Roll a six: Electric Field: The field is completely flat. Standing at the four corners and at the exact center of the field are five electrical towers that stand at six feet in height. These release static discharge across the field at random; electric attacks may be able to amplify themselves by using these stray charges to their advantage. The discharges also programmed to encourage pokemon to avoid standing in one location for too long This field gives a 25 HP attack boost to ELECTRIC type attacks.

Luna was sitting around the stadium, just waiting for someone to come by. Not much activity had occurred since the mist incident - some people seemed to be recovering from the whole ordeal. But she was just so bored.
Kuu, her honchcrow, fluffed her feathers sympathetically. Kuu would have been even more sympathetic if her trainer had not let a bird pokemon out in a field full of electricity, but eh. You can't always get what you want.

Patrick entered the stadium, William safely in the confines of his pokeball. He was bored, okay, and the officer did feel pretty guilty about not exercising his new rattata. The guy was a little ball of energy from the time that he had got him and was always ready for a fight, it seemed. Who was he to refuse a battle every now and again for the little guy?
"Hey, want to battle?" he asked the woman at the other side of the stadium, going up into the platform and releasing William from the pokeball.
William, sat at Patrick's side, looking around with his head held high and alert. He didn't particularly care for the electricity out in the field that made his hair stand on end. He shuffled uncomfortably by his trainer's side and attempted to lick his fur down. God, he hated electricity; it turned his regal and refined look into one of a street rattata.

At the word "battle," Luna visibly perked up and grinned. "I've been waiting all day for someone to say that!" She responded enthusiastically and nodded to her Honchcrow.
The Honchcrow took off into the air, soaring cautiously above the stray electricity. She eyed the rattata carefully, doing her best not to dismiss the pokemon. She had to take every opponent seriously.
"Okay Kuu, let's show them how it's done. Screech," ordered Luna as she slapped her hands over her ears. Seconds later, an ear piercing noise sliced through the stadium.

Patrick smirked at Luna's enthusiastic reply and looked down at William as the Honchcrow soared in the air. "Well, go get 'em, William!"
The rattata gave his trainer a disgruntled glare, before running out and squeaking irritably at the bird above him. How dare that bird fly above him!
"Rattata!" he chattered, in an attempt to show his desire for the bird to come down from the air.
The rat like pokemon winced as the male above him screeched. God, that hurt his ears. That insufferable rock for brains! He'd show him!
"William, use quick attack!" Patrick yelled at the huffy rattata.
William did as he was told and attempted to jump high in the air and hit the flying honchkrow above.

The rattata could not quite reach the hochkrow. Although birds couldn't quite smirk, the smirk just seemed to exude off Kuu's face as she flew just a bit too high for the rattata to reach.
"You're not going to reach us like that anytime soon," Luna taunted, all in good fun of course. "Let's wear them down Kuu, Screech again!"
And yet another ear piercing cry struck through the stadium

William landed on the ground and gave an even fiercer glare at Kuu. Oh, how dare he! That hit was supposed to make it! Of course it was that bird brains fault, not it! He didn't do things wrong.
The rattata grimaced as another high pitched screech went through the air, his ears flattening against his head. Damn, that hurt!
Patrick snorted at Luna's taunt. "Oh yeah? We'll see about that." he said, before glancing back down at William. "Hey, William. Quick attack, again! Let's prove 'em wrong!"
William ran around in circles, in an attempt to get some speed his attack before lunging at the bird up ahead. Surely he'd hit him this time!

"Nice," commented Luna as William launched into the air once again to give a good scratch to Kuu's leg. She could appreciate a good move, even when her pokemon got hit in the process.
"But Kuu, you won't let that rat do that without fighting back, would you?" She urged her own pokemon. Kuu snorted. Of course not! She didn't even let her own teammates tease her without giving them a piece of her mind.
Luna laughed at the bird's indignant squawk. "That's what I thought, so let's show them your night slash, eh?"
The hochcrow immediately dove down at the rattata, wings glowing with a dark energy.

NOTE: I just am editting this in all threads. I had changed the HP system without even realizing but the changes are good so I'm keeping it. All pokemon that only have one more stage to evolve to have 900 HP, so thus your rattata has 900 HP :3

The rattata gave a victorious squeak as he managed to scratch the Kuu, his agile body falling on all fours. He turned around and gave a satisfied twitch of his long whiskers, somewhat upset that he hadn't done even more damage. Ah well though, that would have to do for now. At least he hit him last time, unlike the last move (which, if he ever retold the story would be a fluke! A fluke! Just a stroke of bad luck! He didn't make mistakes!).
"Good one, William!" Patrick shouted at his pokemon enthralled, taking interest in the fight. It was surprising really; he didn't expect to enjoy battling this much.
William gave out a pained squeak as the bird hit him, falling to the side as the dark energy hit him. He wasn't about to be thwarted by that though. No way! To admit defeat that would be...absurd!
"C'mon, William! You can defeat him! Use Tail Whip!" he exclaimed, at the rattata.
Doing what his trainer commanded, William started to whip his tail back and forth.
