Personality: A good natured, good humored girl. She is also quite serious when the time calls for it. She is logical and spontaneous, kind and dangerous.
History: Rhiannon lived a fairly decent life. She had a family that loved her and friends the surrounded her. She loved to sneak around after dark and hide in the trees, simply to watch the people go by. One night, she was walking alone when she felt this odd presence; like someone was watching her. Out of no where, a man with eyes of fire and a gun in hand, ambushed her. Her death was tragic, but painless. She awoke, dazed. Soon she realized that she was not awake, she was dead. Panic siezed her body as she looked down to see a chain attatched to her chest. Tears formed in the corners of her eyes. A slight sound interrupted her mourning. She turned in surprise to see a woman with short black hair dressed in black and a white robe. She looked calm and stern at the same time. Rhiannon was told she was going to a better place, and all went white. When Rhi arrived in the Seireitei, she was confused as to what had happened. She looked around her. Everyone was wearing black robe-like garments and carried a sword. Frightened, she looked for an exit. Then, her eyes came to rest on a single person: the woman who she had seen right after her death. After introduction, Rhi learned the woman's name was Suì-Fēng: captain of the 2nd division of the 13 court guard squad. Her division specialized in Stealth Force and Punishment. Much to her surprise, Rhiannon was invited to join the squad. Suì-Fēng saw potential in her. After much training, Rhi became a well known assassin amoung all squads, but she was more fit to be a leader. There was soon an opportunity and she seized it. Rhiannon Kitsune is now Captain Kitsune of the 7th division.
Zanpakuto Name: Burakkusuta
Sealed State: When not in Shikai or Bankai form, it appears to be a regular blade. However, it always has a faint glow due to Rhiannon’s Spiritual Pressure. If it gets stronger, the blade’s glow becomes brighter. The handle is black with a silver hand guard and small stripes of shimmering purple.
Zanpakuto Spirit: A purple dragon
Release: For Shikai – “Glow Through The Night! Burakkusuta!” For Bankai – “Shine Through the Darkness! Burakkusuta Yoarashi!”
Shikai: The handle remains black, but with both silver and purple streaks. The whip is long and sharp like a flexible blade. It is black. When activated, Burakkusuta shifts from a simple blade into a very long, very dangerous whip. Not only does it travel at a great speed, it shoots out sharp strikes of spiritual pressure that act as spikes. It is also able to disarm an opponent by wrapping the whip around the other person’s zanpakuto.
Shikai Abilities:
* Kagayaku kamisori - means "Shining Razors" slings small, shimmering blades through the air, surrounding the opponent and cutting everything in its path. They seam like tiny stars, but very leathal.
* Kaze no arashi - means "Wind Storm" when the phrase is said, fast swirling motions with the whip cause powerful gusts of wind and the occassional tornado that can sent the opponent soaring backwards with incredible force.
* Burakkuhōru - means "Black Hole" creates a large black hole that swallows up the opponant and relocates him/her, disorienting them.
Bankai (optional): The air surrounding Rhi shines with a bright, white light: her spiritual pressure. The whip retracts into its original shape, only larger and the steel is purple. A manifestation of Barukkusuta's spirit appears. It comes in the form of a large purple dragon.
Bankai Abilities:
*Amegafuru hoshi - means "Raining Stars" Barukkusuta whips her tail, sending millions of "stars" at the opponent. They are really small, extremly sharp blades. It is an intensified version of Kagayaku kamisori.
*Shiroi yoru no bakuhatsu - means "Blast of White Night" the whip returns to blade form only larger. When driven into the ground, it creates a giant explosion of white spiritual pressure that is very distructive and can be deadly. If the attack itself was not good enough, the aftershock can create as much damage as the original strike. This is her most powerful attack.
*Yami no shōgekiha - means "Shock Wave of Darkness" Burakkusuta's dragon form roars and releases an incredibily powerful shockwave. When inflicted, the opponent is temporarily blinds the opponent, surrounding them with darkness.
