Grass field: The breeze from the stadium air conditioners rustles the flat grassland arena that has replaced the default stage. Small clouds of harmless pollen fly through the air from the breeze. The land is completely flat, making maneuverability easy to those build to walk on land. This field gives a 25 HP attack boost to GRASS and BUG type attacks

Maya dashed out of town into the fields beyond. She was feeling particularly adventurous today and had left her trainer, whose was still chasing after her, in the dust. Maya skidded to a stop when she spotted a peculiar bird Pokemon, one she hadn't seen before. she watched the bird curiously and couldn't help but wonder if it would make a good opponent for her.

Gabbie swooped and twirled as he flew around the field, enjoying his first official taste of free life. Having a trainer was nice, but being wild was so much better! He could do anything! Then his stomach growled, and the "anything" he wanted most was finding food. He spotted some seed-bearing grasses on the ground and dove down to land, so he could peck at the tasty treats.

Maya grinned at the unsuspecting bird and called out a challenge " mol gah!" She shot forward and launched a Electro ball attack.

Gabbie hadn't noticed another pokemon approach, and glanced up at the sound of it's call. He was just in time to get a ball of lightning to the face. "CHAA!" He squawked, stumbling backwards a few steps. Then he shook his head and glared at the Emolga. That was uncalled for! He treated the pokemon with a furious scolding of Chatter, hoping to confuse the rude rodent.

The move had been unsucsessful, but Maya decided to try pre-emptive measures and loosed a thunder at the pokemon, hoping to paralyze it

Thunder option 2 -OPTION 2: Roll two 4-sided dice in order to try to paralyze your opponent. First dice determines if it hits or not; 1-2 = miss, 3-4 = hit. Second dice determines how long the condition lasts, 1 = 1 turn, 2 = 2 turns, etc.

The Emolga didn't seem phased by Gabbie's last attack, much to his annoyance. Then the Emolga shot a bolt of lightning at Gabbie, which made his muscles seize up and twitch randomly. Not good. This time he decided to try a favorite trick of his old Trainer and began Singing a sweet lullaby.

Gabbie squawked again, a little more weakly, as another jolt of electricity shot through him. This rat was getting annoying! With a screech he flapped his wings busily to send an Air Cutter at the Emolga.

Gabbie was not at all happy at being shocked yet again. He wanted to stop this, right away. He tried Singing again. It always worked so well with his trainer.
