It had been…an interesting few weeks back at home to say the least. Very insightful, very resolving, maybe a bit saddening at some points, but that was alright, that was existence. To say the least, Hel was all too happy to be back on the train to Amity though. After a long wagon ride from her house to the station, the reaper now sat on the train with her steel toe plated boots resting on top of her trunk, and just stared at the window like she always did. She pondered the events over the past few weeks, the phone conversations she had, the words she shared with her mother, all the while growing more anxious and excited the closer and closer the train got to one station in particular.

The stop before Mot’s city, Hel couldn’t just veg and stare out the window any longer, no. She sat straight in her seat, her leg bouncing anxiously as she stared out the window now. It’d only be a few weeks, but as corny as it sounded, it felt like a few months since she’d last seen her good friend. Eventually the train finally rolled into the reaper city, and Hel scowled as she found that she had seated herself in the opposite side of the platform where others were waiting to board. Oops. Instead, the reaper took to kneeling in her seat, her arms resting on the tops of it as she stared at the door to the train compartment anxiously.

Mot stood on the platform, spurred boot tapping anxiously to his music. Skull adorned earbuds stuck in his ears, poncho and duster blowing in the dusty wind. His suitcase sat beside him. replacing the ratty overnight bag he had brought home. Inside were new clothes, thanks to the allowance his mother had given him to replace his ruined clothing from the field trip. The clothes he'd bought with Lizzy. He'd enjoyed spending time with her, and yet the one person he wanted to see the most throughout the trip turned out to be someone else.

He'd only realized it after a phone call a week or so back.

That ghoul was on this train, the one that had finally pulled into the station. Mot grinned, pulling the earbuds from his ears, pocketing them hurriedly. The mad rush to get in started, and Mot fell back for now, taking the time to turn off the music on his eyepod. He'd rather not get pushed around like a pinball, thank you.

The crowd thinned, and Mot finally made his way onto the train. He let out an exasperated sound as he got inside, looking around for the ghoul who was surely waiting for him.

"Hel!" He grinned widely, jogging over to the ghoul and sitting across from her. "I missed y----"

Were those boobs? They were kind of big. Was this really Hel?

"..uh.. Missed you. Wow, you did grow." Mot placed a hand over his mouth, fighting off a reddening of his cheeks. It was impolite to stare but.. Jackdamn!

Hel let out an exasperated sound as a whole bunch of beings started to swarm in, none of them even being remotely cowboil shaped. The reaper swayed back and forth, trying to peer around others as if she could catch a glimpse of him, and it was only when the crowd started to thin did he make his appearance. Way to keep a lady waiting, cowboil! Regardless, it didn’t stop the grin that exploded on Hel’s two toned face when she finally did take in the sight of him and his new threads. Oh! He even had his hair in that style she showed him.

As soon as the boil sat down across from her, it was free game for a hug. “Mot!” Hel returned excitedly, lunging across the way to hug the grim reaper tightly. She was half on him, half on the floor, and squeezed him tightly before pulling back a bit to look up at him, still grinning. “I missed you too, and I told you so!” She looked down at her chest as well. “It’s crazy, but I’m not complaining.” She was rather proud of it, after all!

"Hughk!" Mot grunted, the sudden hug catching him off guard. If seeing her new assets was one thing, having them pressed up against his tosro was something else altogether. Oh me, oh my. He returned the hug, despite his discomfort. After all, he really had missed her.

He did his best to keep his eyes from drifting down and away from her face, focusing on her dual-colored irises to keep from slipping. A gentlemen must not stare! No matter how spectacular they were!

"Well, as long as you're happy." Mot laughed, grinning and red in the face despite himself.

Hel’s gaze snapped back up at Mot, still grinning as she gave a vigorous nod of her head. “Yes, I am very happy!” She gave a laugh, noting his red face, and leaned forward towards him a bit more. “You can touch them if you want, Mot. I don’t mind.” She was grinning a Cheshire’s grin now, her eyes dancing with amusement and mischief as she trolled the grim reaper.

Hey, he was staring, and Hel wasn’t scoffing at the attention or the appreciation. Besides, it was terribly amusing to see the gentleman be swayed by something such as this.

WHAT?!

Mot's face burned with embarrassment at her so called offer, covering his face with both hands. "NO! Why would I---Just no!!" The reaper kept his face hidden, the heat coming off of him strong enough to cook an egg.

Hel howled with laughed as Mot slapped his hands over his face, and she could just see the red. The reaper stood then, but leaned forward to wrap her arms tightly around the reaper’s head, pressing him against her chest. “Aww come on, Mot!” She further trolled, starting to get bent on the subject now that he was flat out denying it. “It’s just a grab!”

