Rolled a three: Grass field: The breeze from the stadium air conditioners rustles the flat grassland arena that has replaced the default stage. Small clouds of harmless pollen fly through the air from the breeze. The land is completely flat, making maneuverability easy to those build to walk on land. This field gives a 25 HP attack boost to GRASS and BUG type attacks.

Mina entered the Stadium once more, a hand resting on her hat to prevent it from falling off that windy day. Usually, she battled with Rohe, her Marowak who loved nothing more than competitive fighting, but today, a different Pokémon waited beside her.

"Ready?" she asked him reassuringly.

Trist gave a doubtful snort in response, tapping a hoof against the ground as he waited for an opponent. In terms of battling, he always compared himself to Rohe and, well, he wasn't as experienced as her, to put it simply. Still, he understood why Mina had brought him. It would be no good if, during their travels, only Rohe was capable of fighting, and this would help him, too. So, even if he wasn't as big of a fan of battling, he would try his best.

Flint entered the stadium followed by Rush. Flint waved at Mina " hey, good luck today!" he called as rush took his place on the battlefield, he looked Trist over appraisingly sizeing him up.

Flint looked at the screen " oh looks like I'm up first!" he said. " rush lets start this up by using work-up!

"Thanks!" Mina called across the field, happy to see a familiar face. "Good luck to you, too!"

Unlike his trainer, Trist wasn't feeling thrilled at all to see his opponent would be a large, stocky bull. The scars and broken horn, proof of the numerous battles the Tauros no doubt went through, did little to reassure him. Still, he tipped his head lightly in silent greeting before the battle began.

"All right, Trist; use Toxic, now!" Mina said.

At the command, Trist let loose a stream of poison from his maw, directing the liquid towards Rush.

Flint winced at Rush was poisoned, that was going to do some damage. Rush grunted and ignored his enemy's greeting. " Rush use rock smash!" Flint called and the bull Pokemon began his attack

Trist instinctively shied away when the bull Pokémon charged, just barely dodging the attack. He didn't know how the Tauros would react to the poisoning -- they were known to be short-tempered breeds, after all -- and was worried about the rebuttal he would receive, especially since the other's hooves looked exceptionally sharp -- even more so after the Work Up.

Mina appeared to be thinking the same thing. Without pause, she said, "Follow it up with Power Swap!"

Rush scowled in frustration. flint frowned a bit, that tactic wouldn't work " alright Rush, try it again! Rock smash!"

Flint's Rush appeared to have been more harmed by the poison than Mina had originally thought. Hoping it would offer at least a bit more protection towards Trist, she finally yelled an attack.

"Double Kick!"

Attempting to approach Rush from his less-pointy side, Trist turned mid-stride and kicked back with his hind hooves.

Rush bellowed loudly in frustration as the attack hit. Rush swung around and tried to hit the stupid-long-necked-Pokemon with his good horn

Mina winced when Rush's attack came in contact with Trist, the Tauros' large frame and intimidating hooves dealing large damage to the unprepared Girafarig. But Trist wasn't down just yet.

"Hang in there, Trist! Go with another Double Kick!"

Trist grunted in pain when Rush swung right into him. He hadn't thought for a single second that the Pokémon's attacks would be anything but powerful, but he hadn't expected anything like this.

His bulk prevented him from being thrown off, however and, still close to the Tauros, he tried another Double Kick.

Rush staggered back a pace as the attack and the poison took its toll, but rush could feel the poison receding now. though it did nothing for his flagging energy. With a deafening roar Rush made to slam full-force into Trist's side in a take-down attack

Another cringe followed Rush's second attack. When he decided to hit, he hit hard.

"You're almost done," Mina called reassuringly. "Double Kick, one more time!"

Trist shied away after the second hit, and he would have continued to do so had Mina not spoken. Looking hopefully towards her, he turned his gaze again to Rush and saw that, despite his strength, he did look tired indeed.

Galloping towards the bull Pokémon again, he tried to aim another two kicks.

Rush shuddered then collapsed in the grass, slipping into unconsciousness. Flint stared in shock, rush had been defeated plenty of times before, but never so quickly. He recalled rush to his poke-ball and made his way across the field. " im impressed, your Griafarig is really strong! you should be proud of it" he said offering his hand for a handshake
