Ice field : The temperature of the stadium suddenly drops several degrees (just enough so breath was visual and winter-wear is needed) as the stadium floor shifts for the upcoming battle. The floor turns into extremely slick ice which makes maneuverability, even simply standing, difficult. Randomly placed crystal-like pillars reach skyward from the frozen water, reflecting the florescent lights to all sides of the battle-field. This field gives a 25 HP attack boost to ICE type attacks

Zak walked into the stadium and shivered against the cold. He nearly slipped upon the ice as he made his way to the trainer's box, at least Zue would be flying and wouldn't need to worry about slipping on the slippery floor. However the cold might affect his performance. "Alright Zue lets do this," He murmured taking a pokeball from his belt and releasing the Zubat from within as they waited for their opponent to arrive.

Krimson did slip on the ice as he made his way out onto the field, his rental pokemon chittered in a concerned manner at his undignified yelp of pain. "I'm okay, I'm okay.." He muttered, knowing the pokemon would hear him. He slid as he tried to stand, but eventually got his legs back under him. "I'm Krimson and I'll be your opponent!" He called out, waving at the other boy.

"I'm Zak and this is Zue," he replied. While waiting for their opponent Zue had taken refuse upon the male's head. Zak's crimson eyes fell upon his opponents pokemon, a Zubat. Now this would be interested, he wondered how well Zue would do against one of his own kind. Peeling Zue off of his head he released the bat into the sky. "Alright Zue lets start off with a Confuse Ray!"

Krimson frowned as he watched the waves of energy hit the Zubat, disorientating it. "Try using Toxic on it Zubat!" He called out, hoping that his pokemon would be able to work around its status effect. He watched as Zubat turned towards Zue and fluttered around.

Zak watched as Zue was poisoned by the Toxic attack. He knew that Zue was a poison pokemon and poison hardly effected him, however he was not going to take the chance that it would affect Zue's performance. "Alright Zue lets use Haze and Clear everything up!"
Cold air filtered in around the Zubat's wings filling the arena.

"Lets try something different Zubat, use Hypnosis!" Krimson called out once the cold haze from the other pokemons ability had faded away. He was still riding the high that came from winning his first battle and it showed.

"Dodge it and counter with another Confuse Ray Zue" Zak ordered, hoping to redeem themselves from their last few battles. Confuse Ray had always worked in his past battles and he hoped it would come in handy in this one.
