Welcome Everyone,
Server Status-
I'm currently running a server but it is not running on a "VPS" or a "Virtual Private Server" this will soon be changed.

attention everyone this server has had a little set back due to minecraft updating to 1.00 which means we have to wait for mods to come out for bukkit again so it will not be a vanilla here is the progress list

Faction-
For Factions i have two ideas they are as follows:
1. For idea one i am going for something that is as survival teams, this idea is that you spawn in a city that contains a market a bank and etc all done by chest shops. Outside of said city is wilderness with a nopvp barrier for a little bit out of the safe area. Once you pass the pvp barrier it is free game, Factions would be integrated into this idea but making it so that one can make a faction and use it as a "Survival Group" and basically start from scratch and once again make a team to conquer land and survive as if in smp but with someone truthfully watching your back.
Pros-
-it provides plain smp for those who want it
-it provides teamwork and the faction pvp will entertain for a while
-it creates interest other than building

Cons-
-As on one server dubbed "Novs.12" people may join ones faction only to grief and destroy the factions by leaving and killing.
-Once one faction establishes a base in the world it may never be uprooted causes domination
- I probably would have to reset server world alot to allow for fresh maps and fresh starts
-the server would not be good for building

Half/Half-
-server will not be griefed easily
-it would attract more survivalist and a few builders (Factions provides no-griefing from non faction members
-I WILL have LWC so chests are safe
-World Guard will be in place for moderators
-We can always change server types

Idea two-
you spawn in a town that instead of containing shops etc, the town is actually a town with houses and etc. The point of this idea is that Factions act more of like a Gang type. Instead of wars in the wilderness which will be around this idea makes it so that you can buy a plot and build and etc inside of a town and not be threatened no matter what inside your house, Your faction can buy a street block and have it under your control and build what ever and be safe

Pros-
-better for building
-good for fighting
-good for rp
- good for economy base

Cons-
-less survivalist
-camping of spawn is easier
- town will have to be expanded
-Harder to make a hold

half/half-
-world guard will be used
-LWC is used
-building and fighting
-chance for wilderness survival
