Alunite was hungry.
Usually, this wasn't a problem. He could simply open the fridge in his apartment, or go to a restaurant. Now, he lacked opposable thumbs and would probably get kicked out of any restaurant he tried to enter.
He'd never really envied Hiro or Dahlia - and now that he was stuck as a feline, he envied them even less, if such a thing was possible.
This whole cat thing sucked.
It didn't stop the corrupted once-senshi from sitting near the front door of his favorite tea-house, doing a pitiful imitation of a meow in hopes to mooch some food or perhaps - oh, if only - tea. No go so far, through, and the smell of fish that fluttered out every time the door opened was maddning.
Must have been sushi day.

Jade was hungry as well.
However, Jade was not worried about it. Or at least it didn't seem like so. The long-furred feline stepped on the sidewalk calmly, seemingly not in hurry to anywhere. Her somewhat muscular feet were touching silently the cold ground and elegant tail was following her frame almost in harmonic manner. She was small, for a cat, and slightly oriental looking. Her fur was silky and clean and i'ts color was resembling the gem jade. How fitting.
Jade knew where to go to get food. However how exactly she was going to get that food was still a mystery. She wasn't very eager to try begging and there was no way she was going to hunt those dirty rats that tended to run around in dark alleys. Who knew what kind of dangerous diseases those little mammals would carry?
The scent of raw, cooking-ready fish lured Jade towards the same restaurant where Alunite was trying his luck. As she saw the other, much more oddly colored, cat Jade paused her walk and placed her paws nicely next to each other, her tail curling around them as she sat down on the ground. For a moment she watched him silently, her head tilted a little in a curious tilt. Then, her soft voice broke the silence as she asked:
"How long you have been here?"

"Mrraaooowwww~ !"
Yeah. More like skinning cats than anything else, and Alunite ended up coughing from that attempt. At least he didn't cough up an hairball.
....He really hoped he would never cough an hairball. Through he had to admit he caught himself grooming more that he liked to admit.
In fact, he'd started licking a paw when Jade surprised her. Which... was funny in itself. He'd found that even like this, he still had a sense of who was ally and who was foe - but this one cat... felt like nothing at all.
...A civilian ? No, surely... Why did civilians always end up in these kind of things ? Sure, in another place and another time he might have been eager to drain her energy and move on, but now he couldn't help but feel a pang at their joined plight.
The risen paw went back down and he moved from his sitting position, turning both to get out of the way and face her. He had no want to try to explain talking cats to whoever might come out next.
Oh well. Time to play dumb.
"Not so long. A few minutes top." His own tail curled around his paws as he sat again. "Have you heard anything about... Well, what happened to us ? My family must be worried sick..." Ears pinned back slightly at that thought.
