The year is 2026.

Nemesis in nothing but wasteland. The planet, rumored to have once been beautiful and full of life, ended the day Sailor Nemesis died. Nothing is as it was. It's only proof of existence is the husk that remains.

Saphir, the new ruler of this desolate world, seeks to resurrect Sailor Nemesis in an attempt to restore the planet. It is his goal, dream, ambition - obsession.

Enter the Biyotiks.
These are people of abnormal existence, gathered from different places and different walks of life. They have powers beyond that of normal humans. Saphir injected them with the essence of Sailor Nemesis, creating warriors called Biyotiks to fight by his side in his quest to restore Nemesis.

Saphir of Nemesis

PostPosted: Sun Nov 20, 2011 11:40 pm

Saphir looked among the faces of the Biyotiks as they gathered at the castle on Nemesis. Here they were, some of the most powerful beings in the universe. As few in numbers as they were, nothing was going to stop them. He deeply believed that.

"The time is upon us, brave warriors," he announced. His voice, strong and commanding of all attention, echoed through the dark throne room. "This is the time we have been preparing for. This is the time for war- and a time for our victory.

"As you well know, my brother, the once great prince of Nemesis, once attempted to restore this planet. But he failed. And where he failed, we will not! Diamond stands by the side of Queen Serenity of the Moon Kingdom. She is the enemy, and he is the traitor. Do not hesitate to attack and destroy them!"

Saphir took a moment of pause to let the words sink in. He moved his arm in a sweeping motion across the room, indicating to the windows. He wanted them to see...to see the barren planet as it was now. "This is all I've known of this planet; this horrible, awful world created by criminals. This can't be everything, my dear Biyotiks. What we see here cannot be what it was in the past.

"Let us restore this planet! Let us see its former beauty for ourselves!" Saphir held open his arms, representing a familial gesture of welcoming someone home. "Let us create a world of our own."

He looked over the faces of the Biyotiks again, feeling confident in them. "We will bring back Sailor Nemesis, and she will make things right. Have faith in that."

"Prepare yourselves now, Biyotiks. We begin the battle at tomorrow's first light."

With that, Saphir left them. If things went according to his plans, he would be ruler of Nemesis, and have power over the entire solar system.

“Well, it seems like things will finally get started. It’s going to be so much fun!” Shelly’s high voice echoed around the room; she had such a bright yet bittersweet demeanor. Despite having such an innocent face she looked forward to and loved the idea of war. To her it represented a chance to truly shine and use her abilities to the fullest extent. Her eyes gleamed with joy at the thought of what was coming.

Shelly looked around as she tried to inspect those around her. She wasn’t used to working with anyone and even now she refused to let anyone hinder her.

“Well, I guess I better get my things ready! I would just hate it if I got in anyone’s way,” Shelly said with a sarcastic tone. As Sailor Ammolite she was loyal only to Saphir, and if anyone got in her way she wouldn’t hesitate to dispose of them. He had taken care of her and was key to keeping her dreams alive.

With that she left the rest and walked away to her chamber.

Ember toyed with the ends of her hair bow as a wicked little smirk spread on her lips. "I'll so enjoy this," she commented to herself, thinking wonderful thoughts of the battle to come. It made her sad that she couldn't be among the first to start the war. But it was what Saphir wanted, and Ember would content herself with it.

"So~ Who else is excited to start fighting?" She said loudly to give anyone a chance to reply.

Charon yawns leaning against a pillar with an extensively bored look on his face. Still, the usual spiel. Blah blah blah-boring~. It was only because his brother nudged him does he really stay awake.

He glances over as one of them left after Saphir's 'oh so proud' strut left the rest of them there. Everyone seemed so excited for such a waste of time. What he wouldn't do for another fine piece of a** in his bed...

Actually...

"Hm? Not really excited, Sweet cheeks. It's about time, really." He glances at his brother, "I'm surprised you're not following your owner's heels. Woof woof."

Derrick was motionless, sitting on the ground with his arms crossed against a pillar. With his cloak on his face was completely covered, making him faceless to everyone around him. Listening to all that Saphir said but ended up scoffing at the end though he was truly a mindless loyalist. He looked at the others that made their presence known by speaking out loud but looked at Shelly just before she left due to what she said at the end. Derrick sighed as he grew bored and stood up, leaning against the pillar still with his arms crossed, not about to leave just yet.

Hades scowls a little at his younger twin before shaking his head slowly. "You do not seem to be pleased with the turn of events. Does this mean that you'll actually do something worthwhile, brother, instead of always on your back?"

Whatever it seem, the brothers were different as night and day. Hades was reserve more so then his more..wanton brother. Still he glances at Ember with something resembling a vague annoyance.

