Hug-bell was out and about that night, looking for something to do. Either more chibis or perhaps a particular chubby cat that liked sweets. What she didn't know was that there were more... Guardian cats.
The child eventually found herself in the park sitting on a bench humming a quite little tune while waiting to feel any sort of power signature so she could investigate. Even if that meant running into the negaverse, she really didn't mind as long as they weren't in the mood for a fight after all. Though if they were she at least could entertain them until back up arrived.
She was an eternal chibi now! So with her feet swinging to and fro she waited for someone to come by. The tun she was humming sounded a lot like 'to and fro, up and down, that's what makes the world go round'....

He didn't know WHY it happened. He just....couldn't have helped himself. He had been hiding out in park because it was open and the dogs here were on leashes. There was just something...grand about warm grass now, and that's when he heard them.
Birds.
Usually so harmonious, but all he could think was that they were like little feather turkeys and he was SO hungry. They just sat there, on their branches, just in reach, ready to be pounced on. They were practically BEGGING for it. Yet, after running into a flock of pigeons several times, they all flew away.
No. He needed stealth. he needed cunning.
He needed to climb into a tree! A act that, after many failed attempts, he managed.
The bird catching - he did not. They flew after he managed to slowly drag himself up a tree long ago and now he was left alone....on a branch..........without any idea how to get down.
It was just TOO high up, and he didn't want to test the theory that cats landed on their feet. He already fell a few times today to know that wasn't true. At least not in his case.
Now he was stuck, and it was getting dark.
"Mew?" He tested. TTnTT

Hug-bell had gotten up to stretch her legs. Which was very lucky for the poor kitty stuck in a tree... for she heard a mew and something seemed to tickle the back of her mind. A very faint aura?
The child with butter eyes looked around and eventually up to the tree, and further still to see a poor cat stuck in a tree. "Gosh, how'd you get up there?" She asked pausing when she noticed... does it have an eye patch?
Such an odd little kitty, she pulled out Barnaby from subspace and sat him on the ground just slightly off from being under the tree branch, "Teddy Extra Comfy Catches!!" She called out.
"Here kitty, kitty... Barnaby will catch you, he's nice and soft." She hoped to cox the poor kitty down but if all else failed she could go up and get him. Just trying this way was easier first because there was no tellings if the cat would try to scratch her when she'd go to pick it up and carry it down.

Wolframite knew this senshi. It was a little girl that he had seen several times and had even meddled with his youma flea energy collecting. Oh how the tables have turned. Now instead of a taller, older Negaverse general - he was just a cat stuck in a tree. He -- He was still a General! Just.... a very fluffy, small, afraid-of-heights one now.
Watching her, he wondered if she would just recognize him, but as she set her bear out as a massive stunt pillow to catch him, he actually considered leaping.
Then he thought of the idea of leaping through the air, falling down...down...down....and he curled his tail about the tree branch and dug his claws in a bit more. So far, she didn't know anything. What did cats do here?
"Mew?" He tried again, ears back as he watched her. He didn't wanna jump!!!! It was so far down! His large green eye watched. Not with hate or fear, but with the urgent plea that she would think of another option.

Hug-bell was looking at the poor kitty as he dug his claws into the tree limb further and his tail warped around the branch. "Okay, okay..." She said softly as she decided the best way to do this was to go up the tree herself.
At least Barnaby was large enough she could drop on him after having the cat if she found she couldn't climb back down, the child slid the bear a bit more so he was under the branch better. Then without further ado the child adjusted the ribbons on her hands and the hood on her head and started to inch up the tree.
"Now you just stay there and I'll get you okay?" She said as she scooted up and up until she was seated on the branch beside him. It was lucky to be a sturdy enough branch to hold them both for the time being, as she wasn't planning on being in the tree long.
She held out a hand and gave a small rub to his back, making sure he wouldn't hiss at her or try to claw her. "Can I pick you up?" She asked wondering if he could talk, "... can you talk like ********* does..." She asked curiously, having thought about when she'd felt this faint of an aura. Granted there was something off about it but she couldn't place what, unless whatever she was feeling wasn't this cat and was someone really far away.

He watched as she scooted up the tree and then settle beside her, wary that the branch would break with them both on it. It was a good thing she was small and him even smaller, but he didn't want either one of them on this branch for long even if a giant teddy bear was waiting for them. Waiting, he was hesitant to move, and tensed when she petted him. Yet, there was something......nice about being petted. It...made things better.
Okay, seriously now. General. Act Professional! It certainly feels nice. Just the right sort of pressure and her hands warm.....
He collected his thoughts again.
He watched her as she talked to him, and for a little girl, he had to admit it was nice to be addressed like a person. That's when she asked if he could talk, and he wondered if he should. Did she remember his voice? What would she do if she knew who he was? When he was human, he wouldn't have worried, but he was helpless now. She could turn him over to the other senshi.
He settled for a small nod, only because he was sick and tired of mewing instead of talking. "Yes." He mumbled. Slowly, he pried his claws out of the tree branch and started to scoot over to her, wary of falling, and moved up to her side.

