Dark tended to the barn for the day. The work wasn't that hard but to feed seven to ten azrein took a lot of food and water! The Amazon was at least glad for the work as she toiled about the farmyard and the cabin and the stables. Nailiah had been grazing in the fields and ever so often she would send the mare a greeting via the mind. It's what happens usually when one was bonded to one of these mystical creatures. She gave a grin thinking about how they met, but then was curious as to why she had not yet met others like her and Nailiah. She knew there were other Bonded pairs out there like her such as the King and Valdien, but she did not know of any others besides the Royal Line which fascinated and yet disturbed her. However, the day wasn't going to go on much longer and there was still plenty of work to be done. The warrior brushed her brow from her face and continued to bustle about. Nailiah had of course been grazing as soon as she awoke. The mare had a hearty appetite of course, and Dark did nothing to bother her. She had greeted the azrein who were with them that night, particularly Pheonix, D'mitri, Shadow, Aquaria, and Charcoal. She doubted those five would never leave the lands that she had learned to call home. It actually pleased her that there were others who would want to stay. But then again Dark was the only human here. Nailiah wondered if the wild woman ever got lonely for human companionship just as Nailiah would yearn for a mate. It was one of the reasons why she hesitated to find one for herself. The mare's deep bond with Dark was something that she would be lost without. Which made her wonder why so many other azrein that were with their cause to be like such - no bonded. She had yet to meet any others who were like her save for Valdien, King Azreth's azrein, bonded, and best friend. It was obvious that the two were meant for each other just like Dark and Nai were meant to be. The white mare was quite sure that there were in fact others like them and were probably herald around the castle. She'd have to convince Dark to make a visit eventually!

Gabrielle pulls up to a stop noticing a mare azrien grazing. She is pure white as fresh fallen snow, and blazing red hair as if the last rays of a sunlight touched her hair showing all her beauty. Next came the mares grey eyes that seemed to be almost silver. The mare wares a beautiful necklace and bracelets that match her eyes.
Gabrielle walks closer liking to visit another azrien like herself. She made sure that the other mare herd her approch so as not to alarm her once she spoke. "Hello. I have been traveling towards the palace and came across you. I hope I am not trespassing. My name is Gabrielle." She says warmly hoping she is giving a good impression. She made sure that her wings where tucked in so as not to damage them. She stood with her hoofs stright and no fiddling. Her tail moved in a friendly manner betraying alittle excitement.

Nailiah raised her head, shaking the hair from her face as she did so to survey the area. Her ears flicked as she heard something approach. The mare turned as a voice spoke to her, her eyes falling on the form of a very beautiful fae. Her coloration ranged in light hues of purple and blues. Her wings were of a darker shade that went lighter toward the tips. Nailiah was slightly taken aback by the color of her eyes - almost like hers! She was also prettily decorated with jewels and a necklace that looked like a crescent moon.
As she was greeted, Nailiah gave a small bow to show that she wasn't hostile. Her tail flicked behind her idly as a smile frame her mouth. "Greetings to you, Gabrielle. No trespassing at all." Her head tilted as she spoke about the destination. "The palace? You're actually not too far. It's a week or so walk from here." She then gave another bow in more of a formal greeting. "My name is Nailiah. A pleasure to meet you, Gabrielle." Nailiah then gave a quick look over her shoulder wondering where Dark went. It was a wonder that girl wasn't around whenever other azrein appeared, unless she was that busy with chores.

Gabrielle bows in response to the pretty mare formal greeting. She smiles warmly. "A pleasure to meet you as well Nailiah. I am relieved to find I am close to the palace. You see I am following a Pull in that direction." She hestiates before continuing. "I believe I will find my destined Chosen there. Would you happen to know anything of bonding to a chosen? Are there things I need to be warned not to do?" Gabrielle felt uneasy about this because she'd never been around someone who bonded themselves to a human before. Sure she heard about chosen but it seemed more a myth than fact. Her tail was swishing almost violently showing her agervation of not knowing what is laying in wait for her. The unknown is always hard to handle.

As if on cue, the human form somersaulted right onto Nailiah's back. The mare flinched a little more in reaction than anything as she now bore the weight of her chosen. The human crouched low on her feet and hands not sitting as normal folk did. "Nai, you're getting better at this. I was abou--Oh! Hello!" The amazon female waved over at the new mare. "She's pretty. Whose you're friend?" Dark patted Nai's neck as if encouraging her to speak. The mare simply snorted. "Her name is Gabrielle and she's searching for her chosen. I was about to answer her question...." Nailiah craned her neck to get a better look at Dark as the human made an "o" face in understanding. "I see, I see...Well go on! Answer her question!" Dark slapped Nailiah on the side to which the mare simply used her tail to swat at the amazon. The girl chuckled as she began braiding parts of the horse's mane.
In any case, as you can see, I am bonded. Her name is Athari the Dark One, but she simply goes by Dark or Athari. We found each other during a vicious storm one night, and well the rest is history. I didn't know she was my chosen for I didn't feel the yearn or the pull. We came together at the right moment it seemed. We grew together overtime and it was when we suddenly realized that we were in fact a bonded pair. Funny how things work out." Nailiah snorted shaking her neck as if to warn Dark she was braiding too hard. The human replied in patting Nai on the neck apologetically. Nailiah whickered then continued. "The one thing I suggest is to never ignore that pull. Never ignore your chosen. Always go for what you feel and how you feel. And once you find your chosen, you'll know. You'll know each other inside and out. After that, the rest will be your history." Nailiah craned her neck to take a look at Dark who seemed to be petting her back. The two were having some sort of connection and intimate moment of loving each other all over again. "You'll never be alone once you find your chosen, Gabrielle." Dark grinned looking over to the mare. "Things will be different and you may have to get used to each other, but you'll never be alone." The human scratched at Nai's ears and neck to which she nickered in thanks. "Are you still scared though? You shake like a leaf!"

