Geography
Each team member is handed a map of their territory. On the map are three colors of dots. Red, yellow, and black. The red dot is the location of the team’s base. The yellow dot is the location of a bag containing the items the team needs to guard from the other teams. The black dot represents the tower which a team must present its collected object to. The territories are separated by a forked river. The entire playing field is surrounded by a very tall stone wall.
Each territory has a base. In the bases are sleeping quarters, a meeting room, a ‘jail’, and a hospital room with a doctor on standby. The bases are hidden well, so it is advised to keep this location as secret as possible.
The forest is full of creatures and monsters. Some you will recognize, some you may not. Many are dangerous. Some of them will try to kill you. Be on your guard at all times. Anything can happen.

This Island breathed excitement. People from just about every corner of the planet were laughing, talking, arguing, and running about. Some languages, she didn’t understand. A man stood out in the crowd. He waved his arms and called, “Team One, this way!” Saiyuri followed. A mass of people from her country surrounded her. They were all speaking in excited bursts. Everyone was excited to start the first game. Reizo stayed close to Saiyuri. He didn’t want to lose her among the mass of people. His tail drooped behind him. This situation made him uneasy.
The man leading the group stopped in front of a huge iron gate. The iron was curved into swirled patterns. She wondered if all of the gates were the same. Maybe the game creators fashioned each gate to represent the nature of each corresponding country. If so, this gate fit Ithus well. Strong and Beautiful.
“Listen up!” The man shouted over the crowd. “Here’s how this game works. Your team is given three items. Two items from team two, and one from team three. The other teams will try their hardest to take these from you. Don’t let them. While you secure these items, the other teams cannot win. The goal of this game is to collect your own team items. Teams two and three each start with at least one of your items. You need all three to win. One dagger, one key, and one scroll. Once you have collected all three of your team items, get to the center tower. If you are the first team there with all three items, your team wins. Team items are not permitted in the base. This will disqualify your team for this round. Also, if you open your scroll before the game is over, it will be unreadable. You will want to keep this scroll intact for future games. If you open another team’s scroll, your team will be disqualified for this round.” ’Okay, this isn’t too complicated so far.’ Saiyuri thought. The man continued speaking.
“In a minute, I will hand each of you a copy of your terrotiry map. This map does not include the other team territories. But it does, however, have the location of your base and the items you start with. Keep these locations a secret to the other teams.” He shuffled the copies of the map in his hand. “There is a lot at stake here, folks. This isn’t an event to take lightly. Be careful, and don’t get killed.”
’Well that was uplifting.’ She thought the man’s last statement was unnecessary. Don’t get killed? What kind of instruction was that? Saiyuri hopped in line to take her map. The line moved quickly and she received her map in a matter of two minutes. She walked toward the gate and eyed over the map. It was simple enough. There was a river separating her territory from the others, and a tower in the middle. There were two dots in her territory. One yellow, and one red. The red dot was her team’s base, and the yellow dot was where the items were.
She stood outside the gate in anticipation. Through it, she could see nothing but ancient looking trees. It was gorgeous. The sun was coming down on the forest with just the right intensity. Light trickled down though the leaves leaving just enough light to see comfortably. The canopy was bright green and seemed to shimmer with the wind dancing through. Although it was hot outside waiting in the sun, she could feel a cool wind come from within the forest. Her anticipation grew. Reizo sniffed the air and had a pleased look about him. He glanced at Saiyuri and whined with a little bark at the end. He wanted to be in that forest too. ”Soon Reizo.” She giggled at her wolf.
The gate swung open with a squealing sound. Nothing seemed to be operating the gate. It just opened by itself. The shifter cautiously entered the game field. The temperature here was much cooler. It was overwhelmingly refreshing. Saiyuri looked up as she walked forward, admiring the forest’s beauty. This is where her home would be until the game ended. There was no telling when the game would end. It could take days or even a few months, she was told. The whole game series could take around a year. Saiyuri was in love with this opportunity. There was nothing she would trade it for.
According to the map she was shone earlier. The items should be onward and to the left. This is the direction she set off in. Reizo followed close behind his master.