"It is our most important mission. We will be able to make Saphir's-and ours-dreams come true. If we revive Sailor Nemesis, surely those of that kingdom would cower and surrender immediately.
" He was clearly seeing it in his mind. Still he shakes his head and turns to leave. "I have work to do."

"Must you state the obvious?" Ember asked Hades before he left, simply to counter the annoyed glance he had given her. She leaned against a window and flipped open her fan. This group was full of loners it seemed, each with a separate ambition under that of Saphir's. Ember wondered mildly to herself how long it would be until the Biyotiks were at each other's throats.

"Well, I'm sure father knows what he's doing," she murmured to herself with a little shrug.

With a firm and silent resignation, the young air senshi stood a little ways away from the Biyotiks, her arms fastened beneath her chest in a secure stance of comfortable modesty. Her legs, adorned in a heavily worn pair of black tights, mimicked the position of her upper half, her boots crossing over one another in a mockery of cunning strength. For years she listened to her father on the great war and of its worthy incentives, of the need to succeed where her mysterious relatives had failed. As soon as she could conceive her abilities, Sapphire trained vigorously, from day in and day out, pushing herself to be sufficiently prepared for the day she would encounter her uncle's army in battle. It was a day that seemed so distant, a day that she almost felt would never come. She couldn't help but feel somewhat nervous at the idea that she would see them all tomorrow, and it was hard for her to truly process her emotions on such an occasion.

"The time is upon us, brave warriors. This is the time we have been preparing for. This is the time for war- and a time for our victory."

Taking a moment to turn her head at the echo, Sapphire could see that her father was certainly ready for big event. It was no surprise, really; he was, after all, very much experienced with violent encounters. She couldn't help but wonder why he'd want to go through it all over again, though. With her grey-blue eyes now focused on his hands, she watched his gestures as he spoke, her body now facing him out of mere respect.

She had always been prided in her ability to listen, to give people their time to speak... yet, sometimes she wondered if any of them ever realized that she never actually did listen. Her attention had always been elsewhere, digging through the layers of thought which trapped themselves in her mind. She had yet to recall a time where there wasn't something going on in there, something of grave interest to herself...

They could care less about you, Sapphire. Your uncle abandoned you when he could have helped us restore Nemesis. He gave us no choice but to suffer, he let you inherit this planet and left it in shambles!

With this mental indoctrination firmly implanted in her mind, Sapphire had really grown tired of the reasons why she needed to train like this. All she knew was that, tomorrow, she would be fighting alongside the Biyotiks, and for the first time, meeting those people who her father despised oh so very much. Even though she had been reminded constantly about the impending battle, she still couldn't believe that the day had finally arrived. Not only was she nervous, she was really scared shitless; she had no idea about what was to come, and no amount of preparation would ever be able to make up for that. Part of her worried that things would go terribly, terribly wrong...

Slowly, the young senshi sighed, bringing her seemingly solemn gaze onto the Biyotiks remaining within the headquarters. Her father had left by now, and though she'd been around most of these warriors almost all of her life, she still felt a sense of awkward tension whenever she stood within their presence. She knew them well enough to know they had been recruited to serve her father, and she'd even spent much of her time training with several of them for years... but her knowledge ended just about there. In a way, she had intended for things to be like this; she secretly hoped she never would get to know them, especially when the realities of war meant that death was always a possibility.

As the group vaguely conversed, Sapphire slowly made her way across the room, the crossed positioning of her arms still in tact. With her eyes focused on the ground, Sophie reverted her attention to remaining senshi, figuring the least she could do was be somewhat friendly with them, even if it were to simply ensure that the group's unity could remain in tact.

"Have you all prepared efficiently?"

The words came out in a smooth and slick manner, like hot steam flowing out of a ventilator. It was an interesting contrast to her thoughts, which seemed to be so very awkward and choppy. Perhaps that was why she stood so strangely now... her voice and posture seemed to really enjoy taking turns with her general awkwardness. Tilting her head up to scan her gaze across the room at all of them, she could feel her mind mentally kicking herself. 'That is such a stupid question.'

||OOC;; Oh god sorry, this is the shittiest intro I have ever written. I didn't do a very good job with making her very in character, but... it's a start, a very rusty one at that. D: ||

[<<<>>>] Derick looked at Sophie since he felt that another person was looking at him, not directly at him, but from above. He kept his eyes on her as she made her approach to the Biyotiks that remained, though no one probably not even herself would know that he was looking due to his cloak providing a barrier for his face, never allowing light to illuminate it. He heard her question but remained silent for the moment unless addressed more directly. He pulled out a silver, metallic short rod that seemed like a hollow hilt. All of a sudden a weird sound emitted from that rod as a blue beam of energy expanded from it to the length of a sword and there was steam coming from the energy portion of the blade as the intense solid energy was hot enough to change the hydrogen atoms in the air into a gas. He looked down the blade he formed and made one quick swing. The sword's light never revealed his face during the entire action, which the sword emitted the same sound moments ago and the beam disappeared and he placed the rod into his cloak. "Are you prepared?" He asked Sapphire, which this was practically the first word he has spoken in a while.[<<<>>>]

Shelly sat at the foot of her bed. Though she had left the others behind it was easy for her to listen in on what they were saying. Nothing interesting so far. 'Oh what's this?' It seemed the princess had finally made her presence known. Shelly really couldn't care less about anyone else yet as the prince's daughter Sapphire was someone she had to respect.

