Do all the women in this village have the same sense of humor? She's not the related to Bumu-sensei, is she? He bowed his head to the new Mizukage before following his teammate and teacher. She sat down in the dirt and motioned for them to sit down. He followed suit and listened to Mizuiro's response. Tenshi wasn't too surprised by what he listed, though he was glad to have someone on his team to strive for strength, which was his weakness. After being certain Mizuiro was finished, Tenshi spoke up, "I am Fubuki Tenshi, I love sushi, my wakizashi, and training. I don't care to get dirty, extreme heights, and the ocassional ghost. Lastly, I hope to gain honor as well as mastering the art of swordsmanship." Ever since the mission with the ghosts of Kiri he had found something he hated and loved, not to mention a learning experience. It was natural for him to talk about honor, and no doubt everyone knew it, so he added a little more to give him something physiacl to work on.

Experience and Rewards

This is Otogakure's Mission and Experience Center! Here you simply get graded on the training you do! Everyone likes to get graded fairly, so the guidelines will be posted in here. Have a question?Ask. We're always glad to point things out. Still have a disagreement? Speak to another grader regarding questions.

Basic Rules:
~ Do not grade your own work. This is understandable since we don't want any unfair grading.
~ Please use the format. It's there to help the graders do their job. The quicker they can grade, the sooner you get your exp.
~ These things take time (especially missions) so please be patient. If you are still waiting after a few days, speak up in the Oto CBox.
~ If you are skipped, politely point it out and we'll catch you! Sometimes we get so caught up in our work, we miss people. It's nothing against you!
~ You are not limited to stay in your thread, however, please place a link to each thread you trained in. We do not want to be searching for it! Well... we won't... we'll just ask you to put it up before grading! xD
~ If you are grading, please put in the grade step-by-step. This will help avoid any questions as to what was given and how much of it.

Being close to his family is an important matter to him. He visits his parents whenever time allows it and keeps his siblings close at heart. To show his love for his family he wears the leather bracelets his sister made for him to keep him safe, and the pendant his brother made for him to give him courage to fight for what he believes in. Everything given to him, he treats as if the spirits blessed him with it. Of course, the door swings both ways as he is caring to those around him, each person holding a place in his heart. This is one of the many qualities in which he was chosen as a candidate for kageship.
    Suave
Growing up on the farm has given him a way with words. His soft-spoken demeanor and common courtesies gives himself a natural charm. His father had told him growing up, that manners were used everywhere and the sooner he learned them, the faster he would move ahead in life. Only once had he been disrespectful to his mother, over what he couldn't tell you, but the one thing he does remember was the beating he got from his father. He will never look at a cooking spoon in the same manner…
    Insightful
Taking the time to think things through is a great way to get thigns done quickly and efficiently. He takes things with an open mind and is always willing to learn something new. With the amount of resources he has at his disposal he can get quite a lot of information at little to no cost. This is a valuable aid to a kage and to the leader of the resistance.
    Placid
This is easy to see, especially with his soft-spoken words and calm demeanor. Anger will hardly ever fly from his mouth, unless it is absolutely necessary. He has a high tolerance for pretty much anything, though stupidity pushes his limit. If you see him ranting off in a rage, you know it's for a pretty good reason.

TAB TABb a c k g r o u n d
TAB the secrets you don't need to know

Named after his great-grandfather, Tadashi was born into this world as a normal civilian. He had nothing but the rice field his father toiled over his entire life, and his ancestors before him. He spent his early childhood years there, the only ninjas were in stories his mother told him. Over the years, his family grew as his sister, Amaya, and then his brother, Yoshi, were born. By that time, Tadashi was grown enough to enter the ninja academy, though he didn't want to. Not at least until a few months passed...

