 It was a rather nice winter day as Shikon dances about in the newly frosted forest. This was her home land and she was comfy with it. This would be her very first winter and the frost it new to her. She licks some off of a tree and shakes her head. "Wow that is cold." She loves trying new things and is sometimes one to pull fun friendly pranks on her friends and family. But right now she has only family. Though Friends and maybe love would be nice but right now she is looking for fun in this soon to become a winter land.

Amira felt the cooler breezes and she knew winter was on its way. She usually preferred summer, but now that she had found her true love, she knew that Amenophis would keep her warm when she needed. Today he happened to be out and about, so she took some alone time and wandered into the forest. She didn't really go expecting to find anyone, and planned on spending the day thinking about everything that had been happening.
Amira was happily getting better about meeting new friends, and wasn't feeling as self conscious about things. Although it was hard to overcome those feelings so quickly, she was definable trying her best.
As she walked through the forest, she heard a faint sound of movement in the background, but paid no attentions as she moved, figuring it was a small rodent or something.

Stopping for a moment. Shikon hears hooves hitting the ground as she wonders who it could be. She walks lightly on the ground below her trying hard not to make too much sound. Once closer to the sound of hooves she spots a purplish mare.
Stepping out behind the mare. "Hello I am Shikon would you like to play?" she wonders a bit as she awaits for the mare to speak. Maybe this mare could become a new friend to play with thought Shikon.

Amira was startled and jumped a bit at the voice behind her. With all of her recent nightmares, she couldn't be sure what was behind here, but the voice sounded friendly. She relaxed as she turned around to see the dark mare standing there.
"Oh, hello. I am Amira." she replied. "I didn't know you were around these parts, I thought I was alone" Amira continues turning all the way around so she was face to face with the new mare. She thought about apologizing for being in the mares territiory and was going to leave, but the mare did ask to play. Clearly she wanted to be friends right away. "So, you want to... play?" Amira asked hesitantly.

Shikon bows to the purplish mare. "It is nice to meet you Amira. Like I stated before. I am called Shikon. Welcome to the forest in which I call home." She stands fully up as she smiles. "My mother and father are off. And I think my Sister is out trying to find love. So I am bored. Would you like to be friends and play. There are games like hide n go seek. Tag. making leaves into a ball and tossing the ball to each other." She goes on about plays. She is still a filly at heart.
"Oh I didn't mean to startle you if I did."

Amira hung her head a bit. "I didn't know this was your home. I never meant to intrude." she said.
She lifted her head again. "Do you usually spend a lot of time alone? Does yoru family often leave like this?" She asked. She wondered because at times she missed her family. By now her siblings had to have had little foals, and she'd yet to meet them. Amira started walking toward the forest entrance as she talked.
It had been a while since Amira "played" but she thought of this as a great way to let loose and try to relax a bit more. To many things had consumed her mind, and now she felt like she could finally enjoy some time. "Whats your favorite thing to play?" Amira asked, secretly hoping that the mare would want to play tag. She hadn't played since her foal days, and usually they played air tag. "Oh, and don't worry about startling me, I am a pretty jumpy mare" she added as she giggled.

Shikon giggles a bit at the mare before her. "It doesn't matter if this is my home or not now does it? After all if I see you as a friend then it really shouldn't matter." She thinks a bit as she nods. "Yup my Mother and Father are trying for more little ones. My Sister is out looking for love and I haven't met all of those in my father's family."
Thinking on it as she smirks. "Tag is awesome. I wanna play that if you don't mind. And oh I forgot to tell you. Seeing we are friends now. If you ever have a problem. I am happy to help you out." She is going this mare her friend. Prancing in place. "So who should be it first?"

Amira was startled to hear the mare call her a friend. She wasn't used to that, especially this early in a meeting. She was taken aback, but didn't want the mare to get this feeling, so she continued on with only a minute of silence. "So do you want more siblings?" she asked. "And what about you?e Are you planning to have foals anytime soon?"
Before the mare had any chance to get out any reply to her questions, she darted over to Shkion. "You!" she said as she gave the mare a nudge on leg. She of course was referencing the mare's question about who was going to be it. She darted off, hoping she would get a nice head start by catching the mare off guard.

Watching Amira she is shocked a bit but understands what she meant by it. "Well if that is what my father and mother would be happy with them I wouldn't mind at all." She thinks about Amira's second question. "I would have to find a lover first or something of the sort to plan for little ones of my own. What about you? Are you planning on Foals anything soon?"
She stretches a bit seeing she is a fast one as she smirks. "Bring it on my new friend." She then bolts without a thought as she chases after Amira. This was fun and she is enjoying it a lot.

After the quick tag to Shikon, Amira was a little farther away, but could still hear the mares responses. She was strategically far enough away, hoping that she had much of a head start. When she saw that mare chase after her, she took off, trying to stay ahead of her. As she galloped, she answered the mares questions. "I don't know if I am ready for children," she said. "But if it happens, I would try to be the best mother that I could." Soon she saw some brush, and thought she might be able to hide behind for a moment to catch her breath. She slipped into a brief daydream of the idea of being a mother. She wondered what kind of father Amenophis would be, and if he even wanted children.

Trotting by as she heard Amira reply to her. Looking at the brush near by she smirks thinking if she were out of breath that would be where she would hind. Wondering if this new friend of hers thinks like her or not. She trots in a circle acting like she is lost as she then leaps into the brush tagging Amira. "Your it." With that she bolts off giggling.

As Amira was daydreaming for a moment about Amenophis and how he would react if they were to ever be parents. Just as she started wondering what her foals may look like, she was startled by a tag and giggling. her first instinct was to flap her wings and take off, but suddenly she realized that she was back in the game, and her daydreams would have to wait for another time. Amira took a brief moment to get back to the real world and see where the mare had gone. Once she caught sight of her, she spread her wings and took off. Amira felt she'd have a better chance of catching her new friend if she flew. She could generally cover more ground while in the air.

Shikon giggles as she stretches out her wings keeping them open as she uses them to push the wind around her body in a way that makes her run a bit faster. She leaps over a log that was in her path. Though she has wings... Shikon rarely takes to the sky. Maybe it is because she loves to run.
She has taken flight once before but that was to get away from a bear. She hasn't taken to the sky since so she isn't use to it. But she loves to watch others fly.

At the sight of the mare flapping her wings. For a moment she had forgotten that her new friend had wings as well. She spent a few moments hovering above, waiting for the right opportunity to land and tag. As she hovered, she realized that the air was a bit colder, and Amira was not a fan of all the cold. She hoped that the opportunity would arise son where she could come down and make her move. For now though, she would endure the cold and watch her friend from above, at least for a few moment.

Shikon smirks a bit as she turns to look up at her new friend and shouts. "You look pretty up there in the sky." She points out as she goes from a gallop to a trot. Enjoying the sight of her friend flying. It made her smile more as she turns her head in time to fold her wings in and dodge a tree. "That might have had ended badly." She entered a forest area as she pouts a bit turning in circles trying to find her friend but can't see her because of the trees.
