Well, there she was again in front of the gates of Makai Academy. The ornate wrought iron gates she had come fond of stood there, right before her. Coming up soon was the test to become a Witch and Ameria, well.... She wasn't sure she was ready. She never did like fighting and she wasn't exactly sure of her abilities. Ameria wasn't sure of herself either, to be honest. Yes, the girl had grown out of her little clam shell of a shy personality and into a more out-going and hyper active one, but that did not mean confidence came with it as well. She bit her bottom lips causing it to redden and slightly swell as she tucked a stray strand of hair behind her ear. Was her magic strong enough? Had she studied enough? So many questions raced through her mind and made the Witchling fall back into her old self, the more quiet Ameria that didn't come out as much. With a deep breath, Ameria passed through the gates of the academy with such a solemn look upon her face. Hopefully Ameria was ready for the future test.

Kalypso made her way toward back toward the school from a day of shopping. She had to get out of the school. She was so nervous with graduation being right around the corner. She didn't really want to think about what the outcome might be.
She knew she had to be more uplifting and have more confidence in her abilities but it was hard when everything she did turned out to be a disaster. She was a walking failure and she knew it. She thought about the accident she had in class the other day. She was trying to do a simple spell that ended with the whole school being evacuated for the day. She wanted to ask someone who went through the Grave of Faires what it was like but was too afraid to talk to any of the other students. Since being here she hadn't made that few friends. She kept telling herself to be more outgoing, but it was a hard venure for her.
She shaked her head. No She wouldn't think of that embrassing experience. As she made her way to ward the entrance of the school she saw someone she a familar face."Ameria"

Her name had been called, hadn't it? Ameria whipped around to see Kalypso, the girl she hung out with every now and then during school. Seeing the shy girl's face made a smile spring across Ameria's.
"Kalypso! Hello again! Oh, do you need help? So many bags!" Before Kalypso could give the Witchling an answer, Ameria took a bag with a warm smile. Her adorable, partly considered, friend seemed sad today more so than usual and Ameria's smile faded into a small frown.
"Is everything alright? Or is it because of the final test that's coming up?" With a sigh, Ameria began to walk by the silver haired girl's side. "I'm worried about the test, too.... It feels like.... School went by so quickly, you know? I'm sort of not ready to leave...." Her sentences ended in another sigh.
"So, where are you headed to? Dorm? I was hoping to go to a field or our fountain and train with my magic before the test, you know?"

"Thank you."Kalypso letted Ameria take one of the bags from her. She smiled at Ameria. She hadn't seen her friend for a while except when passing the halls in school."Oh yes its the test that's coming up that's getting to me. I'm afraid that with all my studying that I've been doing that I won't past."
Kalypso also let out a sigh."It has gone by so fast. I hope I don't have to stay here another year. I was the one who nearly putted the school on fire the other day. I was just trying to make a simple spell and it turned out wrong."
Kalypso thought about what Ameria said about training her magic."I'll go with you if you want. Just let me take my stuff to my dorm."

"Sure, I'll follow you!" Ameria happily replied to her friend. She wasn't the only one worried about the trial and that made her feel a little more secure.
"So.... I heard you went to the Hallow's Ball. How was it? I had to study hard that night. My mom wouldn't let me go. Oh, you have to tell me all about it!" A teasing, goofy grin was then plastered onto the Witchling's face as the two of them entered the dorm building.
"Did you kiss a boy~?" she asked with a light nudge to her friend's arm.

Kalypso made her way towards her doomroom with Ameria by her side. She was glad that she didn't have a roommate and was the only person living in her dorm. She thought about what Ameria asked her. Oh yes the ball. She hesitered. She was afraid to tell Ameria everything even about the part where she fainted in the middle of the ballroom in font of everyone. She thought about leaving that part out.
"Oh the ball was... It was fine at first. I went with a group of people. Two boys Lea and Xerxes and a witch, Cedar. I was having a good time untill the deranged witch eater came and killed someone right before my eyes." Kalypso shudderd. "It was so awful. I have never been more scared in my life.
They finally reached her small dorm room. Kalypso made sure to put whatever food she had to be put in storage away.
"Ok we can go now."

"D-d-deranged..... Witch.... Eater....?" Ameria practically dropped the bag she was carrying while her words were yelped. Thankfully, by the that had happened the two Witchlings were at Kalypso's dorm.
"K-k-kalypso! Were you ok? Did you get hurt?! Did..... Did the person's.... Heart get.... Ripped out....?" Ameria asked with a cringe as she set down her bag and watched her friend put stuff away like nothing had happened at the ball.
With a light n** of her lip, the Witchling thought hard about the information she was just given. Maybe that Witch Eater was the cause of all the ruckus that had gone on the passed few weeks....

Kalypso looked at Ameria and told her the rest of the story. "I'm fine, I didn't get hurt. And yes the persons heart got ripped out right in front of me and the other participant of the ball." She took a big breath. "I don't really know what happened much after that. I fainted." She didn't want Ameria to think of her as a wuss, or a loser so she thought of something else to say. "I fainted..... in a boys arms." There hopefully Ameria won't even notice the part about her fainting.
"I have never seen someone's heart get ripped out and eaten like that. It was so scary. And what really hurt was the fact that I couldn't do anything about it. I couldn't even help my friends." After putting her all her stuff away Kalypso followed Ameria out of her dorm.

Kalypso didn't seem to want to talk about what had happened at ball. It was like she was rushing Ameria out of her dorm, ready to just get going with what they had planned. A small sigh escaped the Witchling's lips and she nipped her lower one once more. Her poor friend, having to see that. She probably would've fainted as well. With a slight shrug, Ameria took Laypso's hand and gave her a toothy grin.
"I have the perfect place for us to practice before the test! Let's get our minds off of the ball and back onto our studies, eh?" she said as she dragged her friend off to a field near the school.
Once they arrived, Ameria scanned their surroundings to make sure no one was present. This was to be her and her friend's own private training session. Well, that and since both of them weren't really comfortable with their magic yet she thought it'd be easier if no one was around.
Ameria let go of the silver haired girl's hand and hopped ahead a bit. She then turned around and put her hands behind her back. The girl was only a few feet away, but it should have been enough for them to practice without hitting each other.
"So, have you figured out what you're best at yet?"

Kalypso followed Ameria outside of the school and was led to a field near the school. Kalypso was happy about this. There would be nobody around to watch her if she accidently makes a mistake and mess up.
"I like this place, it's nice and secluded. We can practice in peace without worrying about anybody seeing us."
She took a big breath when Ameria asked her what she was good at. She hadn't really thought about that. Was she good at healing magic? No she didn't really think so. She looked around to make sure no body was looking. "Well this is all I can do right at the moment." She walked around the field until she saw a plant bud growing out of the ground. She got down on her knees and putted her hands around the plant and started to sing. The bud started to grow until it became a big sunflower. "That's it. Thats my magic. Unfortunately that is the only magic that I can do. I haven't thought about what to call my magic. I just know that I can only sing or play my violin and do magic but so far I can only make plants grow."
