It didn't feel like a super big youma. The power wasn't overwhelming or terrifying, there weren't really any sounds she could hear echoing through the night as a sign of the chaos it might be causing. But the aura of a youma was there nonetheless, and Polaris wasn't the sort to just.. let them run around free. They were monsters after all.. instinctual beasts sent out by the negaverse.
It might not be causing trouble yet, but as far as she knew it would eventually find itself into some trouble. An indeniable 'fact' and something that just needed to be nipped in the bud sooner rather than later.
Slipping through the dark and cool night, she was actually on the road for once instead of roof hopping. And for a moment she regretted how badly it handicapped her vision.
And then she felt it... the soft sensation of an ally somewhere nearby too. Were they hunting down the same youma? Polaris wasn't the sort to fight over an enemy or not want to share. Very much the opposite. In fact, as soon as she'd felt it her pace quickened, a mild excitement at the possibilities.
Would it be an old friend that she hadn't seen in awhile? It wasn't a knight.. so it couldn't be Niflhel. Or would it be a whole new 'friend' to make? Whatever the answer, it made the little youma hunt all that much more thrilling.

It was indeed not a super big youma. It was about the size of a bear dog, in fact it looked like a dog, but Andromeda felt obligated to run after it anyway. It had tried to kill an innocent bystander or two, and it had shoved aside a few adults that Andromeda shouted apologies to as she jumped over them so she wouldn't stumble or trip over them. She would normally stop to make sure they were okay but she needed to get to that youma! Ugh! Why did the Negaverse send these things loose like this?! A few drunks tried to get pictures of the youma only to be knocked out of the way like it had gone bowling for humans, one could just imagine the sound of a bowling ball hitting pins in an alley. It would be quite comical for the girl were she not trying to catch the stupid thing to make it stop its rampage. It hadn't tried to attack anyone though, which was strange. For now it was just...charging through the city.
Whatever. She stopped questioning it.
She felt the energy of another senshi nearby and stumbled in her step, nearly falling flat on her face but somehow awkwardly keeping her footing enough to stay standing. Who was that? It felt kind of like Nemesis. Was Nemesis here to help her..again? She grimaced. She didn't want that kind of help anymore. She swallowed hard and looked around, spotting the blue-haired senshi on the other side of the street. She wasn't Nemesis but she also had fluffy white wings sprouting from her lower back just like the senshi of decay. A panicked look was given to the senshi and then the bear-sized youma. She couldn't stop to socialize but she couldn't just...ignore her. She was stronger! She could help! Andromeda was hopping from one foot to the other, panicking just a little. "U-um..HELLO!" She called out, jumping up and down and flailing her arms. "Ah..um..CAN YOU HELP ME PLEASE I'M HAVING SOME TROU--AH COME BACK!" Andromeda cried after the youma as it ran around a corner, resuming her chase after it. For something so big it sure ran fast!

Adorable! Had she had a moment to really just watch the whole thing... the cute like fuku, the flailing, and of course the polite call... Polaris would have inwardly squealed at how adorable the other senshi was. A new friend it would be if she had anything to do about it! And Andromeda was definately in luck, if she was hoping for 'not Nemesis', because there was very little that in common between the two eternals.
Assistance requested, she didn't hesitate, offering only a mild warning before she let her attack fly towards the dog-like youma. "Watch your head!"
"Magnetic field!" Even being in pursuit and moving didn't save the youma from the mini onslaught. Along the road small metal items rattled a little before beginning to pelt the youma like dozens of little homing missles. It wasn't enough to kill it in one shot, but the monster certainly did not seem to like the sudden shower, howling in pain and anger.
A soft sound of approval and pleased success escaped the senshi of magnetism before she joined in the pursuit with the other senshi, calling out. "Sailor Polaris, senshi of magnetism!"

Watch her head? Andromeda didn't have time to really ask what the other senshi meant by that before she called out what Andromeda could only assume wa her power. It was a safe assumption considering a manhole cover flew up and nearly hit her in the head on its way toward the youma. Said youma finally stopped in its traps when the cover, hundreds of coins dropped and never noticed over the years, a loose street sign and even a random pocket watch hit it and sent it to the ground. The youma laid there panting heavily as it tried to regain its footing. Andromeda gasped and tried to run a little faster so she could catch up with it. It couldn't get up again! It would certainly hurt someone! The property damage it had already caused was enough to make her fret.
"U-um! Andromeda! Of Jellyfish!" She panted, climbing over a car that was in her way instead of trying to go around it and waste time that way. How was Polaris able to run and introduce herself so easily?! She was so out of breath!

It might have been all those dance lessons throughout school. Or perhaps it was the months and years of senshi experience under her belt. It might have even been simply the sheer luck of having sensible boots instead of the usual senshi heels. Whatever the reason though, Polaris didn't seem to be have problems running or even multitasking. Her boots slapped against the ground, the treads providing a fairly solid and stable step to propel her forward.
The amount of junk around and the successfulness of her attack was a pleasant surprise for the senshi of magnetism, another soft whoop of glee and pride escaping her. The monster wasn't dead, but knocking it down and winding it was better than she often did with an initial attack.
They were getting close and as she heard the other girl call back a bit of an introduction she remembered once more that she wasn't alone, offering a quick shot smile. "You're turn to give it a hit?" Senshi could be weird sometimes Polaris had learned. Proud, territorial. She kind of doubted that would be the case considering Andromeda's original request for assistance. But better safe then sorry!