Time still turns the pages of the book it's burned
Place and time always on my mind
And the light you left remains but it's so hard to stay
I have so much to say but you're so far away. It was not a bad day.
The trees covered much of the sky, but Derik could easily see that it was rather sunny out even though it was nigh in the morning. He had slept for as long as he could but now he rose with the coming of the sun, his large black wings stretching as he sat outside of the gate. His Zanpakuto, Etheris he called it, sat in the ground about halfway in, it's massive form acting as a shade to the Dragarian Prince. In many words, he could be stated as being cool, nonreactive, but excited never less. Quite contradictory but there you have it. His outward appearance very rarely generally conveyed what he thought but none could really notice it at times. He was excited for the Games to begin, the rush of Adrenaline already peaking through his veins and giving that rushing feelings towards his senses. Blowing his white hair from his face, he looked around.
Apparently the others were in a group or were wandering around for Derik could not see them. Suprisingly, he also couldn't see his cousin Fal, no matter how distant the relation may be. They were family, through and through no matter how far the blood relation may carry. And thankfully, Derik knew he wouldn't feel lonesome with a fellow kinsman about him. Perhaps this could be a more convenient time as to learn more about his cousin and perhaps he could do the same to Derik. But all in due time of course, as Derik stood and grasped the blade in the ground.
Pulling up with massive strength, the monstrous Zanpakuto easily slid out of the ground, Derik's hand holding it as if it were a toy. His white trench coat swayed in the breeze as he spun the weapon; the blade seeming to sing as it continued it's path in a circle. "The time has come." Derik said simply, halting his play with the weapon as he placed it upon his back a leather strap seizing the weapon and holding it in place. Flapping his wings once more, the Prince's red eyes gazed about the area, trying to find figures of his teammates anywhere.
He too had followed the man as well, into the depths of the forest. Still, he had been unable to see Fal and that bothered him slightly. However, the feeling passed as he grasped his map and raised his eyebrows as one of his team, Saiyuri he believed her name to be, began to wander off. Feeling that she was already on the hunt of the items, Derik followed behind her, his wings flapping as he walked in step next to her. "I presume you are already on the move for items?" He chuckled, "My, aren't we in a rush. You didn't even look at the view!" Of course he was joking with her but still, she should at least admire their surroundings! Beauty was a rare thing these days. I love you

Energy: 100% How no one dead will seem to come.
What is it men are shrinking from?  These games will be the death of me...or rather...everyone else.
Lou couldn't help such thoughts passing through her head as she watched the large group continue to grow outside a large iron gate. All these people from various different backgrounds...they were all here to be part of the games. Part of Lou wondered why so many people were so interested. But she brushed the question aside and kept herself detatched a bit from the large group. It was early in the morning and she wasn't much of a morning person. Plus it was just easier to be alone.
Suddenly a man standing directly in front of the gate began talking. He discussed the games and what the rules were. Lou listened to everything the man said while continuing to survey the group of people around her. None of them seemed alike in any way. All looked to have some speical gift or power. Lou's gaze dropped to the ground.
Finally the man quit talking and the gates swung open. Everyone suddenly lined up to get a map. Lou got in line as well and moved with the quickly moving line. As she waited to recieve her map she wondered when the next full moon would be. Yes she was a werewolf and she should keep track of such things. But hey, nobody's perfect. She was a tad lazy in that part of her life.
Lou reached out and was handed a map. She walked through the gates and was quickly swallowed up into a thick forest. While she walked she opened up the map and began to review it. A river divided up the game field, each section belonging to a certain team. Her team's base was located North-East. Her best bet was to travel to her base and try to figure out what her team's plan was on how to retrieve the three items. While she preferred to act alone she had to know who her teammates were. It was just asking for trouble if she remained clueless.
Rolling the map back up, Lou headed in the direction the map told her, her base was located. She heard a few people talking to each other. She secretly hoped someone wouldn't try to start up any small talk with her. Lou just wanted to find her team, get all three items and win the game so she could leave all these people behind.It would be easy to be clever
And tell the stones: Men hate to die
And have stopped dying now forever.
I think they would believe the lie.

  Team 3 - 2nd in Command
Enron stood with his arms crossed as he listened to the rules of the game, taking the map as it was handed to him. He kept it sealed for the time being and would wait till he had entered the playing field before looking at it. When the speaker was done he began his walk into the playing field, his eyes focused on Lou.
He opened the map for a quick glance taking it in, his motion caused a ringing from the many hanging shards around his wrist. From her direction he knew she was going to the base and he decided to follow her. Give him a chance to see what he was working with, still angered at being second to the prince he hoped for at least a few promising team mates.
He lifted his empty hand to run through his hair as he looked around, His lips curled to a snarl for a moment as he took in all the green. He ran though his plans in his head, for that start of the game he assumed the items would be guarded so for the time being they are safe from the other teams.
Pocketing his hand after concealing the map on the inside of his coat, Many trinkets and shards around his body always shimmered and gleamed as if alive and moving even when they held still.
He felt confident they would win these games, the crowds and cheering had reminded him how the other cultures lack the focus of his kind. He looked back to see if any of the other would be near by, He smirked as the though of some of them being hidden. It would be a better strategy for a few of his team to work in stealth, his own role would be to draw all the attention he could with shear terror and force when needed.

