Danny hummed quietly to herself as she picked up more boxes to deliver. Call it therapeutic, but Danny was thoroughly enjoying her time delivering the whimpering little boxes. Maybe it was because her mind was taken off Red for a little while. Maybe it was getting to check on all her friends, making sure they were safe and secure after fighting such a horrendous battle. Maybe it was just that Danny really liked running. Yeah, it was probably that last one.

Whatever the reason, Danny was running left and right, to and fro to deliver these packages. She wanted to make sure that everyone got one, and no one was left out. Besides, with the rate these packages seemed to be popping out of her closet, it didn’t really feel like she had another option. If she stopped anytime soon, she would soon have a tidal wave flowing out of her closet and taking over Amityville. Pretty soon they wouldn’t have to worry about the white coats; they’d have to worry about Danny’s closet.

Really, why did her mummy buy so many? Then again, it wasn’t exactly uncommon. In a lot of ways, her mummy was just like her. She did things on whim, and shopping was no exception.

Sighing, Danny found her first location: Birdy’s house. It had been so nice helping her get all better right after the floresctival, how could she not give him a present? Come to think of it, she had not even seen birdy since before the haunted house. Maybe it didn’t go? That would’ve been too bad. Danny could imagine birdy was very useful in battle situations, what with his healing claws and his … well his hat. The hat was very battle savvy, assuredly.

Politely, she knocked on the door. No answer. So she pounded on the door. Still no answer. Was he out maybe? “BIRDYYYYYYY~” Still nothing. Sighing, Danny left his present on the doorstep. Oh well. There were more fish in the se- … birds in the sky?

Next on her list was Xiu. Truthfully, she hadn’t seen the ghoul since before the haunted house either. She really needed to talk with more people … That wasn’t the point though. Roch had been so worried about Xiu the entire time- Danny felt the need to check up on her. It wasn’t just for Roch though, Danny had to check on Xiu too. It was no secret that Xiu was the cutesy type. Then again, Xiu had her scary fits like them all. Still, Danny couldn’t help but feel the need to see Xiu again, even if it meant just saying hi.

Of course, when Danny got to her dorm, the little baku wasn’t in. That was disappointing. She couldn’t have … well not come back, right? No, no. Xiu was tougher than most assumed. Besides, she had lots of friends backing her up. Roch had said something about a boo though hadn’t he. Oh Jack this was worrying. Well no matter. Danny pushed it out of her mind, and carried on, leaving the package on her doorstep.

Looking down the hallway, she realized there were a lot of people in it she didn’t know. Well, what better place to leave these Rabos? It wasn’t like the people at Amityville were bad people. Most of them were capable of caring for a Rabo, and Danny felt biased to think monsters were pretty good at it. Most of them shared a lot of traits with minipets anyways, right? So Danny dropped off a package in front of a room marked, “Temes.” Well the more the merrier, right?

Now she was on her way back to the demon dorms to restock. Seemed as though her job as a delivery woman was never over. On her way back she had two extra packages though. They whined her bag, clearly wanting to escape their boxes. All Danny said was, “Shut upppp. I’ll drop you off soon!” like the loving minipet owner she was.

As she ran down the hall, she noticed Yaya’s room. Well … truth be told, she didn’t like Yaya so much. It wasn’t that she had done anything, nor was she a mean person, but the water thing always made Danny feel extremely on edge whenever the demoness was in the room. After all, what if one day Yaya snapped and just walked into her room and started spraying water everywhere? What was she supposed to do then?!

… Okay so maybe that was exaggerating a tad. Yaya was far nicer than Danny gave her credit for, but the water djinn still made her nervous. Regardless though, Danny still set a package down on her doorstep. It was just polite after all.

Coming around the corner, she noticed Charlie’s dorm as well. She’d seen him around a few times in classes and what not, but Danny’d never really had a conversation with him. Still, he smiled a lot and seemed to enjoy pizza- Danny could definitely relate to that. A rabo for him? Sure, why not! Danny put her last package on the doorstep, and continued towards her room.

Danny was about to set a package on someone else’s doorstep when she realized her bag was empty. Oh no! That would never do. She definitely had to go get more, so she could deliver to more people! These people would like their presents right? Well of course, who didn’t like free things? Maybe she should stop by Hellma’s office and give her one as well …

Nevermind that though, now was the time for refilling! Danny ran to her dorm and flopped onto her bed. Her bed. If there was one thing she missed in the Haunted House the most, it was her bed. Sure they were technically only gone a day (which Danny still didn’t understand), but it had seemed like months. Happily, she pulled Ignis (who was, unsurprisingly asleep), and G closer. Tony and Tiff cuddled around her as well. This was definitely a nice change from the Haunted House.