Times had been hard for the people of Oto, more so for some than for others, and people often resorted to crime and violence. When he was ten years old, he saw the corruption of man, first hand. His mother had been killed trying to defend the farm lands. No one came for them, an so it was up to them to save themselves. When the killing was over, the Sound ninja had finally arrived, but it was too late. His father taught him something that day: "Son, when everything is boiled down, everyone looks out for themselves. Always expect to be on your own..." From that point on, he vowed to become a ninja and defend everyone. He enrolled himself the next day and told his father the same words he told himself. His father laughed, "Just wait and see Tadashi. You will be just like the rest of them: dogs on a leash." Tadashi scoffed and got ready for his next day.

Training to be a ninja of the Hidden Sound was not quite what he had imagined it to be. The very first day he was given a simple test, and afterwards, he was to spar another student. This was to gauge where each were at physically and mentally. His opponent was an Anzan boy, who had managed to beat him without so much as a bruise. Tadashi had his work cut out for him if he was to defend the village. Throughout the weeks, he had made a few friends, and learned that his success was found in book smarts, and he was actually able to make physical contact with his opponent! He sparred everyday, hoping to improve his skills.

He was tested multiple times, though he never passed, he could feel himself improving. He would tell his family everyday when he got home, his siblings listened to every word, as if he were telling a story. His father, however, never said a word; not of encouragement or ridicule. Though he scored very low on his spar, he got more than enough points in the written exam and the jutsu demonstration to make up for it. He graduated the academy with the rest of his classmates and was placed on a team with two of his friends: Akimichi Cho and Maboroshi Jin, with Yakushi Siri as their sensei.

To him being a Genin meant doing a lot of chores. That didn’t bother him so much… it was his sensei that bothered him. Yakushi were rather… different to say the least. The way they always bit their tongues and sharpened their nails against each other was enough to drive him nuts, not to mention when she glared at them. People often commented how brave they were to pick such a sensei… like he had a choice in the matter. Eventually he could deal with the biting of the tongue and the eyes, but he could never get used to the nails… the nail! He had to admit though; she taught them a great deal and even managed to teach Tadashi how to wield a blade and actually hit something with it, a feat not many could claim.

He still wasn’t able to do anything extraordinary regarding missions, but his skills continued to grow while his relationship with his father continued to decline. His brother had entered the academy, following in his brother’s footsteps, while his sister remained at home to help with the daily chores. When his brother graduated from the academy, the three siblings exchanged home-made gifts. He made a belt with pouches for his brother, who gave him a metal pendant strung by a leather thong, and a wooden flute for his sister, who gave him five leather bracelets, each with a metal disc with one of the five elements engraved on it and five beads (one color for each bracelet with the corresponding color to match the element).

Time flew and the next thing he knew, the Chunin exams were upon him. Being held in Sunagakure, it was his first chance to really see the world beyond the land of rice. When they showed up, he could tell they weren’t at home. Everyone looked at them differently, and often times ignored them completely. It was rather obvious Otogakure wasn’t truly a ‘village’ in their eyes. This exam consisted of fighting and nothing else, for a three day stretch. The winner moved on in a randomly picked tournament ladder. For three days he fought to prove his village had what it took. For three days he tried to impress the kages and the spectators. He must have caught someone’s eye, for after the third day, he received a promotion.

He changed his mind when he got back to Oto. Being a Chunin was a lot more work. There was always something wrong somewhere, or someone needed a proper escort somewhere else. He still had his teammates, but now he was also grouped with others. It was odd to him, but he enjoyed working with fresh new faces. Often times after a mission, him, Cho, and Jin would rest at Doukeki to get food and practice their social skills with the women. It never got far, but it was still fun to try. The most memorable mission by far was the weirdest. Tadashi and his teammates had chased a mass murderer into the Silent Wood. Several hours later they found the man curled against the trunk of a tree, weeping, saying he couldn’t take the silent stares anymore. Cho and Jin took him back to the village as Tadashi cleared the area. He was confronted by a hooded man. He said he was an agent of Cruxis and was looking for others like him to join his cause. Tadashi flat out refused, saying he served no one but Oto. He swore he saw the man smile before saying, “Otogakure will fall in time from its own undoing. It no longer hears the song… Remember that and search us out when you understand…” The man seemed to vanish into the shadows and Tadashi was left in the shadows. He could feel the silent stares on him.

