Kathryn dropped her keys on the ground below a tree. The confusion was running rampant in her mind as to why she was suddenly a cat. By now Kathryn had decided that she wasn't dreaming anymore. Something strange had happened and she couldn't help but to flash back to when she'd met Tallulah. Heck, even her jaunt to the Town Hall meeting was filled with weird. But this ... this took the cake.
Kathryn meowed softly in consternation before attempting a quick grooming. Even this action brought a sense of confusion. What was she doing? Kathryn lashed her tail against the ground. Where could she go? Home was out of the question and what would Tallulah think of her if she showed up looking like a cat and tried speaking. Scents hit Kathryn's nose and she sorted out various appetizing smells. Curling up into a ball she tried to ignore the tantalizing aromas. She raked her claws into the ground before giving a big sigh. This was going to be a trial to get through.

This time when Celsus stumbled across another cat, it was completely unintentionally - and most definitely not ********* been out - not really patrolling, but still Celsus, rather than Fritz, on the lookout for anyone he knew that might understand his situation - or even be in the same one. After several hours, he had not yet found anyone.
At least until now, when he found a little cat on the ground beneath a thick oak tree.
At first, he might have thought it was just a regular cat. But then it gave a very human-like sigh, curled up, and proceeded to look miserably around at its surroundings.
Celsus approached it cautiously, ducking his head low.
"Hello?" he tried tentatively.

Kathryn's ears twitched at the greeting. Her head came up slowly. Gray eyes took in her surrounding with a bit of confusion before lighting upon a cat standing less than five feet away. Did the greeting come from this cat? Kathryn proceeded to uncurl from her position and took an instinctive step back. Although she was human her actions plainly spoke "cat". Kathryn realized this and ceased her backwards trek.
She could not help it when her back arched as she gave the newcomer a piercing gaze. Her fur, which had been lying flat, refused to do so now.
A classic defense display. Kathryn ducked her head before willed herself to calm down. Her fur still stood on end but she managed to relax enough to seat herself back on the ground. Trapped as she was in this feline state it was all she could do to tamp down the various emotions she was feeling. She gave the other cat a more thorough once-over before dipping her head politely.
"I'd say good morning but then I'd be lying to myself. It's far from good."