Zii is with no one but stalking her team mates and has found herself in the forest of the games feeling good and curios

 I have never felt so alive.
As I do now.
Late Zii casually walked up to the group that had been forming a line to grab maps she had missed the rules but knew them because her father had participated in game many years ago and somehow the old bat manged to remember the rules. Stretching her arms she let out a low yawn as the demon took in some of the people that had previously been gathered making their way into the unknown - her lateness would only harm her frowning as she thought of the fact she missed the only chances to size up the other teams, oh well she would met them all somehow sooner or later. Zii was doing this for her father, she would gain fame from this game and it was all for him after all he did want it more than she did. Walking up to the moderator she grabbed the map that was being handed out and moved to the side not caring to see where anyone was going she had to learn the green abyss as best as she could.
Unraveling the map she took in what it depicted taking in certain points on the map that she wanted to explore, rolling it back up she shoved it into the cloth that was wrapped tightly around her waist before walking through the woodland area. Her bare feet felt everything underneath her as she walked a smile of satisfaction creeping across her face, she would defiantly not miss the stones underneath her. Walking in the direction she assumed her team base to be in she noticed she wasn't the only one.
Watching the two carefully she recognized one mainly from what her father had told her about their second in command she had heard he challenged their King and Queen's decision to pick their son as the leader, she would stay back chances being he wouldn't be in a great mood for the first day of the game. Zii's eyes trailed off to other one who was further up and tilted her head a bit she knew nothing about that one but her curiosity made her want to met her all that much more taking a step she felt her body wanting to run up and quickly she stopped herself - Remember Zi Zi you must be mature - you must listen to others and learn the way they move before you show them you. - Crossing her arms she remembered the speech she received before trying to leave earlier than she did. Rolling her shoulders she forced herself to maintain her pace still following the two, debating if she should explorer before or after she met with her group.

Fal walked in with the rest of his team, registering what the instructor was saying without really listening to his words. He had expected all this when he came here, so none of it really seemed important at the current moment. He took the map quietly, ignoring the small look the instructor gave him when he came in content with Fal's 'static field'. It was a few feet of space near him that the air was charged with electric energy. It was always there so people usually got used to it after a few brushes. When he had enough room, he stretched his wings out a bit, catching a few extra rays from the sun that warmed his blood nicely through the blood vessels in his wings.
When he was done enjoying nature, he studied the map he'd been given. From what he could see, the items they needed to protect weren't too far off. It probably would have been best if someone went and got those before either of the other teams decided to get a little proactive. He had the oddest sensation that someone was looking for him. He thought it was all in his head and if he gave himself something to do, it would go away.
As he started walking towards the direction where the items should be, he noticed two other figures ahead of him heading in the same direction further ahead. And one had wings. "Ahhh! The prince! I forgot to pay my respects. I'd better go do that now before I get in any trouble." he said quickly. He ran to catch up, occasionally taking small leaps and gliding with his wings. It was something he'd done since childhood when he wanted to get somewhere fast, but didn't feel like flying.
He fell into step to one side and slightly behind the prince. "Sorry your highness. I forgot you were participating in the games as well. Forgive me for not coming to find you sooner." he said, eyes on the ground. He was a little worried, so his static field extended to about three feet, and he couldn't pull it back no matter how much he tried. Small sparks occasionally ran through his hair as well, lighting it up. 'At least I'm not as bad as Alexia.' he thought. 'She catches fire in situations like this.' the sudden thought about one of his sisters made him recall how much he would miss them during the games.