Gabrielle winces as the human jumps onto Nailiah's back without what she could see any warning. Her first impression of the human seemed to be of a wild amazon, full of life yet also, after her speaking little to her seemed to be friendly as well. She was amazed that Nailiah found her chosen and happy for her. She watched the two while Nailiah talked to her of her chosen and how it came about.
Gabrielle nods her head at Dark's question of being scared. She was indeed scared. None in her heard had felt a pull to find there destined chosen. They knew the signs of course and encouraged her to find hers but could not tell her what to expect once she did find her chosen only that she must. She could not remeber a time she was more scared. Not even being lost from her guardians or herd could compare to this.
"Yes, I am very very scared. Scared that if and when I find my chosen I will be away from my heard, my family for so long. Scared that I wont be me anymore. What is worse is I am also scared of never finding my chosen." Gabrielle's ears are laid back. Her tail flickers and it was all she could do to keep the trembling down.

Nailiah gazed at the mare with understanding. She resisted the urge to say 'you poor thing' for some reason. She looked over her shoulder at Dark who remained silent. It seemed as though the mare would have to do the talking in this scenario. "The only time you would be away from your herd is when you want to be. A chosen is someone who knows you inside and out as you know him or her in the same way. I doubt that if you wanted to go back, you always will have the option of going back. However...you wouldn't feel whole without your chosen." Nailiah flicked her tail as if directing it at the woman who continued to braid parts of her mane.
"Oh trust me, you'll be you. The only thing that changes is that you'll have someone else in your head and in your heart. For the most part, one will never change. And your chosen should never ask you to." Nailiah emphasized the last part. She wanted Gabrielle to be sure to stand her own ground. "You need to keep yourself in order to find your chosen. Now, I've never heard of an azrein never finding their chosen. I mean, it may take a few days, a few weeks, a year...no one knows how much time will pass, but a chosen is always found whenever that distinctive pull is felt." The mare gave a bit of a grin feeling Dark scratch along her shoulders, back, and neck. However, she frowned noticing Gabrielle's expression. "Would you like some water? Maybe something to eat will settle you down..." Dark slid off the mare as she crept forward to get a better look at Gabrielle. "You look pale dear...maybe you should rest."

.:: Gabrielle ::. Gabrielle lissens to them both talk about there bond and feels a lightness inside her, as if a great weight has been lifted from her shoulders. She closes her eyes as peace falls over her, soothing her from inside out for the first time since the dreams started. She knew then that everything would work itself out. That her chosen would be her perfect match. She wondered what it would be like to be connected in mind and soul. She opens her eyes to look back at Nailiah and Dark.
" Would it be ok if I had a meal before some rest. I know its been a couple days since I had any sleep but I need to keep my strenght up. Its not easy to fly when you are lightheaded. Might fly into a tree or worse. Have you ever thought how fierce those geese can be? They are not much as a single one but have a flock of them together and I would not want to get them angry. They can be quite scary. Lucky for me that I have never angered any of them. "
She watches Dark braid her bonded's hair currious at how that would feel to have done to her. She swishes her tail while thinking it over realizing she would like to know what it felt like to have her main and tail in a braid.
"Would it be alright if Dark braided my main and tail? It looks like alot of fun and I am currious to know what it feels like... that is if its ok." Gabrielle Journal Link

"Oh I'm sure we can get some food for you. Dark hasn't gone to the market in a while, but she usual has some things in stock." The mare gave a quick grunt as her human slipped off of her landing quietly on her two feet. Nailiah couldn't help but give a whicker as she turned to lead Gabrielle to the stables. "I couldn't tell you about the geese thing. Can't fly." Nailiah motioned toward her wingless back with a bit of a grin. "But I'm quite sure that it can be taxing using all that energy."
The two azrein came forward toward the barn as Dark had been shoveling out one of the stalls and placing fresh hay to lay out a bed. The human had fetched some fresh water earlier and the most she could find to eat was the last bit of honey treated oat and hay which was placed in the other trough. "It may not be nice, but I'm sure it will do for the night." Dark flashed a smile as she brushed some hair from her face. At the question, the human tilted her head. "Well I'm sure if you ask me since I am in fact right here, I wouldn't mind." Of course the girl was joking, but she was also trying to teach a lesson. Nailiah gave her a look to be nice, but Dark waved her off. The human strode up to the other mare and patted at her neck as she eyed her mane and tail. "You do have quite a lot to work with. I'm sure I can play around." Dark giggled as she began starting on a few strands already off to the side of Gabrielle's face, her hands working quickly in a weaving motion.