'Guess I should gather my things,' she thought to herself as she got up and started pacing. She had been so scatterbrained the last few days and even now she had a difficult time concentrating from sheer excitement. She hurried to make final preparations and then let herself fall in bed as she kept listening.

'At least this way I don't have to worry about making small talk with anyone else. I really wish they would call it a night though I am sleepy and this is all a pain in the a**.' She hated the thought of having to stay awake yet wasn't willing to miss out on anything, especially since the princess finally decided to speak.

SAILOR PEARL

A pale finger ran around the rim of the cup that she had in front of her. A cup that seemed extremely out of place in a meeting, a cup that was as out of place as she was. Of course, Saphir hadn't given them the cup, and none of the Biyotiks were quite friendly enough to give her a cup, she had brought it herself. She brought many things by herself, the perks of being a sorceress. Her light pink lips curled upwards at the thought. She was more a sorceress than a senshi, she shouldn't be here. The senshi barely spoke to her. It was that one promise, that small connection, that kept her under Saphir's wing. Perlita valued promises quite highly. You either kept a promise or faced the consequences. At the sound of Sophie's voice, Perlita carelessly knocked over the glass, causing it not to crack like a normal wine glass would, but instead it seemed to completely evaporate.

She let a soft sigh escape her lips as her icy gray eyes looked up at the daughter of Saphir. "Do you really think that we plan to just throw ourselves into a war without any preparation? Without being ready? We're not pigs up for slaughter." She words came out colder than she had wanted them to. She grit her teeth as she realized that she was talking to the daughter of her, for a lack of better words, boss. She grinned slightly and added on as if no harsh words had been exchanged, "If you must know. Then yes. I believe I'm prepared for this." W

Without having the glass to toy with now, Perlita stood up and brushed off the nonexistent dust on her dark green pencil skirt. She swiftly slipped off her white blazer and placed it over her arm. With no one else to talk to, she walked over to Saphir, her heels clicking practically rhythmically. She ran a hand through her hair as she stopped beside the man and softly spoke to him so that the nearby senshi would not catch a word that was exchanged between the two. "I still hold you to your promise Saphir. Once I do what you need, I expect you to fulfil your part of the bargain." The tone in her voice was factual and she held a business-like demeanor. Before looking back at Saphir, she snuck a quick glance at her pocketwatch. s**t. Vincent's probably wondering what's taking me so long here. The longer I stay here, the more he'll disapprove of it. Deciding that she needed to leave soon, she impatiently clicked her heels to let Saphir know that this meeting must end soon.

"You know him, Sweets, he has to have a reminder that he's smart." Charon told her with a wicked grin. He stretches a bit eying each of them as prospective lays.

Hm.. He thought, Pearl's a bit of a tight-a**. So is that other guy. Gods, go get laid. Then again that's his solution to a lot of things. If they had all gotten laid more often, they wouldn't be so uptight all the time.

He wasn't.

Amused, he plays with the end of his collar- both he and his brother worn it as a servitude thing. Then again, he wore it because he was also into a few games like that.

Kinky, yes.

"So, unless they appear here butt-a** naked shaking naughty bits in my face, I don't see the point of this." Charon says looking around, "Yes, we're prepared, like Tight-a** said, it's what we've been doing since the moment we stepped foot on this buzz-kill of a planet."

He tilts his head, "I'm all for having fun because this- this is a drag. What are we talking about again? Oh yeah, the same s**t we've been talking about damn near every year on the same day for the past -how long? Can someone please tell me where things have changed in the script, I forgot my copy."

He cups his hand to his ear. "What's that little imaginary Mushroom friend? It hasn't? Really? What? Timmy's in the well again?" He looks at them with a slight devious smile, that didn't quite match. "Point being, we're ready, we're bored. Lets not get too excited and ******** up the game plan- kay?"

One thing his twin brother, Hades had over him- tact and not being a jerk. Or rather he has respect for chain of command and authority.

Charon? No such luck. He's treated everyone-even Saphir on occasions- about the same. Of course that meant he got punished a bit more then not. Though one must wonder if it ever worked.