The valkyrie swayed with him in her arms, still cackling.

Mortifying.

Simply mortifying.

He whined, and tried to wiggle free of her grasp. "Never! No! I won't!" He squeaked, muffled by his hands. Having her tease was one thing, having them squishing about on his noggin was breaking his mind. Maybe Hel would have mercy and back off. Just maybe. His poor little heart was winning an award for speed drumming.

Please let me go!

Never say never, Mot!” Hel cooed, and after swaying for a moment longer, she released the reaper, and flopped backward until she was in her seat once more. The reaper was still grinning at him widely, propping her feet back up on her trunk, and cackled. “Oh…I know what I am adding to my list of wins for when we start betting on training…” The ghoul rubbed her hands together, her grin promising nothing good.

Eventually, she was good to leave the topic be for now, content with the amount of damage she had inflicted upon the cowboil. “So…tell me about your break at home!” She started. “Did you sleep well after I called? What else did you do?”

"Oh Sweet Sally.." Mot muttered into his hands, his elbows now leaning on his knees. Just his luck. If their bets devolved to a boob grab he'd just die.

He stared at the darkness of his own palms as she cackled, his mouth forming a thin line across his face. When she spoke again, his hands slid down just over his nose, tired eyes peeking out at the ghoul across from himself.
"I slept decently enough. A couple of hours." Mot answered, his eyes shifting downward to his knees. "I didn't do much. Lizzy visited for a day. Roch took me to a concert." He moved his hands from his face, which was still flushed from his near panic attack; one settled behind his neck while the other hung over his leg.

"Not much else, really." He admitted. "It was rather boring. I miss the school."

Hel seemed please by his answer. If she helped him with at least a couple of hours of sleep, then that was very much a victory in her book. But as soon as the topic of Lizzy came up, followed by Roch…well, it sobered the valkyrie’s teasing mood up immediately. She recalled the phone conversation she had with Roch, and after that she had wondered if Mot was ever going to tell her that Lizzy had come to visit him over the break. Once again, she couldn’t help but ask herself why she didn’t get an offer like that either, but she quickly squashed the thought down. “Heh…that sounds more than what I did.” Hel offered up, pausing a moment. “…Did…you have a nice visit with Lizzy? I didn’t…know she was coming to visit you…I heard about it from Roch…”

The reaper gave a bit of a nod. “Ah…yes…I missed the Academy very much as well.”

"It was nice, yes." His eyes lifted from his knees, scanning Hel's face carefully. She seemed down. Did she not enjoy her break? He hadn't meant to make her feel badly. "Mnn, well I had promised her to see my town since the summer break. It was long overdue." He admitted, rubbing his neck still. His complexion was slightly less resembling a tomato now.

He paused, going over her words again. "Oh, you talked to Roch?" How often did they talk? "I saw you two talking a lot on Groanspring.."

It was nice…huh?

Speaking of Mot’s city…the reaper looked out the window as the train lurched forward, slowly starting to pull away from the station. Ah…now they were starting their journey back to the Academy, which they still had a while to go until they reached it. The valkyrie turned her gaze back towards Mot. “…Ah, I see.” A promise for a while. “…Well, I’m…glad…you had a good time…” Yet somehow, she wasn’t sincere with that phrase.

Hel nodded her head. “…I did. He called me to chat the night before he met up with you before the concert….” The ghoul trailed off for a moment. “Heh…yes…I like that GroanSpring a lot. It’s nice to be able to speak to everyone so quickly.”

Hel did not seem well. She seemed disappointed. Very much so. A frown pulled at Mot's lips, leaning in a bit to figure it out. "What's wrong, Hel?" Mot asked after a moment. "You don't seem well. Did your stay at home not go well?"

Her interaction with Roch was ignored for the time being. If Hel did not enjoy her vacation, he would much rather find ways to make it better.

The reaper blinked as Mot leaned forward and asked her what was wrong. The ghoul raised a fair hand, and waved it at him dismissively. “…Nothing’s wrong, friend!” I’m just sad that you’re quite taken with a ghoul who doesn’t even know how you feel, that’s all. She shook her head a bit. “No, my visit home went fine.” Just a few snags here and there. A very small smile tugged at her lips. “…The last few days…they were very enlightening for me. My mother and I…we had a very good talk.”

Roch’s echoing words from their phone conversation certainly wasn’t helping her mood right now, either. Kick her a** for me. Please, please, PLEASE, kick her a** for me.
