Sai trotted leisurely through the tall grasses of the plains. His white scarf and long ponytail flowed behind him. He found himself once again, without Live at his side. His chosen had a way of vanishing at times, in spite of his constant worry that Sai would get into trouble with out him. The thought of his chosen made him smile one of his happy closed eyed smiles. It was cute just how worried Live would get about him. He let himself get lost in pleasant memories from the past, mainly ones pertaining to his chosen.
When Sai came back to reality he spotted someone not to far off, standing beside a small river. He squinted his eyes, trying to get a better look at the blue mare with long white hair. Drawing closer he observed the beauty of her coat and suddenly, like a light flipping on, the pieces snapped together.
"Tashi?" He greeted jubilantly as he approached her.

Sai grinned as Tashi closed the distance between them and circled around him, as if to make sure she wasn't seeing things. Her bright excited words gave him a pleasantly warm feeling in his heart. He chuckled lightly. "A long time it has been. You went and grew into a beautiful mare. I hardly even recognized you." His voice was bright and kind. He gave her a closed eyed smile of endearment. "I'm well. What have you been up to all this time?" He asked with genuine interest. He had seen so much potential in Tashi when he met the bright little foal. He wanted to know what she had been doing.

Sai's smile grew. She was just as sweet as she had been long ago, just much bigger and more mature now. He listened to her words in a respectful silence. His expression changed periodically thorough her story. A light sadness at the mention of being kicked from her home. But it quickly sifted as she went on to mention Enthallion. His hazel eyes twinkled happily as he saw, or rather felt, her great happiness. He caught onto the events that had followed between them before Tashi even spoke about them. He found her embarrassment adorable, though he didn't know that the real reason behind it was a past crush on him.
At the mention of the foals his eyes seemed to grow wide for a moment. Time had really passed him by. His pleasant surprise melted into a closed eyed smile. He was sure she would make a fine mother for them. "Well, you sure have been busy." He said brightly. "Congratulations on it all. I'm happy for you and your new family." His entire being backed up is sincere joy at hearing all the news.
After a moment he moved on to address her question. "I've been up to a little of this and a little of that. Hanging round with my boy Live and keeping him out of trouble." He replied jovially with a clear, musical laugh.

"It is a happy thing to have a family to love." Sai said cheerily. Then he chuckled at the mention of what she feared may have happened to me. "The'd have to get past Live before the Six could get to me." His tone was light and joking. But something about it sounded fairly serious about the statement.
Sai beamed as Tashi asked who Live was. "Live is my chosen." He stated, then reading her perplexed expression he continued. "Usually he sticks to me like glue. Though if I recall he was also absent from my side at the time I met you too." He chuckled and gave Tashi a closed eyed smile. "I can introduce him to you when he returns."

Sai chuckled lightly. "It is indeed nice to have someone who can watch your back." he paused and smiled warmly. "You say that your relationship with Thali isn't the same as mine and Live's they are more alike than you would think. I have chosen to spend the rest of my life with Live and he with me. Just as you have done. We know about each others strengths and weaknesses. Things that you have or will learn with Thali." His voice was calm and sounded much like a teacher as he spoke, trying to explain. "You know the only real difference I see is the motivation for the creation of the bond. Yours was love." He gave her a gentle, knowing grin. "And..."
Sai's words were interrupted by a voice calling out not far from where the two Stood. "SAI!" The voice came from a young boy with brown hair and bright green eyes. Who was swiftly wading through the tall grasses. He wore a pair of red staffs on his back. A pair of black feline ears poked from his mess of hair and a jet black wolfish tail extended behind.
Sai turned his head to give his approaching chosen a closed eyed smile. "It seems I can introduce you to him now." He said happily turning to beam at Tashi.
As live drew close he started to speak. His voice nice, though a mildly annoyed tone was clear. "Sai, I thought we agreed to meet back up three hours ago at the lake." Sai only smiled in response. Then he shifted his eyes to Tashi and raised an eyebrow in question. He didn't know this mare and had a way of being a bit overly suspicious to make up for Sai's complete lack of it. "Who's this?" He asked calmly.

Live continued to eye Tashi as she introduced herself, picking up on the fact she wasn't comfortable with him here based on how she moved back to put Sai between her and himself.
Sai smiled happily, seemingly oblivious to Tashi's discomfort. Though he knew already and was trying to make her feel more confident. "Tahsi's an old friend of mine." He explained to Live then turned to look at Tashi. "Tashi, this is Live, my chosen." He introduced swishing his golden tail.
Live gave Tashi's blue coat another look over and decided she was harmless enough. She seemed more likely to bolt than attack anyway. He took a step forward, trying to seem as non-threatening as possible. "Hey, nice to meet you Taoshira." He greeted with a closed eyed smile, like unto Sai's but not quite as warm and non-judgmental.

Live felt better hearing Tashi's bright, happy voice. He didn't sense anything off, her bright voice and cheery words where sincere and he could tell, through Sai, that what she spoke was the truth. He became significantly more relaxed and he smiled, leaning himself against Sai's shoulder. "It's nice to know that Sai can actually meet someone without getting into trouble." He joked with a grin.
Sai tilted his head and chuckled musically. "I think you start most of that trouble." He replied lightly. He was happy that Tashi and Live had already significantly begun to relax.
