History
Adrian flew through college and stood apart from his peers as one of the most promising young artists at the school. He was well versed in various mediums, including oil paints, pastels, charcoal, and ink. After graduation, companies and individuals lined up, desperate to get a piece from Adrian. As time wore on, however, Adrian began to despise what was once his passion. Art became a chore, something to merely complete as quickly as possible so he could banish it from his sight. Around age 33 Adrian could no longer distinguish one piece from another; they all twisted into a sickening blur. Just as he was about to reach his breaking point, a horrible accident occurred. While Adrian stood with several other artists and customers in an art gallery, a woman driving turned her eyes for just a second to read the latest text from a friend. The next moment she looked up a child was crossing the road with his mother. Acting instinctively, the woman threw the wheel hard to the right, heading straight towards the sleek glass of the art gallery entrance. As glass rained down around the crowd, a particular large piece caught deep into the flesh of Adrian's left wrist. The doctors were able to reattach the severed muscles, promising Adrian he would be able to regain most of the moment in his hand if he completed months of difficult physical therapy.
