 Heed the Glowing Call was, on a rare instance, asleep when the sun had come up that morning. He had been asleep, actually. After frollicking for a few hours with the fireflies, and seeking out That-Which-Would-Not-Be-Found, exhaustion had hit the kimeti in waves. Resting his head for a few minutes had turned into sleep, and as the sun rose, Heed had made the mistake of picking a spot with little shade.
The sun practically burned into his eyes when he opened them. Grimacing, he squinted and pushed himself out of the muck, shaking it from his belly and squinting as he looked around. It was rare that Heed saw everything under the harsh glow of the Sun's light, but with renewed energy, he couldn't find it in him to just sleep again.
Perhaps he would have better luck finding a legendary during the bright day than the dark night, anyway. With his mind made up, Heed spun in a slow circle, taking everything in. And then he picked a direction; quite at random, and began to walk. Every journey began with a step, right?

 Free yawned gently, stretching slightly, and rising up from her mossy bed. She casually glanced around the glade. Nobody else was here- and of course not! It was past morning, and she'd overslept! Free jumped up, and darted over to her ponds quickly, and looked at her fish- they were fine, and seemed content enough. She made sure the water flow to the plants and fish was unhindered, and then sighed. She glanced around, and then trotted off quietly towards the berry bushes. Maybe one of the others was there, after all- she could here a faint rustling. "Hello, who's there?" she called out softly, curious.

Heed was jerked into sudden awareness at the soft call of another nearby. He frowned for a split second, moving through the brush towards the voice. He was momentarily thrown when the foliage gave way to a glade, and in this glade, there he presumed was the source of the call.
"Hello." He greeted from the edge of the glade, peering with interest at the berry bushes. He hadn't eaten, yet, but didn't make a step to do so. These weren't his berries; by right, she was here first. "Good morning, rather." He offered, though Heed knew it was a bit later in the day than what could be considered 'morning'.

Free smiled gently at the male, a bit shy. He definitely was not the slender, flirty Acha buck, Harm Undone. She studied him close, and grinned at him a bit stupidly. "Hello, there...How...how are you?" she asked, gulping a bit, a nervous fluttering in her chest.
He was taller than her, and twice as broad in the chest, if she wasn't misjudging. And his coat color was beautiful- the way it changed was gorgeous. She found herself stepping closer, head tilted and ears flicked up, curiously. "I'm...Flowing Freely...What are you called?"