Energy: 100% How no one dead will seem to come.
What is it men are shrinking from?Well...my last forced change happened last week which would put the next full moon somewhere within the next few days, right? Or the next week? It can't be tomorrow or tonight? I should have brought a calendar.
Lou continued walking in the direction of her team's base, almost completely lost in her own thoughts. Since entering the playing field no one had approached her or even called out to her. Lou had sent up prayers of thanks to whom ever cared enough to listen to her pathetic prayers. For the most part she had just chalked it up to luck that nobody had tried to speak with her yet. But her father always prayed.
The faint sounds of footsteps coming from behind her slowly pulled Lou out of her confused thoughts. She kept to her pace, not slowing down nor speeding up. That would show whoever was following her that she was afraid. She wasn't afraid of people following her. Oh no. There were far greater evils in the world that terrified her.
Lou pulled out her map again to double check and make sure that she was headed in the right direction. She was. Rolling the map back up she finally cast a look over her shoulder. Several feet back she spotted a male and a female, even further back, following her. Neither one of them seemed to be looking for a fight or anything of that sort. Maybe these people were her teammates?
Okay...that made sense. But now...now what? If these people were her teammates then she would have to do something. Speak to them. But she also needed to keep her distance from them at the same time. It was just easier to keep everyone at a distance. Easier and safer.
Lou finally stopped and turned to face the two possible teammates. "Hello." She called her greeting out to the two who were following. Since the female was further back than the male she hoped that the young woman had heard. "I assume you're looking for the base too?" It would be easy to be clever
And tell the stones: Men hate to die
And have stopped dying now forever.
I think they would believe the lie.

Energy 100% Sebastian was given his map. He hadn't really listened to the instructions but the concept was simple enough anyway. Not that it really mattered to him on how easy the idea was, the main problem would be his competitors or worse still the unknown that lay within the forest. Nobody had come to see him off, not that it interested him either way, every human only cared for themselves. Only the large iron gate now stood between him and the beginning of these 'games'. The guards at the front giving the team their final pieces of advice. Looking around the majority of his allies seemed eager and even excited about what lay ahead of them. Sebastian couldn't help but let out a smirk. He certainly wasn't going to enjoy this experience. Such foolish people they were to be excited by this event, surely champions like these were aware of the dangers that lay ahead.
Sebastian however had little choice but to participate. The nobles had him by the throat. He had been forced between entering the Mallandaia tournaments or being put to death because of his crimes. 'What crimes?' he thought. He had certainly committed to many to count but they had no proof. Manipulating Sebastian and taking advantage of his skills, they were just as bad as him. "Humans are such a cowardly race" murmuring to himself. They grew in there thousands and destroyed everything in their path. On their own however they were weak so how could they take advantage of his skills? Ironically though the first task suited him well. Tracking, stealing, running perfectly catered his style. This caused Sebastian's confidence to grow yet it angered him that the nobles were able to conclude on this outcome. As for the remainder of the tasks only time would tell.
The large gates in front of him creaked open and the guards dispersed for the Team, they all entered into the forest. Some hesitant and others bursting with confidence. Sebastian just entered with his head down. Anyway he looked at the situation it seemed inevitable he would die. Either in this deadly place or by the failure his team had two thirds of a chance of incurring, and the nobles definitely wouldn't be lenient with a loss. The forest was heavily dense in a green lushness. Many of the plants looked as if completely unique to the beautiful area. Sights such as these had become rare for the industrialized humans like Sebastian. Taking out the map once more he noticed how simplistic it was. The red dot indicated the base where his team would call home the next 'X' amount of days. It seemed that this would be the most logical place to start.

 If there was one word that could best describe Craos’ feelings at this moment in time, it would be nonchalant. Well alright, not-giving-a-damn was the more accurate but either way he wasn’t bustling with excitement or fear. To Craos, this was just a means to prove him worthy of leading his tribe, nothing more nothing less. The rewards themselves, at least the ones given to them by those running “The Game”, were both worthless and meaningless to Craos. All that he needed was to win, that was it. Yet even that could be debated, since failing this did not mean he would lose all chances to become the tribe leader. All it really meant was that he’d have to try again… perhaps killing a massive creature. That would certainly prove his worth, and then he could return to his life of napping, eating and possibly mating if he was lucky to find one upon returning. And if not, he was guaranteed to find some sort of mate in time. What sensible Chimera female would NOT want to mate with the leader?
Momentarily glancing towards his fellow teammates Craos took this moment of pause to sit down and clean his ears, quietly licking his hand and then brushing it over one ear before repeating the pattern with the other. He did this for a bit until he noticed they were moving, and finding he was complete with his cleaning he followed albeit ahead since, beyond just being the second in command he was not afraid to enter these woods. Well, alright he knew that there were violent creatures which dwelled here but he had faced much worse in the past. Plus there was apparently another well known monster here that went by the name Chimera, though where his kind were named “Chimera” for their compilation of animals’ parts; this Chimera was the lion, goat, snake hybrid he had heard about in “Chimera” mythology. If he remembered the legends clearly, they were once “Chimera” cursed to be all animal, though he never understood why it was just a lion, goat and snake.
“Lyin got sssnac…” he spoke quite suddenly and in a rather hard to understand accent at that since his kind barely spoke clear English let alone proper English. As he did, he made gestures; a circle around his head to symbolize the mane of a lion, his horns and ears to symbolize a goat and swaying his arm left and right as if it were a snake sliding around. “I got tu…” he said, lightly patting his horns and ears before walking on. Thankfully his kind, though usually speaking in grunts, hisses, purrs and coos did visual representation too, so it wasn’t entirely impossible to understand what he was saying. It just took practice and getting to know him.

