Wykla walked beside her big-winged blue. Several armlengths from him in fact. She had just seen him fed and could still see the outlines of the herdbeasts he'd torn into. The group of firelizards that looked to her, and probably a number of others, were cleaning up the last herdbeast now. They would be occupied for awhile yet. Perhaps she should remind them to clean up afterwards; no, Boreal never came back bloody and he would take care of the greens.
"Lets stand on the edge awhile Kameth, until your stomach settles." She glanced at him as he gave a rumble. Kameth exhaled deeply of blood and iron. I am not so full I can't glide to our weyr Mine. The teen nodded, "of course." She knew he wanted to go curl up and sleep. In fact a nap sounded wonderful. It wouldn't hurt him to stay out just a bit longer. Wykla moved up to the cliff-edge over looking the beach. Sensing Kameth come up behind her, she settled herself onto his foreleg. They could feel the wind tugging and calling them like a playful child. His wings half opened in response to the call.

Enyo unburied her small black Flit and smiled at him, "Dinchara, wakey-wakey. Lets go to the forest today ok?" She then moved away to cut some the meat she brought home with her, she would let some of it dry out to make it last longer; though he loved to eat raw scraps.Dinchara stretched and walked to Enyo making a small morning like chirp to her. He was waited for breakfast. Enyo smiled giving him some the lightly heated meat and then she made sure to repeat what she needed to gather. Once they ate she had Dinchara up on her shoulders and laying down around her neck as he nuzzled for her to pet him. She did so leaving their dorm and moving to look for Wykla; she wanted Dinchara to meet the other girl as well as her playful Flits.
Dinchara kept a watchful eye as Enyo walked them to the weyr area. Enyo asked softly around for Wykla and one person was kind enough to tell her were to look. Enyo nodded and thanked them as she moved to the heardbeast area. She smiled in her walk and began to sing softly but loud enough for the Flits around to hear her. Singing so loud tend to make her blush though it calmed Dinchara more and put him in a light sleep. Enyo was singing Dinchara's Lullaby knowing he liked that song the most.
"In the heavens starry night
The world does sigh
For the hour of rest is neigh
And thus its no time to fight
So let us stretch and sigh
For soon shall we sleep after our Lullaby~"
Dinchara gave a soft chirp and licked her cheek before yawning a bit.

Even with the wind blowing in his face, Kameth heard the singing first. He twisted his head around to look for the source. He rumbled softly as he saw Enyo. Mine, that girl is coming. His green eyes watched her approach.
Wykla was lulled by the sounds of the waves crashing on the beach and the sun reflecting off the water. Let those hard-nosed riders keep to their cold volcano homes. Malvren was perfect. The sound of her dragon rumbling made her look up at him. She leaned over to the side to peer around his leg. Wykla thought she knew who he meant. It didn't take much for her to spot Enyo walking toward them. Perhaps she is looking for me, perhaps not.
They would find out soon enough. Until then though, Wykla leaned back against her dragon's foreleg and looked out over the ocean again.

Enyo smiled coming closer and calling out, "Hi Wykla!" She smiled as her shout woke Dinchara back up and her running caused him to look around. She soon reached close to the large blue dragon and she stopped not wanting to get to close in case he didn't want her near him. She smiled and looked to Wykla, "I hope you've been well. I wanted to ask you if you could help me get some things from the forest...I don't like going in alone. Oh and I brought my Dinchara so he could meet you and the others." Dinchara looked to the blue dragon and made a friendly sound as he then stood to sit on Enyo's right shoulder.

She had turn back to the girl as she was indeed the object of her search. Wykla rose to her feet and unnecessarily brushed her rump off. Kameth was clean enough that she wouldn't get dirty. She nodded and walked over. "Hey Enyo. I've been alright." A frown crossed her face at the mentioned request. Still she put that aside to look over the little black.
"I didn't know you had a flit. Hello Dinchara. I'm sorry, mine are finishing up. It might take them awhile." The young teen stood rocking on her heels for a moment. "You said you needed to go into the forest? How far are we talking? Kameth peered down at the black and exhaled.

"Just far enough to gather some things to em-border some pre-made shirts," Enyo smiled and pet Dinchara under his chin making him purr a bit. "Dinchara is friendly...To females, is is my little guardian though and wants me safe at all times. You can pet him, he wont hurt you."Dinchara smiled and moved to walk down Enyo's right arm to be closer to Wykla's reach.

