Wandering the cove, Dakota couldn't help but sense a foreboding, a sense of destiny. His hands tucked into the Khaki pants he had come in, his Orange eyes oddly matched the flickering torches of the stairs as he descended into what he would remember as something you would see from an old school Sci-Fi history room. Whoever decorated it? The needed more orange and red's in here, it was downright depressing.

His eye's we're caught on the wall though, a faint hum...and faint glow to them had him coming closer to them. He cocked his head at the inscriptions and sighed.

"How the hell am I suppose to read this?" He crossed his arms. A small whisper resounded in the room in response, sending chills down his spine. His head turned quickly around to locate the source but was met with only the faint sway of the single torch and darkness. He narrowed his eye's and looked back at the wall.

His hand out reached to one to touch one f the weapons, it looked like a giant axe, running his hand over it.

"Huh?" His head swiveled to look over his shoulder. He had heard, a clear female voice. It sounded Hot and well, Dakota did like the ladies. When he didn't see anyone though, his face scrunched up. "It's not nice to play Hide and seek! Come out!" He moved to wander away from the wall, looking for the mysterious voice.

The voice was behind him now, coming from the wall. He turned and studied it again before coming closer. His hands gravitated towards the panels. Was she stuck behind the wall? Perhaps he needed to find the right Panel to press and it would lead to another room. Like a trap door! "Hold on Babe! I'll have this wall figured out in no time!" He laid his hand on one of the panels and got a hiss from it instead. Pulling his hands back he stared at it before hissing back. "Tch."

"Wait, Who's jealous?" Dakota grinned, "Are there guys back there trying to keep me away from you? No, I want you for my partner."

The voice said. Dakota stared at the wall before stopping in front of a panel. It glowed with a faint orange and in it was...A sword. Shorter then most, but the hilt was curved and the blade even more so. He reached out to touch it before he was engulfed in a bright orange light. For a moment, if you asked him later, He swore up and down he saw the figure of a flaming bird before he closed his eyes from being blinded.

"Overly dramatic lighting for the win." He mumbled.

The voice continued to speak as Dakota stared down at the weapon in his hand. His mind was slow to register before he held the thing up to eye contact. "Are you talking to me? What the hell is this?" He grimaced. Had he been had by this place? Was he finally going crazy? Maybe it had been the exposure to all the weird beings he saw as a child. No wait, maybe this was him finally losing his mind. When did weapons start talking?

The female voice had a bit of a snip but overall it sounded pretty pleased...almost smug.

"No." He denied the weapon before he could even shake his head, "My Partner is suppose to be a busty sexy babe. I imagined a CLEARLY different being then yourself. Your kinda of lacking in the bust...and sexy....and All over Babe part." He grimaced, so Partners weren't actual people, they we're weapons. Figures.

It almost sounded like the woman was puffing up, the blade shimmered with fire in mock indignation as Dakota turned it over in his palm. She was funny about how she phrased things. He had to agree though, the beauty of the weapon was well... clearly amazing. In fact, he was acting like a child with a new toy. He gave it a experimental swing and his eye's popped at the ray of flame that came out. Cool. It figured though, He was here because of fire, and now he had some power over it.

"Alright, So your a weapon, A phoenix you say?" He smiled ignoring her, "Never mind the sexy, busty Female thing. I think I can handle an all powerful Fire bird." He held her up fully to see, before running his hand over the hilt. Somehow, it seemed to fit him so perfectly, it was like she was truly meant for him.

"Your pretty smug for a weapon." Dakota commented, he was beginning to like her more and more. Especially if she kept calling him nice names. Plus, she was right. If he was picked by her..."No isn't it that I picked you?"

It made a small low chuckle before quieting the hum of fire along it's blade where he touched. To him, it would feel like a soothing flame. He continued to stare at her, An awkward silence covered the room.

"Okay, So you chose me, your in my hands. What do we do now." Dakota looked around. Did he achieve the goal that the Dr. H wanted? "How do we work together?"

The voice sound airy and light now, the humming had returned to the hilt. For some reason, Dakota had the urge to tuck her into his belt and continue the conversation.

"Your awfully comfortable with close contact." Dakota grinned as he did tuck her away, wandering the room now. She was warm on his thigh, like a constant reminder of a heat source next to him. Fire. Always Fire.

She chirped.

"Okay. Okay." Dakota grinned before looking over the weapon again, "What's your name again?

"Okay Chama. My name is Dakota. Dakota Rainstar, Awesomely Extraordinaire." Dakota grinned.

"Yeah, It time isn't it. Let's get our of here and get started." It was time, He would find that Demon and he would fight, he would rely on Chama as long as she let him.
