Gale was really unlucky, or Marcus was super lucky. That was a bout the jist oh how their previous battles went down. He'd come close each time yet... Marcus somehow managed to come out on top... ending up with him having to take Gale back to the dorms. He didn't want Marcus to hold back but just-
It's like kicking scareons!

Whatever.
Ready for the fight, Marcus smiled. "Nope. I told you, training is good. Besides, we got to break my winning streak, Luck shouldn't determine a battle you know?"

He spread his arms wide, the rifle appearing in his left. "And, here I am."
Then he gripped the barrel and swung it around like a bat at Marcus' side.

Gale staggered a few steps backwards, wincing at the cut to his leg, but it didn't deter him, not this time. Even though his next hit was just a glancing blow, there was still a determined expression on Gale's face.

Marcus's lip twitched at the blow, trying to not show any signs of pain. This battle was kind of about maning up and being a badass.
So far, Gale was winning.

That was a sound hit, as Marcus wasn't able to hold back his pained expression. "You've gotten better." He was being worn down more quickly this time. A vicious swing of his sword went to Gale's torso. Time to try and even the odds.

Gale grunted, staggering back a few steps. Grinning, he shook back his sweat dampened hair away from his face and flung the rifle out against Marcus' shoulders.

He debated briefly on using Jinhai's charged attack, but then decided not to, instead throwing his leg up in a kick to Marcus' side.
