Roll an Eight: City Streets Field: Broken tar and faded yellow lines make up the “street” that runs down the exact center of the battle field. On either side of the road are sidewalks with pieces of concrete here and there. Fake building walls, complete with broken glass windows and grime lining the surface, limit the amount of maneuverable space on land. Trash cans and trash bags decorate the street. A sewer grate nearby continually pours a stream of fog into the air which, unfortunately, helps spread the horrible stench of the trash. This field gives a 25 HP attack boost to POISON type attacks.

Shina walked into the stadium an winced. Ugh, city streets field. Shina tossed Rasha's pokeball into the field. From Rasha's mincing steps, Rasha agreed with Shina's distaste.

 Alex sighed. He had lost his very first battle yesterday, and it had certainly been a damper on his normally cheery mood. It was frustrating having to use rental pokemon. They just didnt have that bonded relationship that trainers had with their own pokemon. But at least they were better than no pokemon at all. Alex scratched the rental Rattata curled up in his arms. "Do best, huh little guy?" The rattata grabbed his hand with her paws and nodded. "Ratta!"
Alex laughed and looked up at the entrance to his battling field. Crap, his opponent was already there! The young trainer broke out into a jog, trotting the rest of the way out on to the acrid-smelling field. Ugh. This was disgusting. "Goodness gracious," he said alound, coming to a stop behind the other girl. "What field is this?"

"City streets field," Shina answered. "I'm Shina, and that is Rasha. Nice to meet you. Would you like first attack?" Shina offered.

The young man shudderd. "City Streets? Ugh. Ive heard of some pretty nasty cities but this is just ridiculous." Alex plugged his nose up to try and block out the stench. "First attack? That would be great! Thank you! Lets get started." Alex gave his rattata a quick pat and back up to the sidewalk, away from where the field of battle would be. "Im ready when you are, Shina!" Alex called out.
I didnt see any mention of trainer platforms, so I assume there are none.

Alex smiled back. "Alright then Rattata, lets start of strong. Use Dig!" The Rattata lashed her tail out, and began burrowing into the concrete and grime, tunneling at high speeds towards Rasha.

Seeing the concrete crack under her hooves, Rasha leapt nimbly to the side, avoiding the tunneling rodent's attack. "Let's start this off by lowering his defense with Iron Tail!" Shina called. Rasha swung her hindquarters around, lashing her shimmering tail at the smaller pokemon.

The rookie trainer winced as Rashas tail slammed into the Rattata, sending the poor creature flying through the air. She fell into a heap on the ground, but stood up quickly, mostly unharmed. Iron tail huh? Two could play at that game. Rattata, hit her with a Tail Whip!" The rodent leaped at Rasha, swinging around and lashing Rasha on the head with her purple tail.

"Dodge it, girl!" The purple pokemon swiftly ducked under the kick, sheltering herself underneath Rashas body. "Good job! Lets hit her with another Dig!" Rattata scraped at the concrete, quickly getting deep inside the street. The field was silent as she burrowed around Rasha. "Ratta!" With a cry, she burst from the ground, aiming to knock into Rashas shoulder blade.

Rattata careened into Rasha's shoulder, precisely on course. Rasha snorted angrily at the rat, dancing aside and stamping the leg attached to the shoulder to get the sting out. "Try again, Rasha! Low Kick!" Rasha lashed out sharply with a hoof.

100 Base Damage + 50 Type Advantage + 50 Stat Effects = 200 Damage
The Rattata went flying into nearby trash can, sending the garbage within sprawling out onto the street. She hopped back up quickly, shaking the grime off her fur. "Youre doin great. Use Mud Slap!" Alex called out. The Rattata lowered her tail and whipped around in a circle, sending dirt and sludge up at Rasha in a giant clump.
