Ozell glided silently through the sky on her blood decorated wings. Her stained claws anxiously pawed the air, itching to draw blood. Her vivid red eyes scanned the grasses for her target. It only took her a moment to spot the fluffy white critter as it loped aimlessly over the plain. The edges of her beak mouth twisted up ever so slightly. "Got you." She whispered excitedly to herself milliseconds before she folded her wings to her back and dove. Like an arrow her deadly body shot down from the sky. The wind whistled as she cut through it and before the bunny even knew anything had happened it met its end by her claws. The sweet aroma of blood greeted her nose and a pleased sigh escaped her. Unfortunately the blood was not from a good enough source to warrant collecting. So, she immediately chomped down the morsel, enjoying the tang of blood more than the meat of the unfortunate critter. Wiping her beak with a stained paw she flicked her feathered tail and turned her eyes to scan the grassland before her. Hoping something interesting would appear.

Zoey had watched the bunny from a distance, she always enjoyed watching the simplicity of nature. The bunny, so peacefully, grazed on the grass. Then, suddenly, she saw something dive from the sky and land on the bunny gruesomely. She then noticed that it was another Azrein that she had noticed. What a cruel creature, she thought. She thought it best to keep to the shadows for now. Zoey couldn't get over the cruelty of this creature, she, Zo could see that it was a mare now, couldn't be allied with the king. Worriedly, she wondered if this strange creature might be one of the Six's agents.

Ozell could feel the eyes of someone watching her. It was purely by instinct that her fierce, feathered head turned to face the patch of dark trees in which Zoey was hiding. Her dark, red eyes seemed to pierce though the darkness as though it wasn't even there. A faint, twisted grin appeared. Who do we have here? She thought maliciously. Then her eyes shifted to scan the rest of the area, as though the brief moment of locating her watcher had never occurred. She opened her wings and started galloping in the opposite direction of the one in the darkness. Flapping her powerful, red tipped wings she took off into the sky; swiftly vanishing into the clouds. When Ozell was sure that her watcher could no longer see her she changed her course. Gliding back towards the spot above a thick cover of clouds. Swinging her tail she turned and found herself looking down upon the patch of shadowy trees. Her twisted, smile grew and her eyes lit with a cruel excitement. Lets see who you are. She though before folding her wings and diving for the spot she was sure the lurker remained. She carelessly snapped multiple branches from the trees and she shot through the canopy. Feet above the ground her wings flung open and she landed perfectly behind the lurker. The malice in her eyes seemed to radiate from her as she spoke in a voice that would send shivers though most. "Is your blood, good blood?" Raising a blood-stained paw she extended the claws.

Zoey watched as the mare turned around in the opposite direction than where she watched. It seemed strange that an Azrein that fierce would leave her back open, what could this mare be doing? she thought as she continued to watch her walk beyond her own eyesight. Zoey watched the dark sky and the surrounding area and the mare still was no where in sight.
Suddenly, she heard the cracking of branches almost directly above her. Debris fell all around her, dangerously sharp branches fell while leaves cascaded to the ground. She felt a gust of wind on her backside and a large thud. Spinning quickly, she turned to face the would be attacker. This mare was creepy: her weird 'blood' inquiry and her blood-stained paw only told Zoey to be very cautious. "As of now, I don't know. And I don't intend to know." She shied away from the hoof but still stood her ground. She wasn't going to let this creepy bully think she was weak.

The edges of Ozell's beaked mouth twisted into an unsettling smile. This is going to be entertaining. She thought. "Oh? You do not wish to know if your blood is good?" She spoke, her voice purring. She started to slowly circle the mare, her red eyes locked onto the mare as if trying to see through her skin to the beautiful red blood that flowed beneath. Her almost cat like movements added to the predator stalking prey feel. Circling behind the black mare she elegantly slipped up to her side and whispered into her ear. "I want to know." Her voice was smooth and yet disconcerting.

"I know in my heart, that my blood is good, because my heart is good. My heart is filled with good intentions, and loyalty. I sincerely doubt you can say the same." Zoey spat. She did not like how this mare was speaking to her. Zo tried not to flinch as she circled her, or even when the other's flesh touched her own. "I'm sure you would like to know, too bad you wont. Now I will have to ask you to step back, please." A bit of ice frosted her voice, she got bad vibes from this mare and did not like the way she felt when she was around. Her tail flicked nervously and dangerously, showing her how agitated she was while trying to hide her small fear of the other.