The game's concept was rather.. Simple. She thought of it as too simple. Obviously there were things other than the other teams inside the forest that would prove to be a problem, she had no doubt.
She gathered around the gate with the majority of the others. She studied it for a moment. It was actually quite beautiful, even for a gate. Dragging her gaze away, she moved her staff, to which she named Apollo, so that she was able to hold it with her arm so she could study the map for a moment. Although it got annoying, without Apollo, she couldn't use her summons. So she was, in a way, forced to carry it around.
She moved her staff back into her left hand as the gate opened, but kept the map open, as it would prove troublesome if she kept having to move Apollo around just to look at the paper. As she walked in past the gate, she couldn't help but admire the beauty of the dense forest for just a moment. But the thoughts of what were in it were inevitable, and she pouted, only slightly. Beauty was always a dangerous thing.
She noticed a male speaking what wasn't exactly English, but she got the gist from his motions. She giggled to herself. It was quite cute, in her eyes. She studied his figure for a moment. She wondered if he was what they called Chimera's, due to the boy's motion with the horns on his head. Although she was once told they looked different. More feral. She shrugged it off for now.
She looked at the map once more. She wasn't sure where the others would be heading, but she was going to the base. She let her arm fall back to her side and headed in the direction of said location. She could have just summoned Fenrir and got there quicker, but that would have been a waste of energy, no matter how convenient.
Looking up from the map, she noticed another ahead of her. Not to seem suspicious, she tried not to stay too close, nor too far behind. She didn't want to randomly strike a conversation. She'd save it for the times it mattered. She looked up at the tops of trees. The density of the trees made it impossible to see the sky correctly, but it looked pretty, nonetheless. She turned her gaze back to the ground to make sure she didn't walk into anything.

Saiyuri heard the man come up behind her. He walked next to her as she began her search for the items. “Hello, Prince Derik. You presume correctly.” She laughed at his comment. She was in a rush. “The items need to be secured. Leaving them in the forest would be careless. I would go after the other teams items straight away, but that would be useless, as they have their whereabouts and we do not. It is my plan to secure the items, and then find the base. At the base, out team can discuss further plans.” ’Or should I get to the base first? The other teams won’t know where our items are. And the leader might have something else in mind for me. I haven’t seen him yet. Is he even here? Maybe I should gather up the team and keep things in check until he gets here? But what if one of the other teams gets to our items while we’re all at the base? Damn it! I don’t know what to do.’ Logic was pulling her in two different directions.
’I guess I can trust the team to meander to the base. I doubt they have much of an idea of what to do right now.’ She decided to continue with finding the items. She would leave finding the base for later.
A man, similar to Derik joined the group. He seemed to be enthusiastic about being on the same team as the prince of his kind. But he also seemed to forget that Saiyuri was the second in command. This was her turf. Not the prince’s. She became slightly irritated at this new man’s gesture. Before the man finished talking, she felt a wave of energy hit her. It was strange. Almost like a lot of static electricity, but not quite. It felt kind of like the sensation you get when a bolt of lightning strikes close by. Reizo felt it too. He didn’t like it much at all. The wolf jumped away from the source and growled.
’I’d love to see what this dragarian can do. He has some kind of influence over electricity. That might be useful.’ She started thinking strategy. She was planning on splitting her team into pairs that would work best together. She wasn’t sure if she would place the two dragarians together or not. Of course, she would have to run this plan by the leader.
”Anyway, let’s go find those items.” She said to her two teammates. They best get going if they want to get back in time to meet their leader for further instruction. The shifter continued in the direction she was headed and assumed that the two followed her. Reizo was at her heel.
Saiyuri didn’t know what was awaiting them at the items, but she knew for sure that it won’t be easy reaching them. She was glad these two men joined her. She would need them.
