of spiky, greenish-gray balls were stuck into his fur, sticking and, without thumbs, hard to pull out.

Maia shook her head lightly with a small smile, but she nodded, "sure I can take them out for you. I'm guess you had an unfortunate run in with a bush then."
She held out her hand for his tail waiting for him to move it over and then took her sash and protect her own hand and proceeded to try to gently remove the thistles. "Sorry if I hurt you, but thistle never feel good coming out," she said wiggling one gently.
She sighed lightly thinking on the situation, "have you run into anyone else thus far. I've run into Beniotite, who is also a cat, and then you but no one else thus far. It seems no one really knows what is going on myself included. Weird things happen all the time though, this is most certainly not outside the weird perimeter."
She plucked the last thistle with a small, "all done."

It did not feel good, that was for sure, but he gritted his teeth and bared with it only because it felt worse to have them in, pulling on his fur every time his tail move - which it did a lot. He also knew he didn't want to bite them off since they hurt his gums.
So he waited until they were free and then turned about to lick his tail, straightening out the fur. Tail still poking out, he looked up at her. "Most of the time, it's because of senshi." He pointed out, knowing that whenever magic mishaps happened, they were usually the ones to blame. They didn't use that sort of magic after all.
He licked his tail a few times more. "....but I do not know what is going on, and I haven't seen anyone I know." Sadly, he was just running around in the park trying to find a meal, let alone the answers to this great mystery. It seemed a bit much to ask of a small cat.

"I beg to differ, but I don't want to argue. Its tiring and more often than not entirely stupid," she said hunching slightly her posture showing she really didn't want to fight.
She chewed on her bottom lip for a moment frowning when he said confirmed that he also did not know what was going on, meaning she would remain clueless for the time being, all she knew from Beni was that ********* was looking into it and she hadn't seen ********* yet.
"I see," she said with a small huff, "guess I will have to keep looking. Hopefully I will come across someone who knows something."
She leaned forward laying down on her stomach and yawning bringing a hand up to her cheek to rest on. "Your not so bad this way. And by that I don't mean as a cat."

When she laid down on her stomach, Wolframite jumped up on her back and started to walk in a circle to get a comfortable spot. Why did he do this? It was just.... an instant compulsion. It said "SIT HERE!" and so he was. It was also warm here, and higher than where he was sitting. There was such a nice allure to being higher up than the ground.
"What do you mean?" He asked, not sure what wasn't so bad if she didn't mean him being a cat. Walking around once again, he finally sat down, curling his tail around him. "......cause I'm smaller?" He looked down, still confused, and looked back up at her again. "...that I can't lift a weapon?" That was probably it, right?