Ozell trilled an unnerving bird like sound and took a few steps sideways, keeping her bright, hunter eyes on Zoey. She grinned, digging her claws into the dirt. Ooo, sweet feisty one. she thought happily. The frosty tone in her voice only making Ozell more excited about her find. Her eagle eyes read her movements and her interest became piqued. She flared her blood decorated wings and held her deadly, curved horn aloft, threateningly. "Are you sure about that?" Her cold words threatened.

"You have no right to my blood." Zoey said confidently. She didn't plan on giving any ground. This predator-like Azrein had some serious issue. It didn't seem like being defensive was getting her anywhere, she needed to try another tactic if she wanted to escape alive. "You may be able to kill innocent, defenseless creatures like that rabbit, but you have no right to me. No please, leave me be." She tried to speak politely, as politely as she could while risking her life.

Ozell was silent as the black mare spoke, but when she tried so hard to politely ask her to leave her alone Ozell couldn't hold it back. A cold, cackling laugh erupted from her. Her wings beat the air and the vials of blood on her leather necklace clinked together as her laughing continued. Then suddenly her entire body snapped back into her chilling, collected self. Her red eyes pierced the mares, glinting as though they were still laughing in her amusement. "You make it sound like I wander around killing things at random my dear." She said her chilling voice oddly bright. She took an elegant stride forward, swinging her feathered tail. "You have got me all wrong little missy. But I do believe I want your blood." Her voice shifted from light to dark after missy. Her eyes gained an excited, blood thirsty look. Oh, this mare was so much more amusing than she seemed.

"Sure you may not kill things at random" Zoey spat, this creature was making her quite angry. "But you kill things as you wish, which might as well be at random. I know your kind. You're allied with the Six." She accused. There was no way this mare couldn't be allied with them, she was purely evil. "Not only are you bloodthirsty," her voice full of disdain, "But you're cruel, and evil, and well, quite frankly, rude. But it's not like that is abnormal for your kind." She spat again, laying it all down. If she was going to die, she might as well go down with a fight!

With each word that exited the mare's mouth Ozell's excitement visibly grew larger. For such a gentle seeming creature she had a lot of spunk in her. Barely wavering in her presence and countering her with biting remarks that may have stung if she had cared what anyone said to or about her. "The Six? You say. I suppose you could consider my relationship with them an alliance." She spoke smoothly, beginning to walk in circles around her again. She was silent for a moment and when she spoke again her voice was filled with a creepy longing. "Oh, what I wouldn't give for a sample of even one of their blood." Coming around to the mare's front again she regained her regular unsettling tone. "Is it really evil to love blood so much?" She shifted and stopped facing the opposing mare head to head. Lifting a paw she extended the sharp, deadly claws and brushed the mare's black fur longingly with the back of her blood stained paw as she spoke. "Oh, just a little of your blood." Her voice an unnerving purr.

"Yes it is evil to love blood! Its unnatural!" Making sure she always had an eye on her. The creature's touch made her skin shiver as if a cold wind had suddenly appeared. "Don't you touch me, you disgusting creature. You and your way of life revolt me. May the gods' and goddess' take their wrath out on you, you abomination." She tried to stay strong and brave, but her facade was wavering. She locked her knees and stood defensively.

Ozell let her clawed paw fall back to the ground but her red eyes still watched her with unsettling obsessiveness. "Blood is natural and good. Why do you say it is bad to love it?" She asked swishing her tail side to side. He voice was a creepy purr, but held a strange note of curiosity. She was freely listening to and brushing off the black mare's sentences. Words like disgusting and abomination bounced off her like they were never spoken in the first place. Ozell easily read that her opposition was starting to lose her confident facade. But she wanted to play a bit more, to test the qualities of the mare's blood further before moving in to draw it forth.

"Its a very contradicting thing. Its not bad, because it gives us life and allows us to live. But Azrein's like you, and the Six, who take said blood, who take a life, that is what makes it bad. It is both good, and bad, depending upon what one is to do with it. You, you're blood is bad I'm sure. You do nothing good, you lust for blood and you only love taking it. That is not natural and good." Zoey countered. She was firm in her beliefs, so at least she had that to revert back to. Taking a deep breath, she calmed herself telling herself that everything was going to be ok.