Her head tilted slightly to the side as she considered what was asked. They weren't really doing anything at the moment, and it sounded easy enough. Take her there, stand around looking impressive, bring her back. Can you fly that far Kameth? I'm not going to let you go between with a full belly like that. It'd sour the meat. Kameth rumbled softly, I can fly. It was his belly after all.
Satisfied, Wykla turned her attention back to Enyo. She arched her brow at the mention of the flit's protectiveness. "Well don't tell him females can be dangerous too. I've got four, not really worried he could hurt me. Plus if he did he'd be answering to Kameth." Confidence that came from years with flits had her reaching out to scratch his eyeridges. Finally she took her hand away and looked back at the other girl.
"Alright we'll take you. I will need to get Kameth's riding gear. If you need anything, get it now and meet me back here." Wykla didn't wait for a reply. She turned and in a couple seconds was mount on the blue. It paid to be small and nimble. With a mental nudge, she sent Kameth over the edge of the cliff in a quick dive to their weyr. She slid down his side as soon as he stopped moving and got his wings out of the way. The harness was right where she left it. Back on again and the blue was flapping back up to the top. Kameth landed in short order and Wykla began to rig the leather harness for two.

Enyo blushed nervously as she looked to the blue Dragon and Wykla, "I...We...Fly?...C-can Kameth carry me with you?"
Dinchara flue off Enyo and nudged her closer trying to tell her to give it a try. Enyo had never flue before and thus was very scared but she still trusted Wykla to not let anything bad happen she just worried it would be to much on the Blue.
I guess Gaia glitched...I had replied and had more then this but this is all I can remember...forgive me

Wykla looked up in the midst of buckling a strap down. "Of course fly. Did you really expect to walk all the way there, AND back lugging all the stuff you want?" She snorted. Doing extra work had never appealed to her. Kameth would make it easier on both of them.
"Course he can carry you Enyo. He picks up herdbeasts, and you certainly ain't as big as one o' them. We've taken passengers 'fore too. Didn't loose a one between. If it makes you feel better, we'll just be flying straight. He just ate, and I doubt you have wherryhide flight gear." She finished buckling the straps, and then doubled checked them with Kameth to be sure all felt right.
"You got everything you need right?" Wykla had settled herself between the first two neck ridges. Holding onto the one in front of her, she leaned over and held out a hand. "Step up onto Kameth's leg then swing your leg over his neck." The dragon helpfully lifted his leg to provide a platform.

Enyo nodded and stepped up; this was her first time on a dragon and she was a bit shy. She took the hand as she slipped her leg to the other side and held on to Wykla, "Sorry I don't have the flight gear...Do I hold to you?"
She asked trying not to move to much as she held lightly to Wykla's waist; she looked to the ground rather happy it wasn't to far away but worried how high they may have to go. Dinchara gave a comforting chirp as he waited for them to leave.
Glad to know it seems I wasn't going crazy there.

Wykla made sure Enyo settled behind the ridge behind her. "Unless you fly a lot you're not likely to have riding leathers. You can, but I got the harness so you could buckle yourself in." She pulled up the straps that clipped in to either side of the wide leather belt. It didn't take her long to see everything secured.
"Alright, Kameth. Nice and easy and no dropping off the cliff." She said aloud for Enyo's benefit. "Tell the flits where we're going and they join us once their done." Ready, the bluerider signaled the dragon to take off. Kameth crooned and raised his large wings. He crouched then leaped strongly up, taking that all important down sweep. With enough room he glided out over the cliff and beach. He was hatched to fly! The blue banked easily to come about and headed for the forest. His wing beats were slow and steady. Gradually he gained height until the tops of the trees were the same distance below him as the beach to the top of the cliffs.

Enyo watched with awe as she held to Wykla; her heart was beating deeply but not with fear. No Enyo was excited and very happy to know the feeling of flying. Dinchara flue above them to watch Enyo and stay out of the blue's wing span so he didn't cause any problem. Enyo smiled and spoke with joy, "This is SOO COOL!"

The teen barely caught the words before the wind snatched them away. She had to laugh. Enyo must not have been flying before. While Enyo enjoyed the wonders of dragonflight, Wykla began searching for a place that might suit them. She had no idea what exactly the candidate was looking for. If this is not the spot then we can search for more. The blue responded calmly.
There's a spot there Kameth. Lets try that. A couple of short circles later and the group was on the ground. Wykla peered over her dragon's shoulder at the foliage. "Is this..." She didn't get to finish as four firelizards popped into the air. Three set up a noise as the bronze came in to land on her shoulder humming. "I see you guys finished. How's this Enyo?"

Enyo smiled and looked around, "I see some things there...Uh...How do I get down?"
Dinchara made a laughing sound and flue to the bush Enyo pointed at. He sniffed around then squealed as he backed from the sharp branch he poked his nose onto. Enyo covered her mouth to stop from laughing a bit as Dinchara being curious like that. She looked to Kameth, "Thank you for the flight."

Wykla grinned, "I'd say the same way you got up, 'cept backwards. Just unbuckle yourself and slide right down his side. Kameth isn't so big and he'll crouch down. Some of those bigger dragons ya have to jump from neck to leg to ground. Not so easy for someone as short as me." With Kameth obligingly crouching she slide right down the blue side to show Enyo how it was done. "Just like that."
Boreal hummed and she arched her brow. What was that black getting into? Hopefully he wouldn't find anything dangerous. Though Kameth should be able to scare anything away. "Alright, so what do you need?" The blue turned his head to watch the girls dismount. He blinked as Enyo thanked him.
