Roch stared at the massive undead boil he'd dragged into the gym. Well, not so much dragged. It hadn't been hard getting the guy there at all. He reached out, summoning his guitar. "This is something we probably shouldn't tell Freya about," he told the big guy. "She'll be irritated she didn't get to watch."

Oh no, it hadn't been hard to get Herryk to the gym whatsoever. Herryk would be lying if he said he wasn't anticipating the thought of getting in some spars -- an added bonus that it was Roch.
Feeling cockier than was probably wise, Herryk snorted.
"When Herryk beats Roch, Roch should not think of calling Freya to tend to his wounds."

Roch stared at him blankly for a half second, almost laughing at the very idea. "Dude, seriously, she's at the BOTTOM of my list for that! She'd probably break something else trying to wrap it up! No, first it'd be Xiu, then Taryn, then Hel--POSSIBLY, then Danny, and that's only because she'd probably burn my pants at the time--then Mot, Jove, possibly, then Gee--and he'd probably break my ribs--"

Herryk rolled his eyes as Roch went on and on and on and on about all the boils and ghouls he would call on for help before he called on Freya. The kid talked a lot.
"Uhhhhgghh," Herryk groaned in exasperation, swinging a wide fist towards Roch. It glanced off the boil's shoulder, fairly harmless.
"Is Roch going to fight or is Roch going to keep talking?" It didn't matter either way to Herryk.

Roch grinned, evilly as the blow glanced against his shoulder, doing pretty much nothing. He turned his leg and kicked the other boil on the shin as he dodged the rest of the hit. He wanted to enjoy this, and doing it quickly wasn't the way to get his kicks.

Herryk grunted, rubbing his shin where the other boil had kicked him. The draugr narrowed his eyes at the reaper.
"Herryk does not blame Roch for wanting to cut Freya's clothes off," the black-skinned behemoth almost chortled. "But Roch should find a ghoul of his own."
It was obvious that Herryk was looking to incite Roch for one reason or another. Perhaps there was something frustrating Herryk that had nothing to do with the boil he was sparring with. Then again, maybe Herryk just didn't like Roch. At this point in time, it was a little difficult to tell.

"I was just cutting off her SLEEVES," Roch repeated, kicking the undead in the thigh this time. "I jackin' hate sleeves, and she was trying to EAT them!"

A loud snort echoed through the gym.
Sleeves? Really?
"Sleeves? Roch, Herryk understands that Freya was not acting ... normal." He threw a punch, grunting in satisfaction when it connected. The punch didn't have the force behind it to damage Roch -- maybe it would wind him a little -- but the connection of fist to gut was a nice feeling.
"But just because Freya was not herself doesn't mean that Roch should have done what he did." This train of thought made perfect sense to Herryk.

"Sleeves," Roch drawled. "Are what people that WEAR shirts know as the part that covers the arms." He brought up his guitar, tapping the big guy on one of the arms. "There. That's where a sleeve would be." This guy was a jackin' moron, wasn't he?

"Herryk knows what sleeves are, Roch. Just because Roch does not like sleeves does not mean he should go around tearing off sleeves of all the boils and ghouls around school." Yeah, yeah, Freya was chewing on them. Freya also chewed on her hair when she was nervous, but that didn't mean that Herryk was going to cut off her hair!
"Roch talks too much," Herryk complained loudly. "Less talking and more punching!"

Herryk took the blow like a champ, though he did go to one knee. Bracing himself on the floor, Herryk rose to his feet. That had stung. If Herryk had needed to breathe, it would have knocked the breath out of him.
"That is more like it Roch." He lifted a hand as he rose to his feet, waving his fingers. "Again!"

Herryk gave a shrug. Roch wanted some? He was gonna get some.
Holding his fists out to the side, Herryk's fists seemed to shimmer like hot asphalt in the sun. He slammed his FEAR-laden fists together before charging towards Roch, using one beefy fist to catch Roch across the chin.
The hit was solid. Very solid. It felt good.

Roch got hit. Those jackin' fists were HUGE he realized, spitting out a bit of blood. He shrugged it off, then hit the big guy with his guitar again, jabbing it into his gut. He'd actually wanted to hit the guy harder, but it was a decent blow. Then again, his ears were still ringing, so he shouldn't have been that surprised.