Not even a year into being a Chunin, his sensei had placed his name forward to undergo the Jounin test. Tadashi was brought to the Kage and was given a long, intense interview after taking yet another test. He had to sign a waiver saying he would not speak of either to anyone! He passed both and was given a flak jacket upon his new rank. Being new during the Fifth Dawn, he was only given small recon missions and others of low importance. When the Fifth Dawn disbanded, they were immediately presented with two new threats. The Fire Daimyo was beginning to take over their neighbor, the Fire Country, every so often sending troops into Rice Country. There was also word of the Otobe rising out of their banishment. The Fire Daimyo had sent a small platoon of soldiers to take more land from Oto and began burning the farms. The Sato Farm was one of the many victims. Tadashi pleaded to give him a team to go in and defend the villagers. The Kage refused, saying sacrifices needed to be made, and they would send shinobi once they found it to be the only threat. The Kage then forbade any action lest he send his ANBU after them.

Once the Kage lifted the order to remain, Tadashi ran to defend his home, only to find the fields burned and many of the farmers dead. The daimyo’s forces were dealt with, however, he had found his father and brother, killed next to each other in front of their farm. His sister was found inside the home, bleeding to death from the head. Her body had shut down and placed her mind into a comatose state. Tadashi carried her himself, to the Oto hospital. He returned to his home and grabbed his sister’s flute, his brother’s belt, his father’s katanas, and his mother’s silver necklace, given to her as a gift from his father in exchange for marriage. He left the farm behind and returned to his sister’s side, playing the wooden flute for her everyday. His father’s words rang in his head, "You will be just like the rest of them: dogs on a leash." He needed to leave, but how could he without being hunted? His opportunity came several months later.

The Otobe had gained enough power and conviction to attack Otogakure and take it for themselves. He took that time to grab his sister and leave the Village Hidden in the Sound. Why didn’t he stay and fight like he vowed? Why should he? They left their own people in their time of need, he was simply doing the same thing. With his sister limp in his arms, he brought her out of the village to find Cruxis. They were waiting for him, almost as if they were expecting it to happen. He left his sister in the care of the med nin, and joined forces with the unknown organization. Here he began his plot to change Oto for the better, in his own way. He would use them until he didn’t need them anymore, or until he died trying. He was given his own unit in which he uses as intel gatherer. And so here begins his new journey, which will forever change the lives of so many others…

Ninjutsu

Oto Bunshin no Jutsu (Sound Doppelganger Technique)
Based off the Kage Bunshin no Jutsu created by the original leader of Oto, this jutsu also uses no direct element to create itself and has a chakra system all it’s own. The difference between this clone and the original is that once this clone is destroyed, instead of just vanishing in a puff of smoke, a loud burst of air shoots forth to push the opponent back as well as firing at a high pitch to damage the user’s eardrums. When combined with the explosive clone jutsu, this can be a very deadly clone to have.
    Rank: B
Cp cost: 20 per bunshin and resulting CP divided by number of Clones created
    Damage:
*Damage dealt by clones reduced by 25%.
    *Popping damage = 30 - 50 + chk mod + 2 per 10 points in ninjutsu

*Any cutting/piercing will damage the integrity of the bunshin causing the unstable airwaves inside the clone to automatically trigger popping effect.
*Clone’s ‘popping’ is treated as a Ninjutsu attack and can be forcibly ‘popped’ but will only do half damage DC if they do hit.
*Clone HP: 50 + 2 per 10 in Chakra Control + 2 per 10 in Ninjutsu Skill + 1 per 10 CP over base CP
To See Through Clones: 15 + d20 + 1/2 the user's int mod + half the user's chk mod vs. d20 + opponent's int. mod. Opponent will target the real ninja among the clones
