I stayed at my boyfriend's house this weekend, as in, his parent's house.

This morning we're, you know, getting intimate, but we didn't have any condoms because we used them up the previous night. So we're going down on each other, and it's all great.

After we're done, we're cleaning ourselves off and I notice I am absolutely covered in blood. The sheets are covered in blood too. Like not even in the places you'd expect, but just somehow all over the place.

My boyfriend's like "OMG are you ok?" and I realise that it's that time of the month and I'm absolutely mortified and explain. He was so nice about it though, which is great because I might have just died of embarrassment if he was super grossed out.

I said I'd help him wash his sheets and own up to his parents and face the embarrassment but he told his mum that he had a bad nosebleed instead (he gets them a lot so it's not unusual). I kinda wonder how much she believes that because there was an awful lot of blood. Oh well.

tl;dr my boyfriend earned his red wings without knowing and I ruined his sheets.

I have absolutely no idea. I did ask him whether he noticed and he said he didn't at all. I mean he was under the covers so I guess it was dark so he couldn't see. But as for the taste? I really don't know. I guess he was mostly focused on the c**t area, so maybe he just totally missed the blood? I don't think I saw any on his face when he came back up.

But I mean, it must have been on his fingers at the least, and I don't understand how he couldn't notice that on his fingers afterwards. It was bright in the room so he must have seen it when he got back up, surely?

Really I'm as confused as anyone. And I'm really not up for bringing this topic up again with him.
