There was nothing in front of her but the whispering breeze that floated towards her nostrils, the calm waters growling as they collided with each other. She stood, knees locked, on top of a miniature dune that bordered dirt and grass with sand, simply enjoying the simple pleasures that these lands had to offer her; the air scented with the salty odor of the ocean mixed with the lilac and soils of the flowers behind her, along with the gentle air toying lightly with her mane, ears, and tail. Nothing had ever made her feel at peace such as this; the simplicity and balance with the world that existed around her. She stood here, now, in this virgin place to her hooves; however, even such a place where she had never been to yet before felt as if it was all familiar, just the same. She had seen many other beaches such as this one; perhaps this is why she had such a feeling? It wasn't entirely her fault, regardless, for all she had done since a young, innocent age was travel the lands thoroughly, perhaps only very few places left unseen by her eyes, by this point of her life. Sure, she wasn't as young as she used to be, but she was no-where near senior-ship, yet! She had plenty of youth still buried beneath her skin!
Although she may be physically solitary, to her knowledge, she still did not feel alone in this wide, open area. Not even a bird or a gull drifted by in the sky above, and she still felt just as comforted and surrounded as she ever could be. Was there truly anywhere that she didn't feel at ease, feel so much at home? She also was aware that there was plenty of other loners and wanderers out in the world, but yet out of all of those she had encountered, none seemed to feel the same way or have ever seen as much of the world as she had. Could she ever meet such an individual? Perhaps one that could even contribute to her knowledge of the world as her past mentor had once done? Such information could give her a new set of eyes to the world, perhaps expanding it beyond the borders that were per-existant in her mind.
