 A muscular male stretched out from his resting spot. He had slept through the day. Again. But that was normal for him. He found the days to be too warm for him and the night temperatures just right. Akito made his way to the local watering spot. He was hoping to see the intriguing vixen that was Gen.

 Gen walked along at a fairly sedate pace, enjoying the scenery and letting the heat slowly soak into her body. She wasn't one for rushing anyway, and when it was warm out it made more sense to walk slowly anyway.
She did actually have a reason for being in the area. She knew Akito lived somewhere around here, whether temporarily or permanently, and he'd invited over to visit and hang out a bit. He said something about a lake or a pond being the best place to look. Since she hadn't come across his scent so far and water was far easier to trace, she was following her nose to what smelled like a large source of water.

Green eyes scanned the surrounding area, a slight breeze picked up and a different scent was on it. He followed where the wind came from and in the distance saw a red and black figure. "Gen!" Akito happily bounded over to her. "For a while I didn't think you were going to come." His his flicked back as a goofy grin slipped onto his face.

Gen chuckled and sat, waiting for Akito to reach her. "Silly goose," she said when he got close enough to hear her without her having to raise her voice. "Haven't you ever heard that you can't rush a woman? We gets things done at our own pace."
She cocked her head to the side, a small smile playing on her lips. "Deliberately finding people is a bit harder than bumping into them by accident."

Akito blinked at the vixen. Another thing he didn't know about women. He made a mental note about that. His head tilted at her other comment. "Hmmm... So, If I wanted to find to find someone I shouldn't look for them?" He blinked and add that to his mental list of notes.

Gen reached Akito, putting her snout just under his chin then proceeded to walk by while lightly rubbing against him, traveling down his jaw and along his neck before raising her head and brushing her body against his. She hummed thoughtfully as, greeting over, she stepped back a bit.
"I don't know that that would be any more effective because you'd still be subconsciously wanting to run into them, I think. It would have to not even occur to you in your wildest dreams to run into someone before they just wandered across your path."

He tried to hold together his composer as the stunning vixen greeted him. If this was the way she greeted perhaps they should meet more often. He hopped his dark fur hid the blush that was on his cheeks.
"That would be difficult. Even though you try not to think about that said person you find yourself still thinking." Even dreaming about them... He blinked and looked over Gen, He was very happy to see her again.

Gen tilted her head and hummed, a short and monotonous little sound that often preceeded a thought turned to speech.
"Well, I guess the rule would only work for meeting new people then. That's the only way you could properly not think of someone so that you happen to run across them." She gave Akito a tiny smile. "Guess that means it won't work for us."

His tail wagged slightly and he grinned. "I don't think it will either." He chuckled slightly. He thought for a moment. "Perhaps there is a way to know when a person wants to see another..." He joked with her. "It would be better then stalking them." He could easily picture Yusei stalking someone, but not himself.

"C-confession! N-no! I don't do that!" He blushed a bright red, and shuffled awkwardly. He wouldn't stalk anyone, he doubted he had the stealth for it. He wasn't the quietest of movers either. "My brothers maybe... But not me!" Was this really helping his case? Just deny, deny, deny. Nnn... He needed to learn how to better his sentences so things like this didn't happen. He sighed in defeat.

Gen laughed softly and nudged Akito's shoulder. "You make it so easy to tease you." She pulled away and winked. "I bet you'll learn to tease back before too long though."
She paused, then asked, "So, did you have anything planned for today or were we going to just go with the flow?"

Usually Akita went with the flow, but he actually had something planned for her. "How do you feel about hiking?" He looked over her, she seemed strong enough to do it, and he didn't think it was that bad of a hike either.

Gen raised an eyebrow, curious. "I hike quite often, so I suppose I feel all right about it. If I didn't like it, I'd just settle down somewhere." A small smile tugged at her lips. "Was that part of your plan for today?"

Akito nodded. "Mhm. Well... Part of my plan." He smiled sheepishly. He also had a little something for her... "If you are ready when can go right now." He pointed to a hill. "Over that hill is the base of a mountain. The trail is faint but I know it like the back of my paw."
