If the character you want is taken, that is simply too bad. It's a first come first served deal, but it will be refreshed with time so you maybe able to roleplay as the vocaloid you would like to in the future. If you were looking to land an official vocaloid remember there are characters made in the same likeness of them. Say you wanted to be Miku there is always Sakura Miku, and Yuki Miku, even Zatsune, and Hagane Miku. Miku and most of the others have several other forms. You can claim those as well! Even if you wanted to be Rin there is always Lenka and if you wanted to be Len there is always Rinto. But these characters are to be claimed in the Utauloid section.
If you would like a more higher up position you have to PM me about it.(Things like vice principals, deans, nurses, etc.) Also the option to be student teachers is available. You can teach some classes, or assist a teacher and still be considered a student of the academy with your own classes and priorities to attend to.
