November was surprisingly quiet when you compared it to the months of September and October. After all, it was hard to compare such a slow and quiet time to the hectic time she had faced when the 60 civilians had gone missing and ended up in The Surrounding. It was nice but at the same time it was hard to go from such a fast pace to the slow one she was facing now. She felt like she had all this time to fill and that she had to go and do something. This something had been filled with making sure her neighbourhood was safe.

Patrol had been completely uneventful, leaving a stillness in the wind that seemed to leave the entire area around the child depth-less. There were no youma prowling around and no civilians to save from trouble. For once Destiny City seemed quiet, even peaceful. It seemed that Destiny City had finally decided to put an end to all the violence and get some much needed sleep. Hypnos could only hope it were for good, and as far as she was concerned, it would be!

Destiny City was a spiteful creature though, and after walking a couple more blocks for good measure Super Sailor Hypnos felt weird. She didn't hurt but she felt hot. It was almost a sizzling sensation rushing through her as the huge surge of Mauvian energy pierced through her much like a knife through butter. It seemed that nothing could ever stay peaceful in Destiny City, or even the same species.

The small senshi had been turned into a small cat! Of course, Super Sailor Hypnos hadn't realized that quite yet. The one thing she did realize was that she was suddenly a lot closer to the ground and she didn't know why. It didn't seem entirely unlikely that she would do something as clumsy as fall face first onto the ground but she didn't remember the pain of doing so and to add insult to injury she couldn't stand up. Needless to say, this was one confused kitten.

"Help! I've fallen and I can't get up!" A meek, mew-like sound called out.

No one was there to help her though and her pleas in the early morning silence had gone unanswered. She felt colder than she had earlier but her arms refused to wrap around her in any sort of attempt to warm her. This worried the greatly because now not only would her legs not work but her arms as well and it lead the child to wonder just what had happened to her in the brief moment before she fell to the ground.

"Anyone?" She made another attempt but heard nothing but her own voice echo around her. This left her with little choice. She couldn't stay here on the ground, especially not when the day would be coming soon. She had to get up and that was that. However, it proved to be a much more difficult task than she had imagined. Instead of standing up, she ended up rolling over. To tell the truth, it was kind of fun... at least until she rolled right off the street curb and onto the road.

Luckily there was no traffic and the shock seemed to jump start her cat body, promptly landing her on all four legs! What a success! The child was delighted to finally be standing on her legs and... staring only inches off the ground. Something was very, very wrong. The cat looked around frantically, leaping back up onto the sidewalk and then bounding down into the distance. So many thoughts rushed through the child's mind but the most frequent one aside from her cries was the one the screamed: What's going on?!

It wasn't until she came across the glass door of one of the store fronts that she stopped dead in her tracks, catching a glimpse of herself. It made no sense and made all the sense in the world at the same moment in time. It explained everything yet nothing at all. It left the child approaching the door much more closely, not gauging the distance properly and then bumping her nose against it.

"I am a kitten," she said in the most nonchalant way as she just stared into the glass.

It seemed like she would be there for awhile as she gathered her wits... not to mention figure out how to move on four legs again.