She watched him carefully, having felt him tense up. The child waited for the cat to make the next move, when he started scooting over and mumbled a yes she smiled, "Good, now then lets get you out of this tree."
She wrapped an arm around him and pulled him closer to her chest. Of course, now the fun part would be getting down. The child pondered, she couldn't really climb down with him in one arm. So holding onto the branch tightly she slid off it and held for as long as she could to the branch to make sure their fall as a little less dramatic.
It was like holding onto monkey bars only made of wood and tree bark. When the child finally let go she ended up sitting in the middle of Barnaby both arms wrapped around the cat as they landed with a POOF of air coming from the over-sized stuff animal. She had lost her breath for a few moments from the impact but otherwise wasn't hurt.
"There we go!" She said cheerfully, once she got her breath back. And as Barnaby began to shrink under her, she stood up with the kitty; she was still holding him tight, but not too tight. "Why were you up in the tree?" She asked curiously as she tried to pull him away carefully half expecting his claws to have ended up in her skin from the sudden fall.

While he was nice and snug being held by Hugbell, he did not like dangling or falling in any way that he didn't feel confident would land in a landing he was sure of and had control over. Being reliant on anyone, especially a little girl senshi, was rather hard to do for the usually independent General, and he was left digging his claws into her uniform as they dropped and landed, his ears back and his head tucked in.
But they weren't dead and he wasn't pancake flat. Instead, he was pried off, or as far off as the chibi senshi could get him. While he tried to pull his claws back, they got snagged on her uniform, and when he tugged, he noticed it hurt a bit. This left him with one paw just stuck on her bow.
It was hard to even say these words to a senshi, but Hugbell was far from someone like Gunn or Castor, even if he could sense her energy. Did she get stronger or did he just feel too small as a kitty? Wasn't her uniform different?
"Thanks..." He mumbled, embarrassed as he tried to gently pull his claw free of her bow and failed again. "..........sorry."
And to why he was up there.
Well, that was even more embarrassing. ".........birds." Damn birds.

She giggled when he couldn't get his paw loose, "It's okay." She held him closer and holding him awkwardly in one hand she used her other free the stuck claws. "It happens."
She nodded as she cuddled him in her arms as she sat down legs crossed, The voice sounded familiar. "Birds huh? Are you hungry?" She looked at the cat curiously wondering, she had food for ********* but surely the other would understand if this cat was hungry.
"By the way.... do I know you?" She asked despite him using one word answers. Something sounded really familiar about that voice, she decided to scratch behind his ears while waiting for an answer.

While he didn't like being handled too much, being in a warm lap was far more inviting than a tree, and turned around in a few circles and sat, looking up at her as she spoke. Well, looking at her hair. He had considered just jumping off and running away now that he was on the ground, but then he noticed her long curls on either side of her face, and as she spoke, they swayed.
His eye watched as she spoke, hypnotized as his tail flicked behind him. "Yeah.....I was hungry." He said in a daze, completely not thinking he was having a open discussion with a chibi senshi he had once tried to kill and had threatened. Reaching up, he leaned up and started to bat at one of her long curls. He wanted to catch it and then bite it.
The conversation was on autopilot as he answered her, distracted as he missed catching the lock of hair. "We met before. You fought fleas." He jumped up again to try and get the lock of hair. WHY WAS IT SO FAST?!!

She giggled when her curls were batted at. "Hungry huh? I have some sweets. It's about the only thing I carry because *********' a big cake fan." She explained as she tugged her bag off that had been resting on her back.
"I mean unless you think you can eat Apples as a kitty." She pulled out a few snack cakes and opened one offering it to him as he tried to catch her curls again, she giggled.
There was a pause though when he mentioned fleas. Watching his eye patch she suddenly realized, the voice... the fleas... the colors on the eye patch she'd seen them before when he tried to kill her. There was a moment of concern, for herself or him it was hard to tell, "Why are you a cat all of a sudden, Wolframite?" She asked as she offered him the vanilla christmas tree cake.

He continued to bat at her hair, and was so wrapped up in his current mission of catching the lock of hair that he didn't even glance as she brought out the snacks. "I don't know." He replied, clearly confused why he was a kitty, but such overwhelming transformations had lost their gravity after a while.
Jumping up, he managed to catch the hair at last and bit it, claiming his prize as if he had just captured a very sly bird.

Hug-bell couldn't help but continue to giggle as he finally caught her hair. He didn't know why he was a kitty though, "Huh... maybe we should try to find ********* or one of the other cats and see if they know?"
She asked before trying to wave the food in front of his eyes. Offering it as a 'trophy' for having caught her hair, "Good catch, but my hair's not for eating Wolfra-.... Wolfy." Her voice was sing-song until she paused, couldn't bring to call him by his negaverse name. It just sounded too rough for a cat so she opted for the next best thing, a nickname!

She was right. It wasn't tasty, and he started to spit her hair out, pawing at his tongue as he got the last strands out of his mouth and then, just because his tongue was out, that he licked his paw and started to clean his face a moment.
That's when he saw the snack being dangled above. "It's food!" He meowed, jumped up to paw at and try to bring the treat to him. It didn't seem to work. Upset, he then placed both his paws up and on Hugbell's arm and looked up at the food. "Give it!" She was a senshi after all. He could make demands with her. No point in being polite.
He seemed more concerned about the treats than finding out why he was a cat.

She watched him as he tried to get her hair from his mouth, she shook her head after he'd managed to free himself of her hair.
She nodded, "Yes food." watching him paw at it was slightly amusing but she had no intention on letting a hungry animal; didn't matter if they use to be a nega officer or not; continue to go hungry.
She held the food where he could eat it, being pretty sure he didn't want to eat it on the ground. "You really should say please. After all I can choose not to feed you and let you go hungry." She added looking at him sternly. Just because he use to be a negaverse officer didn't mean he couldn't be polite.
