 Lecila walks into the clearing of the forest several miles from her home. She ran into this trainer at the local town and thought it would be a good thing to start battling because she wants to be a strong dragon tamer and a well-known dragon breeder as well. So, here she was, as agreed to meet at this location to do their battle. Kashti, her unique dratini, was safely in his pokeball but not for long. The breeze was fresh and the weather was just right.
Lecila pulled out Kashti's pokeball from her belt and lifted it up to her face. "You ready for your first battle, Kashti?" Lecila didn't wait for a reply as she did not expect it. "I know I am, and I think you are too."
Lowering her hand with the pokeball, Lecila looked up into the trees and saw several pidgey and pidove take flight as if sensing a battle was going to happen.

 Mina entered the clearing soon after, a hand held above her eyes to block them from the sun's penetrating glare. She waved when she saw dragon trainer across the field, just as they had planned, and retrieved her own Poké Ball from the belt that was on her side.
"Ready?" she called, preparing to release her battle-eager Marowak, Rohe.

Lecila turned her attention to the rustling of movement from across the clearing and smiled. "Glad you could make it." Lecila waved back in return. "I will be starting the battle if you don't mind."
With that, Lecila lifted the pokeball that held an also eager pokemon to her lips and kissed it. "We got this one in the bag, Kashti, even if you are not at your highest stature." With that, Lecila tossed up her pokeball in the air. "Come on out, Kashti!" Lecila already knew that Mina had a Marowak in her possession. So she needs to make sure Kashti gives the hardest blows he can or this battle will be a bust.
Kasti, the black rainbowed Dratini appeared several yards in fornt of Lecila with a determine look on his face. He may be small and weak-looking but he will not be afraid of a battle even if butterfrees are swimming frantically in his stomach.
Lecila looked over at Mina. "You ready?"

Mina nodded her approval, pulling her hat down to free her still-raised hand. In one swift motion, Rohe's Poké Ball was thrown to the floor and in a beam of light, the Marowak appeared from within.
"Whenever you are," she called back in response, assessing their surroundings and the opponent Pokémon as she did so. The field was relatively level, with few projectiles Rohe could use to her advantage. Still, she thought, the trees may be of some help, especially with the legs her Marowak had use of.
"Maro!" Rohe cried towards the Dratini, her tail lashing eagerly. Despite the strange colors her opponent held, she recognized it for what it was, and looked forward to testing her skills against an early stage of the nearly-legendary Dragonite.

"We can do this, Kashti! Let's start off with a Aqua tail!"
Kashti gave a small cry before diving into the pond that was just off the clearing. For a brief second all was quiet before Kashti jumped into the air above the water and swinged his tail as if creating waves. The water-like energy pulsed towards Rohe, the Marowak.

"Rohe, retaliate with Ice Beam!" Mina reponded, hoping the attack would freeze the Dratini's Aqua Tail right in its tracks -- literally.
Rohe didn't need to be told twice. Rushing towards the smaller Pokémon despite the dangers that presented itself with her nearing proximity to the water, she let loose a cold jet of ice from her maw, directing the beam towards her opponent.

Lecila gritted her teeth as she watched Kashti take an ice hit. That gotta hurt but there's no pain in any gain. Lecila tried to meet Mina's eyes with a grim smile. "Good hit but we will see if it'll last." She went back to focus on the battle.
Meanwhile, Kashti had an icy shock as the Aqua Tail froze in it's tracks and backfired, causing him to crash into the waters of warmer temperature. Luckily for the both of them (Lecila and Kashti), he was not a quitter just because he had a set back.
"We can do icy too, right Kashti? Let's show them something to shiver about with Bizzard!" Lecila pointed at their opponents.
Kashti took a deep breath, puffing himself up before blowing chilly air that was as horrible as, well, a bizzard at Rohe. Both Kashti and Lecila had the same thing in mind. Freeze them dead in their tracks before they could do any more damage.

Mina met Lecila's eyes, returning the expression. It was too early to tell what the end of the battle would be like, and neither wanted to lose.
"Keep your distance, Rohe!" she called, worried. "Use boomerang!"
Rohe attempted to follow up with another attack when the Dratini fell, but it recovered too quick. Cursing the small Pokémon's speed, she leapt back and to the side. She was too far to seek shelter from the fringing trees but, thankfully, the movement appeared to be enough for her to avoid the brunt of the attack.
With a deft fling of her arm, she threw the bone once she had landed safely on her feet.

Lecila was shocked that the Blizzard did not work. How in the world did the Marowak dodge it! No matter! They will have to try again.
"We cannot give up, Kashti!" Lecila shouted as she watches Kashti got smacked with the bone flying at him. Lecila watched Kashti was flung back into the water again but it didn't take long for him to resurface again. "Use Blizzard one more time! This time give it all you got!"
Once more, Kashti took a deep breath and released a powerful gust of icy wind that even caused the grass and trees to frost up a little.

((You never know, though. *A* Those fours you keep rolling are getting me on edge. XD))
Mina released a held breath when Rohe came out of the attack relatively unharmed. Blizzard was a favorite move of one of the legendaries she hard, and she'd prefer not to see the brunt of damage it could deal first-hand.
"Go with another boomerang!" she called again, hoping the distance would help Rohe against the second blizzard that was heading her way.
Closer to the trees now, Rohe jumped behind one, standing behind its protection as the icy winds wound around the trunks and were guided away from her. The one she was closest to had faced the brunt of the attack and remained in poor shape now, cold ice already hardened on its side.
Simply glad it hadn't been her, Rohe let loose her bone once more, watching its speedy travel as it spun across the sky.

Lecila cannot believe the Blizzard had missed again as she winced while she watched Kashti got smacked by another boomerang. This time, it took a good solid hit and took the dratini a little while longer to resurface. However, even if the odds are now against them to win this battle, it will still be a good lesson in any case. They will have to keep trying to the very end, and maybe, just maybe at the last minute, the tables will turn.
Kashti dislike losing greatly but more so, dislike the face that he seemed to be off his game. Why was his attacks missing. He was sure that it aimed true. Just like his trainer, he refuse to quit and will fight to the bitter end.
"Kashti, give it another go! Blizzard! We have to stop it!" Lecila shouted.
Kashti cried out and blasted another gusty wind of snow.

Mina was glad the Dratini's attacks were missing up until now, but she didn't know how long it would last. Worrying, she figured it'd be best to get it over with as soon as possible.
"Return the favor, Rohe! Use ice beam!"
Rohe's bone crashed into the iced-side and lodged there as it returned, cracking it with an audible noise that rang across the field. Waiting for the latest wave of Blizzard to pass over, she ran out to retrieve it, a beam of cold-white ice erupting from her mouth towards Kashti along the way.

It seems that both Kashti and Lecila's luck was bad but not too bad as the Kashti managed to dodge that ice beam nicely. That would have been the kicker.
"Come on! This will be a shut out if we don't do somthing! Last time, Kashti and maybe you can rest." Lecila felt like a little defeated already but she promised herself she would not stop until the end. She will learn with this battle too. "Again! Blizzard!"
Once again, Kashti did the Blizzard attack but with almost an expectation of missing again.
