Humming something that sounded suspiciously like 'The Imperial Death March' Mandy approached her ghoulfirends door basket in hand. She gave a courtesy knock on the door before waltzing in, knowing she was always invited in.
"Hey Winnie~ You ready? I brought a blanket and spookies, made them myself!" Mandys voice was deceptively cheerful for such an ominous statement, Alwine would know by now to fear Mandys attempts at cooking.
"Oh! I also tried to bring some vodka but Ma got into it. Don't suppose we could take some of your tea?" Mandy loved Alwines tea.

"Vodka?" Alwine was pinning a lace doily over top of her neck stump. "We need to be sober for this, I'm sorry. You know I don't handle drinks too well..." The ghoul shrugged before standing up. Nearby, there were two canisters that were sweating from the hot liquid stored inside of them. Alwine's creeper Sadako Doll was standing next to it, staring at the condensation like it was a five-spider rated movie.
"I have tea ready in those," Alwine pointed to the canisters, even as bandages were seemingly wrapping themselves around her arm. Alwine's gaze was focused on the basket, though, trying to see if any of Mandy's spookies were crawling away.
Judging from the way the ghost was darting from place to place and putting on two-times the normal amount of her bandages, Alwine was pretty nervous-- and it wasn't about the date.

"Yes, but a small shot wouldn't have been bad for the nerves." Mandy commented idly as she picked up the tea and placed it inside her basket, something hissing ominously from within as she did so. Sadako was then scooped up and placed on Mandys shoulder as she was accustomed to doing with her own Samara dolls.
Trailing back over to Alwine she palced a hand softly on a bandaged arm. "Hey, don't worry. I'll handle everything ok? You just enjoy yourself." the last was said with a cheeky smile and wink.
"Now come on! I want us to have as much time as possible to enjoy ourselves!"

Alwine put her hand over the one Mandy had on her shoulder and gave it a squeeze. "I'll do my best, I promise. I just... I don't know anything about these... you-know-whos."
Sadako was completely still on Mandy's shoulder, almost like she wasn't there to begin with. It was no secret that the Doll wasn't limited to Alwine's room-- how else could stacks of abandoned VHS tapes in the cafeteria and other areas be explained? Alwine only hoped that the dolls hadn't multiplied TOO much.
Alwine floated past her ghoulfriend and opened up the door. "I'm as ready as I'll ever be, though I'm not sure the gym is the best place for a date..."

"Thats all I ask. On them though... Well....I only really know Him. His good at inspirational speeches but gets all b***h face if you complain about him accidentally killing your friends. Oh! And one of them helped out in Sex Ed..." Mandy shuddered, repressing the memory.
Mandy smiled at Alwine's politeness as she stepped though the door, pausing outside with her arm up in clear invitation.
"You where the one that originally suggested it." Mandy knew that had been a joke but hey technicalities. "Besides! Who knows! We might get entertainment with our meal."

"Dee, are you sure this is really such a good idea?" Alwine glanced up as a wailing shockput sailed through the air above them. "I mean, I know you were hoping for a nice picnic in the middle of a spaceous field and all..." Another one zoomed through where her head would've been if she had one. "... But I really don't think one in the middle of the track and field games is such a good idea!!"
Alwine reached out and yanked Mandy to the grass as another shockput zoomed by.

"Okay, I know I said calmer..." Alwine glanced around. "But there are so many bugs here...!!" Alwine was floating about seven inches in the air to avoid Nurse Cricket's 'helpers' as they crawled about their picnic cloth.

"I can't eat here..." Alwine put her hands on her hips. "The pumpkins are watching us."
Indeed, there was a litter of pumpkins in one of the corners of the Sex Ed room. Whether they were minis or real... Alwine didn't want to eat by them either way.

"Now you're just being silly!" the haunt threw her hands in the air as students practiced using their FEAR all around them. "I know you like getting close to the action, Mandy, but in-arena seats? We're going to have to go back to the Nurse's office at this rate!"
Alwine was so worried that she even braved picking up one of Mandy's spookies, but she realized her mistake when it latched onto one of her bandages.

Mandy blinked in slight surprise as a shockput whizzed over her shoulder, taking a startled looking Sadako doll with it.
…It was more the dolls murderous looks when she finally made her way back to their spot than Alwine’s protests that finally convinced her another spot might be better.
Inspecting the slightly bruised minipet as they dodged around projectiles she got the perfect idea for their next spot.

Mandy slammed the door to the classroom closed behind her, wide eyed and chest panting as she felt the tentacles slam against the door.
“Er…maybe not. I should probably check with Professor Malcolm before hosting CLIFF again as well…”

Mandy was busy wrestling with one of her spookies to stop it from eating a centipede, she did not want to end up on the wrong side of the Nurse.
When it barely escaped with a snap of cookie dough she decided maybe they should move onto another spot.

“Winnie they’re just pumpkins.” Mandy whined as she was dragged out from her perfectly acceptable picnic spot. “It’s not like anyone’s used them yet!”
Looking slightly disgruntled Mandy felt perfectly justified in her next idea.

“But look,” Mandy argued pouring herself a cup of tea, “perfect entertainment just like I promised!”
“Besides if they can’t dodge civilians then they clearly need more practice.” One of the fighting students let out a scream as he was cut, a splatter of blood landing in Mandy’s cup.
She took a sip, “…Hey is this a new flavor?”

The Sadako doll was creepy enough as it was. But when it was covered in the off-green blood of some monster or another, it looked practically... well, Alwine couldn't think of a word for it other than 'demonic'-- though she didn't want to insult her demon friends.
She cleared her throat before gingerly pulling away Mandy's cup and not-so-gingerly tossing its contents over her shoulder. Some ghoul in the background shrieked, "MY EYES! THEY'RE SCALDING!" but Alwine ignored them.
"Believe me, it wasn't a flavor you would have liked," she said. She re-poured the tea and leaned forward to give it to Mandy as a patchwork's arm went flying over her neck.
"I wonder..." Alwine decided not to finish her sentence. She was wondering what Professor Red would have said if she had seen them on the field having a picnic. It would have been terrifying, but somehow it seemed wrong to even question it after the field trips' events. So she just waved off her dangling sentence and somehow drank her tea. Somehow. No one saw her do it. She just... did.
